Psalms 55장

1 Listen to my prayer, God. Don’t hide yourself from my supplication.Give ear to my prayer, O God; And hide not thyself from my supplication.지휘자를 위하여. 현악기에 맞춘 노래. 다윗의 마스길. 하나님, 내 기도에 귀 기울여 주십시오. 내 간구를 외면하지 말아 주십시오.

2 Attend to me, and answer me. I am restless in my complaint, and moanAttend unto me, and answer me: I am restless in my complaint, and moan,나를 살펴 주시고 응답해 주십시오. 나는 근심 가운데 잠 못 이루며 신음하고 있습니다.

3 because of the voice of the enemy, because of the oppression of the wicked. For they bring suffering on me. In anger they hold a grudge against me.Because of the voice of the enemy, Because of the oppression of the wicked; For they cast iniquity upon me, And in anger they persecute me.원수의 목소리 때문에, 악한 자의 억압 때문입니다. 그들이 나에게 고통을 안기며, 분노에 차서 나를 원망합니다.

4 My heart is severely pained within me. The terrors of death have fallen on me.My heart is sore pained within me: And the terrors of death are fallen upon me.내 마음이 속에서 심히 아프고, 죽음의 공포가 나를 덮쳤습니다.

5 Fearfulness and trembling have come on me. Horror has overwhelmed me.Fearfulness and trembling are come upon me, And horror hath overwhelmed me.두려움과 떨림이 나에게 밀려오고, 무서움이 나를 휩쓸었습니다.

6 I said, “Oh that I had wings like a dove! Then I would fly away, and be at rest.And I said, Oh that I had wings like a dove! Then would I fly away, and be at rest.내가 말하기를, "아, 나에게 비둘기 같은 날개가 있다면! 멀리 날아가 쉴 수 있으련만.

7 Behold, then I would wander far off. I would lodge in the wilderness.” Selah.Lo, then would I wander far off, I would lodge in the wilderness. [Selah보라, 그러면 나는 멀리 떠돌아, 광야에 머물 텐데." (셀라)

8 “ I would hurry to a shelter from the stormy wind and storm.”I would haste me to a shelter From the stormy wind and tempest."사나운 바람과 폭풍을 피해 피난처로 서둘러 가련만."

9 Confuse them, Lord, and confound their language, for I have seen violence and strife in the city.Destroy, O Lord, and divide their tongue; For I have seen violence and strife in the city.주님, 그들을 혼란스럽게 하시고 그들의 말을 뒤섞어 주십시오. 내가 이 성읍 안에서 폭력과 다툼을 보았기 때문입니다.

10 Day and night they prowl around on its walls. Malice and abuse are also within her.Day and night they go about it upon the walls thereof: Iniquity also and mischief are in the midst of it.그들은 밤낮으로 성벽 위를 돌아다니고, 성 안에는 악의와 학대가 가득합니다.

11 Destructive forces are within her. Threats and lies don’t depart from her streets.Wickedness is in the midst thereof: Oppression and guile depart not from its streets.파괴하는 세력이 그 성 안에 있고, 협박과 거짓이 그 거리에서 떠나지 않습니다.

12 For it was not an enemy who insulted me, then I could have endured it. Neither was it he who hated me who raised himself up against me, then I would have hidden myself from him.For it was not an enemy that reproached me; Then I could have borne it: Neither was it he that hated me that did magnify himself against me; Then I would have hid myself from him:나를 모욕한 것이 원수였다면, 내가 참을 수 있었을 것입니다. 나를 향해 들고일어난 것이 나를 미워하는 자였다면, 내가 그를 피해 숨었을 것입니다.

13 But it was you, a man like me, my companion, and my familiar friend.But it was thou, a man mine equal, My companion, and my familiar friend.그러나 그것은 바로 너, 나와 같은 사람, 나의 동료요 가까운 친구였다.

14 We took sweet fellowship together. We walked in God’s house with company.We took sweet counsel together; We walked in the house of God with the throng.우리는 함께 달콤한 사귐을 나누었고, 무리와 더불어 하나님의 집을 거닐었다.

15 Let death come suddenly on them. Let them go down alive into Sheol. For wickedness is among them, in their dwelling.Let death come suddenly upon them, Let them go down alive into Sheol; For wickedness is in their dwelling, in the midst of them.죽음이 그들에게 갑자기 닥치게 하시고, 그들이 산 채로 스올에 내려가게 하십시오. 악함이 그들의 거처에, 그들 한가운데에 있기 때문입니다.

16 As for me, I will call on God. Yahweh will save me.As for me, I will call upon God; And Jehovah will save me.그러나 나는 하나님을 부르겠습니다. 여호와께서 나를 구원하실 것입니다.

17 Evening, morning, and at noon, I will cry out in distress. He will hear my voice.Evening, and morning, and at noonday, will I complain, and moan; And he will hear my voice.저녁에도 아침에도 한낮에도 내가 괴로움 가운데 부르짖겠으니, 그분이 내 목소리를 들으실 것입니다.

18 He has redeemed my soul in peace from the battle that was against me, although there are many who oppose me.He hath redeemed my soul in peace from the battle that was against me; For they were many that strove with me.그분은 나를 대적한 싸움에서 내 영혼을 평안히 건져 내셨습니다. 나를 거스르는 자가 많을지라도 그러하셨습니다.

19 God, who is enthroned forever, will hear and answer them. Selah. They never change and don’t fear God.God will hear, and answer them, Even he that abideth of old, [Selah The men who have no changes, And who fear not God.영원토록 보좌에 앉아 계신 하나님께서 들으시고 그들에게 응답하실 것입니다. (셀라) 결코 변하지 않는 자들, 하나님을 두려워하지 않는 자들입니다.

20 He raises his hands against his friends. He has violated his covenant.He hath put forth his hands against such as were at peace with him: He hath profaned his covenant.그는 자기와 화목하던 자들에게 손을 들었고, 자기 언약을 깨뜨렸습니다.

21 His mouth was smooth as butter, but his heart was war. His words were softer than oil, yet they were drawn swords.His mouth was smooth as butter, But his heart was war: His words were softer than oil, Yet were they drawn swords.그의 입은 버터처럼 매끄러웠으나 그의 마음은 전쟁이었고, 그의 말은 기름보다 부드러웠으나 실은 뽑힌 칼이었습니다.

22 Cast your burden on Yahweh and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved.Cast thy burden upon Jehovah, and he will sustain thee: He will never suffer the righteous to be moved.네 짐을 여호와께 맡기라. 그분이 너를 붙드시며, 의인이 흔들리도록 결코 두지 않으실 것이다.

23 But you, God, will bring them down into the pit of destruction. Bloodthirsty and deceitful men shall not live out half their days, but I will trust in you.But thou, O God, wilt bring them down into the pit of destruction: Bloodthirsty and deceitful men shall not live out half their days; But I will trust in thee.그러나 하나님, 주께서 그들을 멸망의 구덩이로 떨어뜨리실 것입니다. 피 흘리기를 즐기며 속이는 자들은 그들의 날의 절반도 살지 못할 것입니다. 그러나 나는 주님을 신뢰하겠습니다.
