1 My heart overflows with a noble theme. I recite my verses for the king. My tongue is like the pen of a skillful writer.My heart overfloweth with a goodly matter; I speak the things which I have made touching the king: My tongue is the pen of a ready writer.지휘자를 위하여. "백합화" 곡조에 맞춘 노래. 고라 자손의 묵상. 결혼을 위한 노래. 내 마음이 아름다운 주제로 넘쳐 흐릅니다. 내가 왕을 위하여 지은 시를 읊습니다. 내 혀는 능숙한 서기관의 붓과 같습니다.
2 You are the most excellent of the sons of men. Grace has anointed your lips, therefore God has blessed you forever.Thou art fairer than the children of men; Grace is poured into thy lips: Therefore God hath blessed thee for ever.당신은 사람의 아들들 가운데 가장 빼어나시며, 당신의 입술에는 은혜가 부어졌으니, 그러므로 하나님께서 당신에게 영원히 복을 주셨습니다.
3 Strap your sword on your thigh, O mighty one, in your splendor and your majesty.Gird thy sword upon thy thigh, O mighty one, Thy glory and thy majesty.용사여, 당신의 칼을 허리에 차십시오. 그것은 당신의 영광이요 위엄입니다.
4 In your majesty ride on victoriously on behalf of truth, humility, and righteousness. Let your right hand display awesome deeds.And in thy majesty ride on prosperously, Because of truth and meekness and righteousness: And thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things.당신의 위엄으로, 진리와 겸손과 의를 위하여 승리하며 나아가십시오. 당신의 오른손이 두려운 일들을 드러내게 하십시오.
5 Your arrows are sharp. The nations fall under you, with arrows in the heart of the king’s enemies.Thine arrows are sharp; The peoples fall under thee; They are in the heart of the king’s enemies.당신의 화살이 날카로워서, 뭇 민족이 당신 아래 쓰러지며, 왕의 원수들의 심장에 화살이 박힙니다.
6 Your throne, God, is forever and ever. A scepter of equity is the scepter of your kingdom.Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: A sceptre of equity is the sceptre of thy kingdom.하나님이여, 당신의 보좌가 영원하고 영원하며, 당신 나라의 규는 공평의 규입니다.
7 You have loved righteousness, and hated wickedness. 8 All your garments smell like myrrh, aloes, and cassia. Out of ivory palaces stringed instruments have made you glad.All thy garments smell of myrrh, and aloes, and cassia; Out of ivory palaces stringed instruments have made thee glad.당신의 모든 옷에서 몰약과 침향과 계피 향기가 납니다. 상아 궁전에서 흘러나오는 현악기 소리가 당신을 기쁘게 합니다.
9 Kings’ daughters are among your honorable women. At your right hand the queen stands in gold of Ophir.Kings’ daughters are among thy honorable women: At thy right hand doth stand the queen in gold of Ophir.당신의 귀한 여인들 가운데 왕들의 딸들이 있고, 당신의 오른쪽에는 왕비가 오빌의 금으로 단장하고 섰습니다.
10 Listen, daughter, consider, and turn your ear. Forget your own people, and also your father’s house.Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline thine ear; Forget also thine own people, and thy father’s house:딸아, 들으라, 잘 생각하고 귀를 기울이라. 네 백성과 네 아버지의 집을 잊어버리라.
11 So the king will desire your beauty, honor him, for he is your lord.So will the king desire thy beauty; For he is thy lord; and reverence thou him.그리하면 왕이 네 아름다움을 사모할 것이니, 그를 높이라. 그가 네 주인이시기 때문이다.
12 The daughter of Tyre comes with a gift. The rich among the people entreat your favor.And the daughter of Tyre shall be there with a gift; The rich among the people shall entreat thy favor.두로의 딸이 예물을 가지고 오며, 백성 가운데 부유한 자들이 네 은총을 구할 것이다.
13 The princess inside is all glorious. Her clothing is interwoven with gold.The king’s daughter within the palace is all glorious: Her clothing is inwrought with gold.안에 있는 공주는 온통 영화로우며, 그의 옷은 금으로 짜여 있습니다.
14 She shall be led to the king in embroidered work. The virgins, her companions who follow her, shall be brought to you.She shall be led unto the king in broidered work: The virgins her companions that follow her Shall be brought unto thee.그는 수놓은 옷을 입고 왕에게로 인도되며, 그를 따르는 동무 처녀들도 당신께로 이끌려 올 것입니다.
15 With gladness and rejoicing they shall be led. They shall enter into the king’s palace.With gladness and rejoicing shall they be led: They shall enter into the king’s palace.그들은 기쁨과 즐거움으로 인도되어 왕의 궁전으로 들어갈 것입니다.
16 Your sons will take the place of your fathers. You shall make them princes in all the earth.Instead of thy fathers shall be thy children, Whom thou shalt make princes in all the earth.당신의 아들들이 당신의 조상들을 대신할 것이니, 당신은 그들을 온 땅에서 통치자로 삼을 것입니다.
17 I will make your name to be remembered in all generations. Therefore the peoples shall give you thanks forever and ever.I will make thy name to be remembered in all generations: Therefore shall the peoples give thee thanks for ever and ever.내가 당신의 이름을 대대로 기억되게 하리니, 그러므로 뭇 백성이 영원하고 영원히 당신께 감사할 것입니다.
