1 To you, Yahweh, I lift up my soul.Unto thee, O Jehovah, do I lift up my soul.다윗의 시. 여호와여, 내가 주를 향하여 내 영혼을 들어 올립니다.
2 My God, I have trusted in you. Don’t let me be shamed. Don’t let my enemies triumph over me.O my God, in thee have I trusted, Let me not be put to shame; Let not mine enemies triumph over me.나의 하나님이여, 내가 주를 의지하였습니다. 내가 부끄러움을 당하지 않게 하시고, 내 원수들이 나를 이기고 기뻐하지 못하게 하소서.
3 Yes, no one who waits for you will be shamed. They will be shamed who deal treacherously without cause.Yea, none that wait for thee shall be put to shame: They shall be put to shame that deal treacherously without cause.진실로 주를 기다리는 자는 누구도 부끄러움을 당하지 않을 것입니다. 까닭 없이 배신하며 행하는 자들이 부끄러움을 당할 것입니다.
4 Show me your ways, Yahweh. Teach me your paths.Show me thy ways, O Jehovah; Teach me thy paths.여호와여, 주의 길을 내게 보여 주시고, 주의 도를 내게 가르쳐 주소서.
5 Guide me in your truth, and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation. I wait for you all day long.Guide me in thy truth, and teach me; For thou art the God of my salvation; For thee do I wait all the day.주의 진리 가운데로 나를 인도하시고 나를 가르치소서. 주는 내 구원의 하나님이시며, 내가 온종일 주를 기다립니다.
6 Yahweh, remember your tender mercies and your loving kindness, for they are from old times.Remember, O Jehovah, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindness; For they have been ever of old.여호와여, 주의 긍휼과 인자하심을 기억하소서. 그것들은 옛적부터 있었습니다.
7 Don’t remember the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions. Remember me according to your loving kindness, for your goodness’ sake, Yahweh.Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: According to thy lovingkindness remember thou me, For thy goodness’ sake, O Jehovah.내 젊은 시절의 죄와 내 허물들을 기억하지 마소서. 여호와여, 주의 인자하심을 따라, 주의 선하심을 위하여 나를 기억하소서.
8 Good and upright is Yahweh, therefore he will instruct sinners in the way.Good and upright is Jehovah: Therefore will he instruct sinners in the way.여호와는 선하시고 정직하시니, 그러므로 죄인들을 그 길로 가르치십니다.
9 He will guide the humble in justice. He will teach the humble his way.The meek will he guide in justice; And the meek will he teach his way.그분은 겸손한 자를 공의 가운데 인도하시며, 겸손한 자에게 자신의 길을 가르치십니다.
10 All the paths of Yahweh are loving kindness and truth to such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.All the paths of Jehovah are lovingkindness and truth Unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.여호와의 모든 길은 그의 언약과 증거들을 지키는 자들에게 인자와 진리입니다.
11 For your name’s sake, Yahweh, pardon my iniquity, for it is great.For thy name’s sake, O Jehovah, Pardon mine iniquity, for it is great.여호와여, 주의 이름을 위하여 내 죄악을 용서하소서. 그것이 크기 때문입니다.
12 What man is he who fears Yahweh? He shall instruct him in the way that he shall choose.What man is he that feareth Jehovah? Him shall he instruct in the way that he shall choose.여호와를 경외하는 사람이 누구입니까? 그분은 그가 택할 그 길로 그를 가르치실 것입니다.
13 His soul will dwell at ease. His offspring will inherit the land.His soul shall dwell at ease; And his seed shall inherit the land.그의 영혼은 평안히 거하고, 그의 후손은 땅을 물려받을 것입니다.
14 The friendship of Yahweh is with those who fear him. He will show them his covenant.The friendship of Jehovah is with them that fear him; And he will show them his covenant.여호와의 친밀하심은 그분을 경외하는 자들과 함께하시며, 그분은 그들에게 자신의 언약을 보여 주실 것입니다.
15 My eyes are ever on Yahweh, for he will pluck my feet out of the net.Mine eyes are ever toward Jehovah; For he will pluck my feet out of the net.내 눈은 항상 여호와를 향합니다. 그분이 내 발을 그물에서 빼내실 것이기 때문입니다.
16 Turn to me, and have mercy on me, for I am desolate and afflicted.Turn thee unto me, and have mercy upon me; For I am desolate and afflicted.내게로 돌이키사 나를 긍휼히 여기소서. 나는 외롭고 고통받고 있습니다.
17 The troubles of my heart are enlarged. Oh bring me out of my distresses.The troubles of my heart are enlarged: Oh bring thou me out of my distresses.내 마음의 괴로움이 커졌습니다. 오, 나를 내 고난에서 이끌어 내소서.
18 Consider my affliction and my travail. Forgive all my sins.Consider mine affliction and my travail; And forgive all my sins.내 고통과 수고를 살펴보시고, 내 모든 죄를 용서하소서.
19 Consider my enemies, for they are many. They hate me with cruel hatred.Consider mine enemies, for they are many; And they hate me with cruel hatred.내 원수들을 살펴보소서. 그들이 많고, 잔인한 미움으로 나를 미워합니다.
20 Oh keep my soul, and deliver me. Let me not be disappointed, for I take refuge in you.Oh keep my soul, and deliver me: Let me not be put to shame, for I take refuge in thee.오, 내 영혼을 지키시고 나를 건지소서. 내가 부끄러움을 당하지 않게 하소서. 내가 주께 피합니다.
