1 Blessed is the man who doesn’t walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand on the path of sinners, nor sit in the seat of scoffers;Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the wicked, Nor standeth in the way of sinners, Nor sitteth in the seat of scoffers:악한 자들의 꾀를 따라 걷지 않고, 죄인들의 길에 서지 않으며, 비웃는 자들의 자리에 앉지 않는 사람은 복이 있다.
2 but his delight is in Yahweh’s law. On his law he meditates day and night.But his delight is in the law of Jehovah; And on his law doth he meditate day and night.그는 오직 여호와의 율법을 기뻐하며, 그 율법을 밤낮으로 묵상한다.
3 He will be like a tree planted by the streams of water, that produces its fruit in its season, whose leaf also does not wither. Whatever he does shall prosper.And he shall be like a tree planted by the streams of water, That bringeth forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also doth not wither; And whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.그는 시냇가에 심긴 나무 같아서, 철을 따라 열매를 맺고 그 잎이 시들지 않으니, 무엇을 하든지 다 잘될 것이다.
4 The wicked are not so, but are like the chaff which the wind drives away.The wicked are not so, But are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.악한 자들은 그렇지 않으니, 그들은 바람에 날려가는 겨와 같다.
5 Therefore the wicked shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.Therefore the wicked shall not stand in the judgment, Nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.그러므로 악한 자들은 심판 때에 서지 못하고, 죄인들은 의인들의 회중에 서지 못한다.
6 For Yahweh knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked shall perish.For Jehovah knoweth the way of the righteous; But the way of the wicked shall perish.여호와께서는 의인들의 길을 아시지만, 악한 자들의 길은 망할 것이다.
