1 I will extol you, Yahweh, for you have raised me up, and have not made my foes to rejoice over me.I will extol thee, O Jehovah; for thou hast raised me up, And hast not made my foes to rejoice over me.성전 봉헌을 위한 다윗의 시, 노래. 여호와여, 내가 주를 높이겠습니다. 주께서 나를 일으켜 세우시고, 내 원수들이 나를 두고 기뻐 날뛰지 못하게 하셨기 때문입니다.
2 Yahweh my God, I cried to you, and you have healed me.O Jehovah my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.여호와 나의 하나님이여, 내가 주께 부르짖었더니 주께서 나를 고쳐 주셨습니다.
3 Yahweh, you have brought up my soul from Sheol. You have kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.O Jehovah, thou hast brought up my soul from Sheol; Thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.여호와여, 주께서 내 영혼을 스올에서 끌어올리셨고, 내가 구덩이로 내려가지 않도록 나를 살려 두셨습니다.
4 Sing praise to Yahweh, you saints of his. Give thanks to his holy name.Sing praise unto Jehovah, O ye saints of his, And give thanks to his holy memorial name.여호와의 성도들이여, 그분께 찬송하여라. 그분의 거룩하신 이름에 감사를 드려라.
5 For his anger is but for a moment. His favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may stay for the night, but joy comes in the morning.For his anger is but for a moment; His favor is for a life-time: Weeping may tarry for the night, But joy cometh in the morning.그분의 진노는 잠깐이지만, 그분의 은총은 한평생 가기 때문이다. 저녁에는 울음이 깃들어도, 아침에는 기쁨이 찾아온다.
6 As for me, I said in my prosperity, “ I shall never be moved.”As for me, I said in my prosperity, I shall never be moved.나는 형통할 때에 "나는 결코 흔들리지 않으리라" 하고 말했습니다.
7 You, Yahweh, when you favored me, made my mountain stand strong; but when you hid your face, I was troubled.Thou, Jehovah, of thy favor hadst made my mountain to stand strong: Thou didst hide thy face; I was troubled.여호와여, 주께서 은혜를 베푸셨을 때에는 내 산을 굳게 세우셨으나, 주께서 얼굴을 숨기시니 내가 두려움에 빠졌습니다.
8 I cried to you, Yahweh. I made supplication to the Lord:I cried to thee, O Jehovah; And unto Jehovah I made supplication:여호와여, 내가 주께 부르짖었습니다. 여호와께 내가 간구하였습니다.
9 “What profit is there in my destruction, if I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise you? Shall it declare your truth?What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise thee? shall it declare thy truth?"내가 죽어 구덩이로 내려간다면 무슨 유익이 있겠습니까? 흙먼지가 주를 찬양하겠습니까? 그것이 주의 진리를 전하겠습니까?
10 Hear, Yahweh, and have mercy on me. Yahweh, be my helper.”Hear, O Jehovah, and have mercy upon me: Jehovah, be thou my helper.여호와여, 들으시고 나를 긍휼히 여겨 주십시오. 여호와여, 나를 돕는 분이 되어 주십시오."
11 You have turned my mourning into dancing for me. You have removed my sackcloth, and clothed me with gladness,Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing; Thou hast loosed my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;주께서 나의 슬픔을 춤으로 바꾸어 주셨습니다. 내 베옷을 벗기시고 기쁨으로 띠 띠우셨습니다.
12 to the end that my heart may sing praise to you, and not be silent. Yahweh my God, I will give thanks to you forever!To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O Jehovah my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.이는 내 마음이 주께 찬송하며 잠잠하지 않게 하시려는 것입니다. 여호와 나의 하나님이여, 내가 영원토록 주께 감사를 드리겠습니다!
