1 Why do the nations rage, and the peoples plot a vain thing?Why do the nations rage, And the peoples meditate a vain thing?어찌하여 민족들이 분노하며, 백성들이 헛된 일을 꾀하는가?
2 The kings of the earth take a stand, and the rulers take counsel together, against Yahweh, and against his Anointed, saying,The kings of the earth set themselves, And the rulers take counsel together, Against Jehovah, and against his anointed, saying,세상의 왕들이 들고일어나며, 통치자들이 함께 모의하여 여호와와 그분이 기름 부으신 이를 대적하며 이렇게 말한다.
3 “Let’s break their bonds apart, and cast their cords from us.”Let us break their bonds asunder, And cast away their cords from us."그들의 결박을 끊어 버리고, 그 줄을 우리에게서 벗어 던지자."
4 He who sits in the heavens will laugh. The Lord will have them in derision.He that sitteth in the heavens will laugh: The Lord will have them in derision.하늘에 앉으신 분이 웃으시리라. 주께서 그들을 비웃으시리라.
5 Then he will speak to them in his anger, and terrify them in his wrath:Then will he speak unto them in his wrath, And vex them in his sore displeasure:그때에 그분이 진노하시며 그들에게 말씀하시고, 격노하시며 그들을 떨게 하시리라.
6 “ Yet I have set my King on my holy hill of Zion.”Yet I have set my king Upon my holy hill of Zion."내가 친히 나의 거룩한 산 시온 위에 나의 왕을 세웠노라."
7 I will tell of the decree: Yahweh said to me, “ You are my son. Today I have become your father.I will tell of the decree: Jehovah said unto me, Thou art my son; This day have I begotten thee.내가 그 칙령을 전하리라. 여호와께서 내게 말씀하셨다. "너는 내 아들이라. 오늘 내가 너의 아버지가 되었노라.
8 Ask of me, and I will give the nations for your inheritance, the uttermost parts of the earth for your possession.Ask of me, and I will give thee the nations for thine inheritance, And the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.내게 구하라. 그러면 내가 민족들을 너의 유업으로 주고, 땅끝까지 너의 소유로 주리라.
9 You shall break them with a rod of iron. You shall dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.”Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; Thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.네가 그들을 철장으로 깨뜨리며, 토기장이의 그릇처럼 산산이 부수리라."
10 Now therefore be wise, you kings. Be instructed, you judges of the earth.Now therefore be wise, O ye kings: Be instructed, ye judges of the earth.그러므로 이제 너희 왕들아, 지혜를 얻으라. 세상의 재판관들아, 교훈을 받으라.
11 Serve Yahweh with fear, and rejoice with trembling.Serve Jehovah with fear, And rejoice with trembling.두려움으로 여호와를 섬기고, 떨며 즐거워하라.
12 Give sincere homage to the Son, lest he be angry, and you perish on the way, for his wrath will soon be kindled. Blessed are all those who take refuge in him.Kiss the son, lest he be angry, and ye perish in the way, For his wrath will soon be kindled. Blessed are all they that take refuge in him.아들에게 진심으로 경배를 드리라. 그렇지 않으면 그분이 진노하셔서, 너희가 길에서 멸망하리니, 그분의 진노가 곧 타오를 것임이라. 그분께 피하는 모든 자는 복이 있도다.
