1 God, you are my God. I will earnestly seek you. My soul thirsts for you. My flesh longs for you, in a dry and weary land, where there is no water.O God, thou art my God; earnestly will I seek thee: My soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee, In a dry and weary land, where no water is.다윗이 유다 광야에 있을 때에 지은 시. 하나님이여, 주는 나의 하나님이십니다. 내가 간절히 주를 찾겠습니다. 내 영혼이 주를 목말라 하며, 물이 없어 마르고 메마른 땅에서 내 육신이 주를 사모합니다.
2 So I have seen you in the sanctuary, watching your power and your glory.So have I looked upon thee in the sanctuary, To see thy power and thy glory.그리하여 내가 성소에서 주를 바라보며 주의 능력과 영광을 보았습니다.
3 Because your loving kindness is better than life, my lips shall praise you.Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, My lips shall praise thee.주의 인자하심이 생명보다 나으므로 내 입술이 주를 찬양하겠습니다.
4 So I will bless you while I live. I will lift up my hands in your name.So will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.그러므로 내가 살아 있는 동안 주를 송축하며, 주의 이름으로 내 손을 들겠습니다.
5 My soul shall be satisfied as with the richest food. My mouth shall praise you with joyful lips,My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; And my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips;내 영혼이 가장 기름진 음식을 먹은 것처럼 만족하겠고, 내 입이 기쁜 입술로 주를 찬양하겠습니다.
6 when I remember you on my bed, and think about you in the night watches.When I remember thee upon my bed, And meditate on thee in the night-watches.내가 잠자리에서 주를 기억하며 밤이 깊도록 주를 깊이 생각할 때에 그러합니다.
7 For you have been my help. I will rejoice in the shadow of your wings.For thou hast been my help, And in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.주께서 나의 도움이 되셨기에, 내가 주의 날개 그늘 아래에서 즐거워하겠습니다.
8 My soul stays close to you. Your right hand holds me up.My soul followeth hard after thee: Thy right hand upholdeth me.내 영혼이 주께 바싹 붙어 따르니, 주의 오른손이 나를 붙드십니다.
9 But those who seek my soul to destroy it shall go into the lower parts of the earth.But those that seek my soul, to destroy it, Shall go into the lower parts of the earth.그러나 내 영혼을 노려 멸하려는 자들은 땅 깊은 곳으로 내려갈 것입니다.
10 They shall be given over to the power of the sword. They shall be jackal food.They shall be given over to the power of the sword: They shall be a portion for foxes.그들은 칼의 권세에 넘겨질 것이며, 승냥이의 먹이가 될 것입니다.
11 But the king shall rejoice in God. Everyone who swears by him will praise him, for the mouth of those who speak lies shall be silenced.But the king shall rejoice in God: Every one that sweareth by him shall glory; For the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped.그러나 왕은 하나님 안에서 즐거워할 것입니다. 주를 두고 맹세하는 자마다 주를 찬양할 것이니, 거짓말하는 자들의 입은 막힐 것이기 때문입니다.
