1 I waited patiently for Yahweh. He turned to me, and heard my cry.I waited patiently for Jehovah; And he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.(지휘자를 위한 노래. 다윗의 시.) 내가 여호와를 끈기 있게 기다렸더니, 그분이 내게 몸을 돌이켜 나의 부르짖음을 들으셨다.
2 He brought me up also out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay. He set my feet on a rock, and gave me a firm place to stand.He brought me up also out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay; And he set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.그분이 또한 나를 무서운 구덩이에서, 진흙 수렁에서 끌어올리시고, 내 발을 반석 위에 두시며 내 걸음을 든든하게 세워 주셨다.
3 He has put a new song in my mouth, even praise to our God. Many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in Yahweh.And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: Many shall see it, and fear, And shall trust in Jehovah.그분이 내 입에 새 노래, 곧 우리 하나님을 찬양하는 노래를 두셨으니, 많은 사람이 이것을 보고 두려워하며 여호와를 신뢰하게 되리라.
4 Blessed is the man who makes Yahweh his trust, and doesn’t respect the proud, nor such as turn away to lies.Blessed is the man that maketh Jehovah his trust, And respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.여호와를 자기의 신뢰로 삼고, 교만한 자들과 거짓으로 빗나가는 자들을 떠받들지 않는 사람은 복이 있다.
5 Many, Yahweh, my God, are the wonderful works which you have done, and your thoughts which are toward us. They can’t be declared back to you. If I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be counted.Many, O Jehovah my God, are the wonderful works which thou hast done, And thy thoughts which are to us-ward: They cannot be set in order unto thee; If I would declare and speak of them, They are more than can be numbered.여호와 나의 하나님이여, 주께서 행하신 놀라운 일들과 우리를 향하신 주의 생각들이 많고도 많아서, 주께 낱낱이 아뢸 수가 없습니다. 내가 그것들을 선포하고 말하려 해도, 그것들은 셀 수 있는 것보다 더 많습니다.
6 Sacrifice and offering you didn’t desire. You have opened my ears. You have not required burnt offering and sin offering.Sacrifice and offering thou hast no delight in; Mine ears hast thou opened: Burnt-offering and sin-offering hast thou not required.주께서는 제사와 예물을 기뻐하지 않으셨고, 내 귀를 열어 주셨으며, 번제와 속죄제를 요구하지 않으셨습니다.
7 Then I said, “ Behold, I have come. It is written about me in the book in the scroll.Then said I, Lo, I am come; In the roll of the book it is written of me:그때에 내가 말하였습니다. "보십시오, 내가 왔습니다. 두루마리 책에 나에 관하여 기록되어 있습니다.
8 I delight to do your will, my God. Yes, your law is within my heart.”I delight to do thy will, O my God; Yea, thy law is within my heart.나의 하나님이여, 나는 주의 뜻 행하기를 기뻐합니다. 그렇습니다, 주의 율법이 내 마음속에 있습니다."
9 I have proclaimed glad news of righteousness in the great assembly. Behold, I will not seal my lips, Yahweh, you know.I have proclaimed glad tidings of righteousness in the great assembly; Lo, I will not refrain my lips, O Jehovah, thou knowest.내가 큰 회중 가운데서 의의 기쁜 소식을 전하였습니다. 보십시오, 여호와여, 내가 내 입술을 봉하지 아니할 것을 주께서 아십니다.
10 I have not hidden your righteousness within my heart. I have declared your faithfulness and your salvation. I have not concealed your loving kindness and your truth from the great assembly.I have not hid thy righteousness within my heart; I have declared thy faithfulness and thy salvation; I have not concealed thy lovingkindness and thy truth from the great assembly.내가 주의 의를 내 마음속에 감추지 아니하였고, 주의 신실하심과 주의 구원을 선포하였으며, 주의 인자하심과 주의 진리를 큰 회중에게서 숨기지 아니하였습니다.
11 Don’t withhold your tender mercies from me, Yahweh. Let your loving kindness and your truth continually preserve me.Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O Jehovah; Let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me.여호와여, 주의 따뜻한 긍휼을 내게서 거두지 마시고, 주의 인자하심과 주의 진리로 나를 끊임없이 지켜 주십시오.
12 For innumerable evils have surrounded me. My iniquities have overtaken me, so that I am not able to look up. They are more than the hairs of my head. My heart has failed me.For innumerable evils have compassed me about; Mine iniquities have overtaken me, so that I am not able to look up; They are more than the hairs of my head; And my heart hath failed me.셀 수 없는 재앙이 나를 둘러쌌고, 나의 죄악들이 나를 따라잡아 내가 우러러볼 수도 없게 되었습니다. 그것들이 내 머리카락보다 더 많아서, 내 마음이 나를 떠나 버렸습니다.
13 Be pleased, Yahweh, to deliver me. Hurry to help me, Yahweh.Be pleased, O Jehovah, to deliver me: Make haste to help me, O Jehovah.여호와여, 기뻐하시며 나를 건져 주십시오. 여호와여, 서둘러 나를 도와주십시오.
14 Let them be disappointed and confounded together who seek after my soul to destroy it. Let them be turned backward and brought to dishonor who delight in my hurt.Let them be put to shame and confounded together That seek after my soul to destroy it: Let them be turned backward and brought to dishonor That delight in my hurt.내 영혼을 노리어 멸하려는 자들이 함께 수치를 당하고 당황하게 하시며, 내가 상하기를 기뻐하는 자들이 뒤로 물러나 부끄러움을 당하게 하십시오.
15 Let them be desolate by reason of their shame that tell me, “Aha! Aha!”Let them be desolate by reason of their shame That say unto me, Aha, aha.나에게 "아하! 아하!" 하고 말하는 자들이 자기들의 수치로 인하여 황폐하게 되게 하십시오.
16 Let all those who seek you rejoice and be glad in you. Let such as love your salvation say continually, “Let Yahweh be exalted!”Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: Let such as love thy salvation say continually, Jehovah be magnified.주를 찾는 모든 자가 주 안에서 기뻐하고 즐거워하게 하시며, 주의 구원을 사랑하는 자들이 "여호와는 높임을 받으소서!" 하고 끊임없이 말하게 하십시오.
17 But I am poor and needy. May the Lord think about me. You are my help and my deliverer. Don’t delay, my God.But I am poor and needy; Yet the Lord thinketh upon me: Thou art my help and my deliverer; Make no tarrying, O my God.그러나 나는 가난하고 궁핍합니다. 주께서 나를 생각해 주십시오. 주는 나의 도움이시요 나를 건지시는 분이십니다. 나의 하나님이여, 지체하지 마십시오.
