1 Have mercy on me, God, according to your loving kindness. According to the multitude of your tender mercies, blot out my transgressions.Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: According to the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.지휘자를 위한 노래. 다윗의 시. 다윗이 밧세바에게 들어간 뒤에 선지자 나단이 그에게 찾아왔을 때 지은 것이다. 하나님이여, 주의 인자하심을 따라 나를 긍휼히 여겨 주소서. 주의 크신 자비를 따라 내 허물을 지워 주소서.
2 Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity. Cleanse me from my sin.Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity, And cleanse me from my sin.내 죄악을 말끔히 씻어 주시고, 내 죄에서 나를 깨끗하게 해 주소서.
3 For I know my transgressions. My sin is constantly before me.For I know my transgressions; And my sin is ever before me.내가 내 허물을 잘 알고 있으며, 내 죄가 늘 내 앞에 있습니다.
4 Against you, and you only, I have sinned, and done that which is evil in your sight, so you may be proved right when you speak, and justified when you judge.Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, And done that which is evil in thy sight; That thou mayest be justified when thou speakest, And be clear when thou judgest.내가 주께, 오직 주께만 죄를 지었고, 주께서 보시기에 악한 일을 행하였으니, 주께서 말씀하실 때에 옳다 인정받으시고, 심판하실 때에 의롭다 하심을 받으실 것입니다.
5 Behold, I was born in iniquity. My mother conceived me in sin.Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity; And in sin did my mother conceive me.보소서, 나는 죄악 가운데 태어났으며, 어머니가 나를 죄 가운데 잉태하였습니다.
6 Behold, you desire truth in the inward parts. You teach me wisdom in the inmost place.Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts; And in the hidden part thou wilt make me to know wisdom.보소서, 주께서는 속마음에 진실을 원하시니, 내 깊은 속에 지혜를 가르쳐 주십니다.
7 Purify me with hyssop, and I will be clean. Wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.Purify me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.우슬초로 나를 정결케 하소서. 그리하면 내가 깨끗해질 것입니다. 나를 씻어 주소서. 그리하면 내가 눈보다 더 희게 될 것입니다.
8 Let me hear joy and gladness, that the bones which you have broken may rejoice.Make me to hear joy and gladness, That the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice.기쁨과 즐거움의 소리를 듣게 하셔서, 주께서 꺾으신 뼈들이 다시 즐거워하게 하소서.
9 Hide your face from my sins, and blot out all of my iniquities.Hide thy face from my sins, And blot out all mine iniquities.내 죄를 외면해 주시고, 내 모든 죄악을 지워 주소서.
10 Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me.Create in me a clean heart, O God; And renew a right spirit within me.하나님이여, 내 안에 깨끗한 마음을 창조해 주시고, 내 속에 정직한 영을 새롭게 해 주소서.
11 Don’t throw me from your presence, and don’t take your Holy Spirit from me.Cast me not away from thy presence; And take not thy holy Spirit from me.나를 주 앞에서 내쫓지 마시고, 주의 성령을 내게서 거두지 마소서.
12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation. Uphold me with a willing spirit.Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; And uphold me with a willing spirit.주의 구원의 기쁨을 내게 회복시켜 주시고, 자원하는 영으로 나를 붙들어 주소서.
13 Then I will teach transgressors your ways. Sinners will be converted to you.Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; And sinners shall be converted unto thee.그러면 내가 범죄한 자들에게 주의 길을 가르치리니, 죄인들이 주께로 돌아올 것입니다.
14 Deliver me from the guilt of bloodshed, O God, the God of my salvation. My tongue will sing aloud of your righteousness.Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation; And my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.하나님이여, 내 구원의 하나님이여, 피 흘린 죄에서 나를 건져 주소서. 그리하면 내 혀가 주의 의를 소리 높여 노래할 것입니다.
15 Lord, open my lips. My mouth will declare your praise.O Lord, open thou my lips; And my mouth shall show forth thy praise.주여, 내 입술을 열어 주소서. 그리하면 내 입이 주를 찬양할 것입니다.
16 For you don’t delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it. You have no pleasure in burnt offering.For thou delightest not in sacrifice; else would I give it: Thou hast no pleasure in burnt-offering.주께서는 제사를 기뻐하지 아니하시니, 그렇지 않다면 내가 드렸을 것입니다. 주께서는 번제도 기뻐하지 아니하십니다.
17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit. O God, you will not despise a broken and contrite heart.The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: A broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.하나님이 받으시는 제사는 상한 영이니, 상하고 통회하는 마음을 하나님이여, 주께서 멸시하지 아니하십니다.
18 Do well in your good pleasure to Zion. Build the walls of Jerusalem.Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion: Build thou the walls of Jerusalem.주의 선하신 뜻을 따라 시온에 은혜를 베푸시고, 예루살렘의 성벽을 세워 주소서.
19 Then you will delight in the sacrifices of righteousness, in burnt offerings and in whole burnt offerings. Then they will offer bulls on your altar.Then wilt thou delight in the sacrifices of righteousness, In burnt-offering and whole burnt-offering: Then will they offer bullocks upon thine altar.그때에 주께서 의로운 제사와 번제와 온전한 번제를 기뻐하실 것이며, 그때에 사람들이 주의 제단 위에 수송아지를 드릴 것입니다.
