1 Praise Yah! Praise, you servants of Yahweh, praise Yahweh’s name.Praise ye Jehovah. Praise, O ye servants of Jehovah, Praise the name of Jehovah.여호와를 찬양하라! 여호와의 종들아, 찬양하라. 여호와의 이름을 찬양하라.
2 Blessed be Yahweh’s name, from this time forward and forever more.Blessed be the name of Jehovah From this time forth and for evermore.여호와의 이름이 이제부터 영원토록 송축을 받으시기를 바란다.
3 From the rising of the sun to its going down, Yahweh’s name is to be praised.From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same Jehovah’s name is to be praised.해가 떠오르는 곳에서부터 해가 지는 곳까지, 여호와의 이름이 찬양을 받으시기에 합당하다.
4 Yahweh is high above all nations, his glory above the heavens.Jehovah is high above all nations, And his glory above the heavens.여호와께서는 모든 나라보다 높이 계시고, 그분의 영광은 하늘보다 높으시다.
5 Who is like Yahweh, our God, who has his seat on high,Who is like unto Jehovah our God, That hath his seat on high,우리 하나님 여호와와 같은 분이 누구이겠는가? 높은 곳에 자리를 두고 계신 분,
6 who stoops down to see in heaven and in the earth?That humbleth himself to behold The things that are in heaven and in the earth?하늘과 땅에 있는 것을 보시려고 몸을 굽혀 살피시는 분이시다.
7 He raises up the poor out of the dust, and lifts up the needy from the ash heap,He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, And lifteth up the needy from the dunghill;그분은 가난한 사람을 흙먼지에서 일으키시고, 궁핍한 사람을 잿더미에서 들어 올리셔서,
8 that he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people.That he may set him with princes, Even with the princes of his people.귀족들과 함께, 곧 자기 백성의 귀족들과 함께 앉게 하신다.
9 He settles the barren woman in her home as a joyful mother of children. Praise Yah!He maketh the barren woman to keep house, And to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye Jehovah.그분은 자식 없는 여인을 집안에 자리 잡게 하시어, 자녀를 둔 기쁜 어머니가 되게 하신다. 여호와를 찬양하라!
