1 Hear my prayer, Yahweh. Listen to my petitions. In your faithfulness and righteousness, relieve me.Hear my prayer, O Jehovah; give ear to my supplications: In thy faithfulness answer me, and in thy righteousness.다윗의 시. 여호와여, 내 기도를 들으시고 내 간구에 귀를 기울이소서. 주의 신실하심과 의로우심으로 나를 건져 주소서.
2 Don’t enter into judgment with your servant, for in your sight no man living is righteous.And enter not into judgment with thy servant; For in thy sight no man living is righteous.주의 종을 심판에 부치지 마소서. 주 앞에서는 살아 있는 사람 가운데 의로운 자가 하나도 없습니다.
3 For the enemy pursues my soul. He has struck my life down to the ground. He has made me live in dark places, as those who have been long dead.For the enemy hath persecuted my soul; He hath smitten my life down to the ground: He hath made me to dwell in dark places, as those that have been long dead.원수가 내 영혼을 뒤쫓아 내 생명을 땅에 짓밟고, 오래전에 죽은 자들처럼 나를 어둠 속에 살게 하였습니다.
4 Therefore my spirit is overwhelmed within me. My heart within me is desolate.Therefore is my spirit overwhelmed within me; My heart within me is desolate.그러므로 내 영이 내 속에서 짓눌리고, 내 마음이 내 안에서 황폐해졌습니다.
5 I remember the days of old. I meditate on all your doings. I contemplate the work of your hands.I remember the days of old; I meditate on all thy doings; I muse on the work of thy hands.내가 옛날을 기억하며 주께서 행하신 모든 일을 묵상하고, 주의 손으로 하신 일을 깊이 생각합니다.
6 I spread out my hands to you. My soul thirsts for you, like a parched land. Selah.I spread forth my hands unto thee: My soul thirsteth after thee, as a weary land. [ Selah내가 주를 향해 두 손을 펼치니, 메마른 땅처럼 내 영혼이 주를 갈망합니다. (셀라)
7 Hurry to answer me, Yahweh. My spirit fails. Don’t hide your face from me, so that I don’t become like those who go down into the pit.Make haste to answer me, O Jehovah; my spirit faileth: Hide not thy face from me, Lest I become like them that go down into the pit.여호와여, 속히 내게 응답하소서. 내 영이 쇠하여 갑니다. 주의 얼굴을 내게서 숨기지 마소서. 그리하면 내가 구덩이에 내려가는 자들처럼 되지 않으리이다.
8 Cause me to hear your loving kindness in the morning, for I trust in you. Cause me to know the way in which I should walk, for I lift up my soul to you.Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; For in thee do I trust: Cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; For I lift up my soul unto thee.아침에 주의 인자하심을 듣게 하소서. 내가 주를 신뢰하나이다. 내가 걸어야 할 길을 알게 하소서. 내가 주를 향해 내 영혼을 들어 올립니다.
9 Deliver me, Yahweh, from my enemies. I flee to you to hide me.Deliver me, O Jehovah, from mine enemies: I flee unto thee to hide me.여호와여, 내 원수들에게서 나를 건지소서. 내가 주께로 피하여 숨나이다.
10 Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. Your Spirit is good. Lead me in the land of uprightness.Teach me to do thy will; For thou art my God: Thy Spirit is good; Lead me in the land of uprightness.주의 뜻 행하기를 내게 가르치소서. 주는 나의 하나님이십니다. 주의 영은 선하시니, 평탄한 땅으로 나를 인도하소서.
11 Revive me, Yahweh, for your name’s sake. In your righteousness, bring my soul out of trouble.Quicken me, O Jehovah, for thy name’s sake: In thy righteousness bring my soul out of trouble.여호와여, 주의 이름을 위하여 나를 살리소서. 주의 의로우심으로 내 영혼을 환난에서 이끌어 내소서.
12 In your loving kindness, cut off my enemies, and destroy all those who afflict my soul, for I am your servant.And in thy lovingkindness cut off mine enemies, And destroy all them that afflict my soul; For I am thy servant.주의 인자하심으로 내 원수들을 끊으시고, 내 영혼을 괴롭히는 자들을 다 멸하소서. 나는 주의 종입니다.
