1 Yahweh is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? Yahweh is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid?Jehovah is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? Jehovah is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?다윗의 시. 여호와는 나의 빛이요 나의 구원이시니, 내가 누구를 두려워하랴? 여호와는 내 생명의 힘이시니, 내가 누구를 무서워하랴?
2 When evildoers came at me to eat up my flesh, even my adversaries and my foes, they stumbled and fell.When evil-doers came upon me to eat up my flesh, Even mine adversaries and my foes, they stumbled and fell.악을 행하는 자들이 내 살을 삼키려고 내게 달려들 때, 곧 나의 대적과 원수들이 그리할 때, 그들이 도리어 비틀거리며 넘어졌습니다.
3 Though an army should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear. Though war should rise against me, even then I will be confident.Though a host should encamp against me, My heart shall not fear: Though war should rise against me, Even then will I be confident.군대가 나를 치려고 진을 친다 해도 내 마음은 두려워하지 않으며, 전쟁이 나를 향해 일어난다 해도 그때에도 나는 흔들리지 않을 것입니다.
4 One thing I have asked of Yahweh, that I will seek after: that I may dwell in Yahweh’s house all the days of my life, to see Yahweh’s beauty, and to inquire in his temple.One thing have I asked of Jehovah, that will I seek after: That I may dwell in the house of Jehovah all the days of my life, To behold the beauty of Jehovah, And to inquire in his temple.내가 여호와께 한 가지를 구했으니, 바로 이것을 간절히 바랍니다. 내 평생의 모든 날에 여호와의 집에 거하며, 여호와의 아름다움을 바라보고, 그분의 성전에서 여쭙는 것입니다.
5 For in the day of trouble, he will keep me secretly in his pavilion. In the secret place of his tabernacle, he will hide me. He will lift me up on a rock.For in the day of trouble he will keep me secretly in his pavilion: In the covert of his tabernacle will he hide me; He will lift me up upon a rock.환난의 날에 그분께서 나를 그분의 처소에 은밀히 두시고, 그분의 장막 깊은 곳에 나를 숨기시며, 나를 반석 위에 높이 올려 주실 것입니다.
6 Now my head will be lifted up above my enemies around me. I will offer sacrifices of joy in his tent. I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to Yahweh.And now shall my head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me; And I will offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto Jehovah.이제 내 머리가 나를 둘러싼 원수들 위로 높이 들릴 것입니다. 내가 그분의 장막에서 기쁨의 제사를 드리고, 노래하며, 그렇습니다, 여호와께 찬송을 부르겠습니다.
7 Hear, Yahweh, when I cry with my voice. Have mercy also on me, and answer me.Hear, O Jehovah, when I cry with my voice: Have mercy also upon me, and answer me.여호와여, 내가 소리 높여 부르짖을 때 들어 주소서. 또한 내게 긍휼을 베푸시고 응답해 주소서.
8 When you said, “ Seek my face,” my heart said to you, “ I will seek your face, Yahweh.”When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, Jehovah, will I seek.주께서 "내 얼굴을 찾으라" 하실 때, 내 마음이 주께 아뢰었습니다. "여호와여, 내가 주의 얼굴을 찾겠습니다."
9 Don’t hide your face from me. Don’t put your servant away in anger. You have been my help. Don’t abandon me, neither forsake me, God of my salvation.Hide not thy face from me; Put not thy servant away in anger: Thou hast been my help; Cast me not off, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation.주의 얼굴을 내게서 숨기지 마소서. 분노로 주의 종을 물리치지 마소서. 주께서 나의 도움이 되어 주셨으니, 나를 버리지 마시고 떠나지 마소서, 내 구원의 하나님이시여.
10 When my father and my mother forsake me, then Yahweh will take me up.When my father and my mother forsake me, Then Jehovah will take me up.내 아버지와 내 어머니가 나를 버린다 해도, 여호와께서는 나를 거두어 주실 것입니다.
11 Teach me your way, Yahweh. Lead me in a straight path, because of my enemies.Teach me thy way, O Jehovah; And lead me in a plain path, Because of mine enemies.여호와여, 주의 길을 내게 가르쳐 주소서. 내 원수들 때문에 나를 평탄한 길로 인도해 주소서.
12 Don’t deliver me over to the desire of my adversaries, for false witnesses have risen up against me, such as breathe out cruelty.Deliver me not over unto the will of mine adversaries: For false witnesses are risen up against me, And such as breathe out cruelty.나를 내 대적들의 뜻에 넘기지 마소서. 거짓 증인들이 나를 치려고 일어났으며, 잔혹함을 내뿜는 자들이 일어났기 때문입니다.
13 I am still confident of this: I will see the goodness of Yahweh in the land of the living.I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of Jehovah In the land of the living.그러나 나는 여전히 이것을 확신합니다. 산 자들의 땅에서 내가 여호와의 선하심을 보리라는 것입니다.
14 Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh.Wait for Jehovah: Be strong, and let thy heart take courage; Yea, wait thou for Jehovah.여호와를 기다리라. 강하고 담대하라, 네 마음이 용기를 내게 하라. 그렇다, 여호와를 기다리라.
