1 I lift up my eyes to you, you who sit in the heavens.Unto thee do I lift up mine eyes, O thou that sittest in the heavens.하늘에 앉아 계신 주여, 내가 주를 향하여 눈을 듭니다.
2 Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their master, as the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress, so our eyes look to Yahweh, our God, until he has mercy on us.Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their master, As the eyes of a maid unto the hand of her mistress; So our eyes look unto Jehovah our God, Until he have mercy upon us.종들의 눈이 그 주인의 손을 바라보듯, 여종의 눈이 그 여주인의 손을 바라보듯, 우리의 눈도 우리 하나님 여호와를 바라봅니다. 그분이 우리에게 긍휼을 베푸실 때까지 그렇게 바라봅니다.
3 Have mercy on us, Yahweh, have mercy on us, for we have endured much contempt.Have mercy upon us, O Jehovah, have mercy upon us; For we are exceedingly filled with contempt.여호와여, 우리에게 긍휼을 베푸소서. 우리에게 긍휼을 베푸소서. 우리가 너무도 많은 멸시를 견뎌 왔습니다.
