1 Yahweh, don’t rebuke me in your wrath, neither chasten me in your hot displeasure.O Jehovah, rebuke me not in thy wrath; Neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.다윗의 시. 기념을 위한 노래. 여호와여, 진노하시며 나를 책망하지 마시고, 격노하시며 나를 징계하지 마소서.
2 For your arrows have pierced me, your hand presses hard on me.For thine arrows stick fast in me, And thy hand presseth me sore.주의 화살이 나를 깊이 찔렀고, 주의 손이 나를 무겁게 누르십니다.
3 There is no soundness in my flesh because of your indignation, neither is there any health in my bones because of my sin.There is no soundness in my flesh because of thine indignation; Neither is there any health in my bones because of my sin.주의 진노 때문에 내 살에는 성한 곳이 없고, 내 죄 때문에 내 뼈에는 평안이 없습니다.
4 For my iniquities have gone over my head. As a heavy burden, they are too heavy for me.For mine iniquities are gone over my head: As a heavy burden they are too heavy for me.내 죄악이 내 머리 위로 넘쳤고, 무거운 짐처럼 내가 감당하기에 너무 무겁습니다.
5 My wounds are loathsome and corrupt because of my foolishness.My wounds are loathsome and corrupt, Because of my foolishness.내 어리석음 때문에 내 상처가 곪고 썩어 들어갑니다.
6 I am in pain and bowed down greatly. I go mourning all day long.I am pained and bowed down greatly; I go mourning all the day long.내가 심히 아파하며 몸을 깊이 구부리고, 온종일 슬퍼하며 다닙니다.
7 For my waist is filled with burning. There is no soundness in my flesh.For my loins are filled with burning; And there is no soundness in my flesh.내 허리에는 타는 듯한 통증이 가득하고, 내 살에는 성한 곳이 없습니다.
8 I am faint and severely bruised. I have groaned by reason of the anguish of my heart.I am faint and sore bruised: I have groaned by reason of the disquietness of my heart.내가 기진하여 심하게 상하였고, 마음의 괴로움 때문에 신음합니다.
9 Lord, all my desire is before you. My groaning is not hidden from you.Lord, all my desire is before thee; And my groaning is not hid from thee.주여, 내 모든 갈망이 주 앞에 있고, 내 신음이 주께 숨겨지지 않습니다.
10 My heart throbs. My strength fails me. As for the light of my eyes, it has also left me.My heart throbbeth, my strength faileth me: As for the light of mine eyes, it also is gone from me.내 심장이 두근거리고 내 힘이 다 빠졌으며, 내 눈의 빛마저 나를 떠났습니다.
11 My lovers and my friends stand aloof from my plague. My kinsmen stand far away.My lovers and my friends stand aloof from my plague; And my kinsmen stand afar off.내가 사랑하는 이들과 친구들이 내 재앙을 보고 멀찍이 떨어져 서고, 내 친척들도 멀리 떨어져 섭니다.
12 They also who seek after my life lay snares. Those who seek my hurt speak mischievous things, and meditate deceits all day long.They also that seek after my life lay snares for me; And they that seek my hurt speak mischievous things, And meditate deceits all the day long.내 생명을 노리는 자들이 올무를 놓고, 나를 해치려는 자들이 악담을 늘어놓으며, 온종일 속임수를 꾸밉니다.
13 But I, as a deaf man, don’t hear. I am as a mute man who doesn’t open his mouth.But I, as a deaf man, hear not; And I am as a dumb man that openeth not his mouth.그러나 나는 듣지 못하는 사람처럼 듣지 않고, 입을 열지 못하는 벙어리처럼 잠잠합니다.
14 Yes, I am as a man who doesn’t hear, in whose mouth are no reproofs.Yea, I am as a man that heareth not, And in whose mouth are no reproofs.참으로 나는 듣지 못하는 사람 같고, 그 입에 항변할 말이 없는 사람 같습니다.
15 For I hope in you, Yahweh. You will answer, Lord my God.For in thee, O Jehovah, do I hope: Thou wilt answer, O Lord my God.여호와여, 내가 주를 바라기 때문입니다. 주 나의 하나님이여, 주께서 응답하실 것입니다.
16 For I said, “Don’t let them gloat over me, or exalt themselves over me when my foot slips.”For I said, Lest they rejoice over me: When my foot slippeth, they magnify themselves against me.내가 말하였습니다. "내 발이 미끄러질 때에, 그들이 나를 보고 기뻐하거나 나를 보고 우쭐대지 못하게 하소서."
17 For I am ready to fall. My pain is continually before me.For I am ready to fall, And my sorrow is continually before me.나는 곧 쓰러질 지경이고, 내 고통이 끊임없이 내 앞에 있습니다.
18 For I will declare my iniquity. I will be sorry for my sin.For I will declare mine iniquity; I will be sorry for my sin.내가 내 죄악을 자백하고, 내 죄를 슬퍼하겠습니다.
19 But my enemies are vigorous and many. Those who hate me without reason are numerous.But mine enemies are lively, and are strong; And they that hate me wrongfully are multiplied.그러나 내 원수들은 기운차고 강하며, 까닭 없이 나를 미워하는 자들이 많습니다.
20 They who give evil for good are also adversaries to me, because I follow what is good.They also that render evil for good Are adversaries unto me, because I follow the thing that is good.선을 악으로 갚는 자들이 나를 대적하니, 이는 내가 선한 것을 따르기 때문입니다.
21 Don’t forsake me, Yahweh. My God, don’t be far from me.Forsake me not, O Jehovah: O my God, be not far from me.여호와여, 나를 버리지 마소서. 나의 하나님이여, 나를 멀리하지 마소서.
22 Hurry to help me, Lord, my salvation.Make haste to help me, O Lord, my salvation.주 나의 구원이시여, 속히 나를 도우소서.
