1 Praise Yahweh! Give thanks to Yahweh, for he is good, for his loving kindness endures forever.Praise ye Jehovah. Oh give thanks unto Jehovah; for he is good; For his lovingkindness endureth for ever.여호와를 찬양하라! 여호와께 감사하라, 그분은 선하시며 그분의 인자하심이 영원하다.
2 Who can utter the mighty acts of Yahweh, or fully declare all his praise?Who can utter the mighty acts of Jehovah, Or show forth all his praise?누가 여호와의 능하신 일을 다 말할 수 있으며, 누가 그분께 드릴 찬양을 온전히 선포할 수 있겠는가?
3 Blessed are those who keep justice. Blessed is one who does what is right at all times.Blessed are they that keep justice, And he that doeth righteousness at all times.공의를 지키는 사람들은 복이 있고, 언제나 옳은 일을 행하는 사람은 복이 있다.
4 Remember me, Yahweh, with the favor that you show to your people. Visit me with your salvation,Remember me, O Jehovah, with the favor that thou bearest unto thy people; Oh visit me with thy salvation,여호와여, 주의 백성에게 베푸시는 은혜로 나를 기억하시고, 주의 구원으로 나를 돌아보소서.
5 that I may see the prosperity of your chosen, that I may rejoice in the gladness of your nation, that I may glory with your inheritance.That I may see the prosperity of thy chosen, That I may rejoice in the gladness of thy nation, That I may glory with thine inheritance.그리하여 내가 주께서 택하신 자들의 번영을 보고, 주의 나라의 기쁨 가운데 즐거워하며, 주의 기업과 함께 영광을 누리게 하소서.
6 We have sinned with our fathers. We have committed iniquity. We have done wickedly.We have sinned with our fathers, We have committed iniquity, we have done wickedly.우리가 우리 조상들과 함께 죄를 지었으며, 우리가 불의를 행하였고, 우리가 악하게 행하였습니다.
7 Our fathers didn’t understand your wonders in Egypt. They didn’t remember the multitude of your loving kindnesses, but were rebellious at the sea, even at the Red Sea.Our fathers understood not thy wonders in Egypt; They remembered not the multitude of thy lovingkindnesses, But were rebellious at the sea, even at the Red Sea.우리 조상들은 이집트에서 주께서 행하신 기이한 일들을 깨닫지 못하였고, 주의 많은 인자하심을 기억하지 못한 채, 바다 곧 홍해에서 거역하였습니다.
8 Nevertheless he saved them for his name’s sake, that he might make his mighty power known.Nevertheless he saved them for his name’s sake, That he might make his mighty power to be known.그럼에도 그분은 자기 이름을 위하여 그들을 구원하셨으니, 자신의 크신 능력을 알리려 하심이었다.
9 He rebuked the Red Sea also, and it was dried up; so he led them through the depths, as through a desert.He rebuked the Red Sea also, and it was dried up: So he led them through the depths, as through a wilderness.그분은 또한 홍해를 꾸짖으시니 바다가 말랐고, 그리하여 그들을 광야를 지나듯 깊은 바다 가운데로 인도하셨다.
10 He saved them from the hand of him who hated them, and redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.And he saved them from the hand of him that hated them, And redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.그분은 그들을 미워하는 자의 손에서 그들을 구원하시고, 원수의 손에서 그들을 속량하셨다.

13 They soon forgot his works. They didn’t wait for his counsel,They soon forgat his works; They waited not for his counsel,그러나 그들은 곧 그분이 행하신 일들을 잊어버리고, 그분의 교훈을 기다리지 않았다.
14 but gave in to craving in the desert, and tested God in the wasteland.But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, And tempted God in the desert.도리어 광야에서 탐욕에 빠졌고, 황무지에서 하나님을 시험하였다.

20 Thus they exchanged their glory for an image of a bull that eats grass.Thus they changed their glory For the likeness of an ox that eateth grass.이처럼 그들은 자기들의 영광을, 풀을 뜯는 소의 형상과 바꾸었다.
21 They forgot God, their Savior, who had done great things in Egypt,They forgat God their Saviour, Who had done great things in Egypt,그들은 자기들의 구원자이신 하나님을 잊어버렸으니, 그분은 이집트에서 큰 일을 행하신 분이며,
22 wondrous works in the land of Ham, and awesome things by the Red Sea.Wondrous works in the land of Ham, And terrible things by the Red Sea.함 땅에서 놀라운 일을 행하시고, 홍해에서 두려운 일을 행하신 분이었다.
23 Therefore he said that he would destroy them, had Moses, his chosen, not stood before him in the breach, to turn away his wrath, so that he wouldn’t destroy them.Therefore he said that he would destroy them, Had not Moses his chosen stood before him in the breach, To turn away his wrath, lest he should destroy them.그러므로 그분이 그들을 멸하겠다고 말씀하셨으나, 그분이 택하신 모세가 그분 앞 무너진 틈에 서서 그 진노를 돌이키지 않았더라면, 그들이 멸망하였을 것이다.
24 Yes, they despised the pleasant land. They didn’t believe his word,Yea, they despised the pleasant land, They believed not his word,또한 그들은 그 아름다운 땅을 멸시하였고, 그분의 말씀을 믿지 않았으며,
25 but murmured in their tents, and didn’t listen to Yahweh’s voice.But murmured in their tents, And hearkened not unto the voice of Jehovah.자기들의 장막에서 원망하고, 여호와의 음성에 귀 기울이지 않았다.
26 Therefore he swore to them that he would overthrow them in the wilderness,Therefore he sware unto them, That he would overthrow them in the wilderness,그러므로 그분이 그들을 향해 맹세하시기를, 그들을 광야에서 엎드러지게 하시며,
27 that he would overthrow their offspring among the nations, and scatter them in the lands.And that he would overthrow their seed among the nations, And scatter them in the lands.또한 그들의 후손을 뭇 나라 가운데 엎드러지게 하시고, 여러 땅으로 흩으시겠다고 하셨다.
28 They joined themselves also to Baal Peor, and ate the sacrifices of the dead.They joined themselves also unto Baal-peor, And ate the sacrifices of the dead.그들은 또한 바알브올과 결합하여, 죽은 자들에게 바친 제물을 먹었다.
29 Thus they provoked him to anger with their deeds. The plague broke in on them.Thus they provoked him to anger with their doings; And the plague brake in upon them.이렇게 그들은 자기들의 행위로 그분을 진노케 하였고, 그들 가운데 재앙이 닥쳤다.

31 That was credited to him for righteousness, for all generations to come.And that was reckoned unto him for righteousness, Unto all generations for evermore.그것이 그에게 의로 인정되었으니, 오는 모든 세대에 이르도록 그러하였다.
32 They angered him also at the waters of Meribah, so that Moses was troubled for their sakes;They angered him also at the waters of Meribah, So that it went ill with Moses for their sakes;그들은 또한 므리바 물가에서 그분을 노엽게 하여, 모세가 그들 때문에 곤욕을 치렀다.

35 but mixed themselves with the nations, and learned their works.But mingled themselves with the nations, And learned their works,도리어 뭇 나라와 섞이며 그들의 행위를 배웠다.
36 They served their idols, which became a snare to them.And served their idols, Which became a snare unto them.그들은 그들의 우상들을 섬겼으니, 그것들이 그들에게 올무가 되었다.
37 Yes, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters to demons.Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto demons,그렇다, 그들은 자기들의 아들들과 딸들을 귀신들에게 제물로 바쳤다.
38 They shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan. The land was polluted with blood.And shed innocent blood, Even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, Whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan; And the land was polluted with blood.그들은 무죄한 피, 곧 자기들의 아들들과 딸들의 피를 흘려, 가나안의 우상들에게 제물로 바쳤으니, 그 땅이 피로 더럽혀졌다.
39 Thus they were defiled with their works, and prostituted themselves in their deeds.Thus were they defiled with their works, And played the harlot in their doings.이렇게 그들은 자기들의 행위로 더러워졌고, 자기들의 행실로 음행하였다.
40 Therefore Yahweh burned with anger against his people. He abhorred his inheritance.Therefore was the wrath of Jehovah kindled against his people, And he abhorred his inheritance.그러므로 여호와께서 자기 백성을 향하여 진노로 타오르셨고, 자기 기업을 미워하셨다.
41 He gave them into the hand of the nations. Those who hated them ruled over them.And he gave them into the hand of the nations; And they that hated them ruled over them.그분은 그들을 뭇 나라의 손에 넘기시니, 그들을 미워하는 자들이 그들을 다스렸다.
42 Their enemies also oppressed them. They were brought into subjection under their hand.Their enemies also oppressed them, And they were brought into subjection under their hand.그들의 원수들이 또한 그들을 압제하니, 그들이 그 손 아래 복종하게 되었다.
43 He rescued them many times, but they were rebellious in their counsel, and were brought low in their iniquity.Many times did he deliver them; But they were rebellious in their counsel, And were brought low in their iniquity.여러 번 그분이 그들을 건지셨으나, 그들은 자기들의 뜻으로 거역하여, 자기들의 죄악으로 낮아졌다.

45 He remembered for them his covenant, and repented according to the multitude of his loving kindnesses.And he remembered for them his covenant, And repented according to the multitude of his lovingkindnesses.그분은 그들을 위하여 자기 언약을 기억하시고, 그 많은 인자하심을 따라 마음을 돌이키셨다.
46 He made them also to be pitied by all those who carried them captive.He made them also to be pitied Of all those that carried them captive.또한 그분은 그들을 사로잡아 간 모든 자들에게서 그들이 긍휼히 여김을 받게 하셨다.
47 Save us, Yahweh, our God, gather us from among the nations, to give thanks to your holy name, to triumph in your praise!Save us, O Jehovah our God, And gather us from among the nations, To give thanks unto thy holy name, And to triumph in thy praise.여호와 우리 하나님이여, 우리를 구원하시고 뭇 나라 가운데서 우리를 모으셔서, 우리가 주의 거룩한 이름에 감사하고 주의 찬양 가운데 승리하게 하소서!
48 Blessed be Yahweh, the God of Israel, from everlasting even to everlasting! Let all the people say, “Amen.” Praise Yah!Blessed be Jehovah, the God of Israel, From everlasting even to everlasting. And let all the people say, Amen. Praise ye Jehovah.이스라엘의 하나님 여호와를 영원부터 영원까지 찬송하라! 모든 백성은 "아멘" 하고 말하라. 여호와를 찬양하라!
