1 Answer me when I call, God of my righteousness. Give me relief from my distress. Have mercy on me, and hear my prayer.Answer me when I call, O God of my righteousness; Thou hast set me at large when I was in distress: Have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer.지휘자를 위하여, 현악기에 맞춘 노래. 다윗의 시. 내가 부르짖을 때에 응답하소서, 나의 의가 되시는 하나님이여. 나의 괴로움에서 벗어나게 하소서. 나에게 긍휼을 베푸시고 나의 기도를 들어 주소서.
2 You sons of men, how long shall my glory be turned into dishonor? Will you love vanity and seek after falsehood? Selah.O ye sons of men, how long shall my glory be turned into dishonor? How long will ye love vanity, and seek after falsehood? [Selah사람들아, 너희가 어느 때까지 나의 영광을 욕되게 하려느냐? 어느 때까지 헛된 것을 사랑하고 거짓을 좇으려느냐? (셀라)
3 But know that Yahweh has set apart for himself him who is godly; Yahweh will hear when I call to him.But know that Jehovah hath set apart for himself him that is godly: Jehovah will hear when I call unto him.그러나 여호와께서 경건한 자를 자기를 위하여 따로 세우신 줄을 알아라. 내가 부르짖을 때에 여호와께서 들으시리라.
4 Stand in awe, and don’t sin. Search your own heart on your bed, and be still. Selah.Stand in awe, and sin not: Commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. [Selah두려워 떨며 죄를 짓지 말아라. 잠자리에서 너희 마음을 살피고 잠잠하여라. (셀라)
5 Offer the sacrifices of righteousness. Put your trust in Yahweh.Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, And put your trust in Jehovah.의의 제사를 드리고 여호와를 의지하여라.
6 Many say, “ Who will show us any good?” Yahweh, let the light of your face shine on us.Many there are that say, Who will show us any good? Jehovah, lift thou up the light of thy countenance upon us.많은 사람들이 "누가 우리에게 복을 보여 주겠는가?" 하고 말합니다. 여호와여, 주의 얼굴의 빛을 우리 위에 비추어 주소서.
7 You have put gladness in my heart, more than when their grain and their new wine are increased.Thou hast put gladness in my heart, More than they have when their grain and their new wine are increased.주께서 내 마음에 기쁨을 주셨으니, 그들의 곡식과 새 포도주가 풍성할 때보다 더 큽니다.
8 In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you alone, Yahweh, make me live in safety.In peace will I both lay me down and sleep; For thou, Jehovah, alone makest me dwell in safety.내가 평안히 눕고 또 잠들겠습니다. 여호와여, 오직 주께서 나를 안전히 살게 하시기 때문입니다.
