1 Praise Yah! Praise Yahweh, my soul.Praise ye Jehovah. Praise Jehovah, O my soul.여호와를 찬양하라! 내 영혼아, 여호와를 찬양하라.
2 While I live, I will praise Yahweh. I will sing praises to my God as long as I exist.While I live will I praise Jehovah: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being.내가 살아 있는 동안 여호와를 찬양하겠고, 내가 존재하는 한 내 하나님께 찬송을 부르겠다.
3 Don’t put your trust in princes, in a son of man in whom there is no help.Put not your trust in princes, Nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.너희는 고관들을 의지하지 말라. 그들은 도울 힘이 없는 사람의 아들일 뿐이다.
4 His spirit departs, and he returns to the earth. In that very day, his thoughts perish.His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; In that very day his thoughts perish.그의 숨이 떠나면 그는 흙으로 돌아가니, 바로 그날에 그의 계획도 사라진다.
5 Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in Yahweh, his God,Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, Whose hope is in Jehovah his God:야곱의 하나님을 자기의 도움으로 삼고, 자기 하나님 여호와께 소망을 두는 사람은 복이 있다.
6 who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them; who keeps truth forever;Who made heaven and earth, The sea, and all that in them is; Who keepeth truth for ever;그분은 하늘과 땅과 바다와 그 안에 있는 모든 것을 지으신 분이요, 진실하심을 영원히 지키시는 분이다.
7 who executes justice for the oppressed; who gives food to the hungry. Yahweh frees the prisoners.Who executeth justice for the oppressed; Who giveth food to the hungry. Jehovah looseth the prisoners;그분은 억눌린 자를 위해 정의를 행하시고, 굶주린 자에게 먹을 것을 주신다. 여호와께서는 갇힌 자들을 풀어 주신다.
8 Yahweh opens the eyes of the blind. Yahweh raises up those who are bowed down. Yahweh loves the righteous.Jehovah openeth the eyes of the blind; Jehovah raiseth up them that are bowed down; Jehovah loveth the righteous;여호와께서는 눈먼 자의 눈을 열어 주시고, 여호와께서는 엎드러진 자를 일으켜 세우시며, 여호와께서는 의로운 자를 사랑하신다.
9 Yahweh preserves the foreigners. He upholds the fatherless and widow, but he turns the way of the wicked upside down.Jehovah preserveth the sojourners; He upholdeth the fatherless and widow; But the way of the wicked he turneth upside down.여호와께서는 나그네를 지켜 주시고, 고아와 과부를 붙들어 주시지만, 악인의 길은 굽게 하신다.
10 Yahweh will reign forever; your God, O Zion, to all generations. Praise Yah!Jehovah will reign for ever, Thy God, O Zion, unto all generations. Praise ye Jehovah.여호와께서 영원히 다스리실 것이다. 시온아, 네 하나님이 대대로 다스리신다. 여호와를 찬양하라!
