1 I will bless Yahweh at all times. His praise will always be in my mouth.I will bless Jehovah at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth.다윗의 시. 그가 아비멜렉 앞에서 미친 체하니, 아비멜렉이 그를 쫓아내므로 그가 떠났을 때 지은 것이다. 나는 어느 때나 여호와를 찬송하리니, 그분을 향한 찬양이 항상 내 입에 있으리라.
2 My soul shall boast in Yahweh. The humble shall hear of it and be glad.My soul shall make her boast in Jehovah: The meek shall hear thereof, and be glad.내 영혼이 여호와를 자랑하리니, 겸손한 사람들이 이를 듣고 기뻐하리라.
3 Oh magnify Yahweh with me. Let’s exalt his name together.Oh magnify Jehovah with me, And let us exalt his name together.나와 함께 여호와를 높이라. 우리가 다 같이 그분의 이름을 높이자.
4 I sought Yahweh, and he answered me, and delivered me from all my fears.I sought Jehovah, and he answered me, And delivered me from all my fears.내가 여호와를 찾았더니 그분이 내게 응답하시고, 내 모든 두려움에서 나를 건져 주셨다.
5 They looked to him, and were radiant. Their faces shall never be covered with shame.They looked unto him, and were radiant; And their faces shall never be confounded.그분을 바라본 사람들은 빛이 났으니, 그들의 얼굴은 결코 부끄러움으로 가려지지 않으리라.
6 This poor man cried, and Yahweh heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.This poor man cried, and Jehovah heard him, And saved him out of all his troubles.이 가난한 사람이 부르짖으매 여호와께서 들으시고, 그의 모든 환난에서 그를 구원하셨다.
7 Yahweh’s angel encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them.The angel of Jehovah encampeth round about them that fear him, And delivereth them.여호와의 천사가 그분을 경외하는 사람들을 둘러 진을 치고, 그들을 건지신다.
8 Oh taste and see that Yahweh is good. Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.Oh taste and see that Jehovah is good: Blessed is the man that taketh refuge in him.여호와께서 선하심을 맛보아 알라. 그분께 피하는 사람은 복이 있다.
9 Oh fear Yahweh, you his saints, for there is no lack with those who fear him.Oh fear Jehovah, ye his saints; For there is no want to them that fear him.그분의 거룩한 백성들아, 여호와를 경외하라. 그분을 경외하는 사람들에게는 부족함이 없다.
10 The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger, but those who seek Yahweh shall not lack any good thing.The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger; But they that seek Jehovah shall not want any good thing.젊은 사자도 궁핍하여 굶주리거니와, 여호와를 찾는 사람들은 어떤 좋은 것에도 부족함이 없으리라.
11 Come, you children, listen to me. I will teach you the fear of Yahweh.Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of Jehovah.자녀들아, 와서 내 말을 들으라. 내가 너희에게 여호와를 경외하는 법을 가르치리라.
12 Who is someone who desires life, and loves many days, that he may see good?What man is he that desireth life, And loveth many days, that he may see good?생명을 사모하고, 좋은 것을 보려고 오랜 날을 누리기 원하는 사람이 누구냐?
13 Keep your tongue from evil, and your lips from speaking lies.Keep thy tongue from evil, And thy lips from speaking guile.네 혀를 악에서 지키고, 네 입술을 거짓말하는 데서 지키라.
14 Depart from evil, and do good. Seek peace, and pursue it.Depart from evil, and do good; Seek peace, and pursue it.악에서 떠나 선을 행하라. 화평을 찾고, 그것을 좇으라.
15 Yahweh’s eyes are toward the righteous. His ears listen to their cry.The eyes of Jehovah are toward the righteous, And his ears are open unto their cry.여호와의 눈은 의로운 사람들을 향하시고, 그분의 귀는 그들의 부르짖음에 기울이신다.
16 Yahweh’s face is against those who do evil, to cut off their memory from the earth.The face of Jehovah is against them that do evil, To cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.여호와의 얼굴은 악을 행하는 사람들을 대적하시어, 그들의 기억을 땅에서 끊으신다.
17 The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles.The righteous cried, and Jehovah heard, And delivered them out of all their troubles.의로운 사람들이 부르짖으매 여호와께서 들으시고, 그들의 모든 환난에서 그들을 건지신다.
18 Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.Jehovah is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart, And saveth such as are of a contrite spirit.여호와께서는 마음이 상한 사람들에게 가까이 계시고, 영혼이 짓눌린 사람들을 구원하신다.
19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all.Many are the afflictions of the righteous; But Jehovah delivereth him out of them all.의로운 사람의 고난이 많으나, 여호와께서 그 모든 고난에서 그를 건지신다.
20 He protects all of his bones. Not one of them is broken.He keepeth all his bones: Not one of them is broken.그분이 그의 모든 뼈를 지키시니, 그 가운데 하나도 꺾이지 아니하리라.
21 Evil shall kill the wicked. Those who hate the righteous shall be condemned.Evil shall slay the wicked; And they that hate the righteous shall be condemned.악이 악인을 죽일 것이요, 의로운 사람을 미워하는 자들은 정죄를 받으리라.
22 Yahweh redeems the soul of his servants. None of those who take refuge in him shall be condemned.Jehovah redeemeth the soul of his servants; And none of them that take refuge in him shall be condemned.여호와께서 그분의 종들의 영혼을 구속하시니, 그분께 피하는 사람은 누구도 정죄를 받지 아니하리라.
