1 Yahweh, my God, I take refuge in you. Save me from all those who pursue me, and deliver me,O Jehovah my God, in thee do I take refuge: Save me from all them that pursue me, and deliver me,다윗이 베냐민 사람 구스의 말로 인하여 여호와께 부른 묵상의 노래. 여호와 나의 하나님, 내가 주께 피합니다. 나를 뒤쫓는 모든 자에게서 나를 구하시고 건져 주십시오.
2 lest they tear apart my soul like a lion, ripping it in pieces, while there is no one to deliver.Lest they tear my soul like a lion, Rending it in pieces, while there is none to deliver.그렇지 않으면 그들이 사자처럼 내 영혼을 갈가리 찢을 것이니, 건져 줄 자가 없을 때 산산조각 내고 말 것입니다.
3 Yahweh, my God, if I have done this, if there is iniquity in my hands,O Jehovah my God, if I have done this; If there be iniquity in my hands;여호와 나의 하나님, 만일 내가 이런 일을 행하였다면, 만일 내 손에 죄악이 있다면,
4 if I have rewarded evil to him who was at peace with me (yes, I have plundered him who without cause was my adversary),If I have rewarded evil unto him that was at peace with me (Yea, I have delivered him that without cause was mine adversary);만일 내가 나와 화목하던 자에게 악으로 갚았다면 (그렇습니다, 까닭 없이 내 원수가 된 자를 내가 오히려 건져 주었다면),
5 let the enemy pursue my soul, and overtake it; yes, let him tread my life down to the earth, and lay my glory in the dust. 6 Arise, Yahweh, in your anger. Lift up yourself against the rage of my adversaries. Awake for me. You have commanded judgment.Arise, O Jehovah, in thine anger; Lift up thyself against the rage of mine adversaries, And awake for me; thou hast commanded judgment.여호와여, 진노하심으로 일어나소서. 내 원수들의 분노를 막으시려 스스로 떨쳐 일어나소서. 나를 위하여 깨어나소서. 주께서 심판을 명령하셨습니다.
7 Let the congregation of the peoples surround you. Rule over them on high.And let the congregation of the peoples compass thee about; And over them return thou on high.뭇 백성의 회중이 주를 둘러서게 하시고, 높은 곳에서 그들을 다스리소서.
8 Yahweh administers judgment to the peoples. Judge me, Yahweh, according to my righteousness, and to my integrity that is in me.Jehovah ministereth judgment to the peoples: Judge me, O Jehovah, according to my righteousness, and to mine integrity that is in me.여호와께서 뭇 백성을 심판하십니다. 여호와여, 내 의를 따라, 내게 있는 정직함을 따라 나를 판단하소서.
9 Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end, but establish the righteous; their minds and hearts are searched by the righteous God.Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end, but establish thou the righteous: For the righteous God trieth the minds and hearts.악인의 악을 끝나게 하시고, 의인을 굳게 세우소서. 사람의 생각과 마음을 살피시는 분은 의로우신 하나님이십니다.
10 My shield is with God, who saves the upright in heart.My shield is with God, Who saveth the upright in heart.내 방패는 하나님께 있으니, 그분은 마음이 정직한 자를 구원하십니다.
11 God is a righteous judge, yes, a God who has indignation every day.God is a righteous judge, Yea, a God that hath indignation every day.하나님은 의로운 재판관이시며, 날마다 진노하시는 하나님이십니다.
12 If a man doesn’t repent, he will sharpen his sword; he has bent and strung his bow.If a man turn not, he will whet his sword; He hath bent his bow, and made it ready;사람이 돌이키지 않으면 그분은 칼을 가실 것입니다. 그분은 활을 당겨 시위를 메우셨습니다.
13 He has also prepared for himself the instruments of death. He makes ready his flaming arrows.He hath also prepared for him the instruments of death; He maketh his arrows fiery shafts.또한 자기를 위하여 죽음의 도구를 준비하시고, 불화살을 만드셨습니다.
14 Behold, he travails with iniquity. Yes, he has conceived mischief, and brought out falsehood.Behold, he travaileth with iniquity; Yea, he hath conceived mischief, and brought forth falsehood.보십시오, 악한 자가 죄악으로 산고를 겪어, 해악을 잉태하고 거짓을 낳았습니다.
15 He has dug a hole, and has fallen into the pit which he made.He hath made a pit, and digged it, And is fallen into the ditch which he made.그가 구덩이를 파고 깊이 팠으나, 자기가 만든 함정에 스스로 빠졌습니다.
16 The trouble he causes shall return to his own head. His violence shall come down on the crown of his own head.His mischief shall return upon his own head, And his violence shall come down upon his own pate.그가 끼친 재앙이 자기 머리로 되돌아가고, 그의 폭력이 자기 정수리로 떨어질 것입니다.
17 I will give thanks to Yahweh according to his righteousness, and will sing praise to the name of Yahweh Most High.I will give thanks unto Jehovah according to his righteousness, And will sing praise to the name of Jehovah Most High.나는 여호와의 의를 따라 그분께 감사드리며, 지극히 높으신 여호와의 이름을 찬송하겠습니다.
