1 In you, Yahweh, I take refuge. Let me never be disappointed. Deliver me in your righteousness.In thee, O Jehovah, do I take refuge; Let me never be put to shame: Deliver me in thy righteousness.지휘자를 위하여. 다윗의 시. 여호와여, 내가 주께 피합니다. 내가 결코 부끄러움을 당하지 않게 하시고, 주의 의로 나를 건져 주십시오.
2 Bow down your ear to me. Deliver me speedily. Be to me a strong rock, a house of defense to save me.Bow down thine ear unto me; deliver me speedily: Be thou to me a strong rock, A house of defence to save me.주의 귀를 내게 기울이시고, 어서 나를 건져 주십시오. 나를 위한 든든한 바위가 되시고, 나를 구원하실 방어의 집이 되어 주십시오.
3 For you are my rock and my fortress, therefore for your name’s sake lead me and guide me.For thou art my rock and my fortress; Therefore for thy name’s sake lead me and guide me.주는 나의 바위시요 나의 요새시니, 주의 이름을 위하여 나를 인도하시고 이끌어 주십시오.
4 Pluck me out of the net that they have laid secretly for me, for you are my stronghold.Pluck me out of the net that they have laid privily for me; For thou art my stronghold.그들이 나를 잡으려고 몰래 쳐 놓은 그물에서 나를 빼내어 주십시오. 주는 나의 피난처이십니다.
5 Into your hand I commend my spirit. You redeem me, Yahweh, God of truth.Into thy hand I commend my spirit: Thou hast redeemed me, O Jehovah, thou God of truth.내 영혼을 주의 손에 맡깁니다. 여호와여, 진리의 하나님이시여, 주께서 나를 구속하셨습니다.
6 I hate those who regard lying vanities, but I trust in Yahweh.I hate them that regard lying vanities; But I trust in Jehovah.거짓되고 헛된 우상을 섬기는 자들을 나는 미워하지만, 나는 여호와를 신뢰합니다.
7 I will be glad and rejoice in your loving kindness, for you have seen my affliction. You have known my soul in adversities.I will be glad and rejoice in thy lovingkindness; For thou hast seen my affliction: Thou hast known my soul in adversities;내가 주의 인자하심을 인하여 기뻐하고 즐거워할 것입니다. 주께서 나의 고난을 보시고, 환난 가운데 있는 내 영혼을 아셨기 때문입니다.
8 You have not shut me up into the hand of the enemy. You have set my feet in a large place.And thou hast not shut me up into the hand of the enemy; Thou hast set my feet in a large place.주께서 나를 원수의 손에 가두지 아니하시고, 내 발을 넓은 곳에 세우셨습니다.
9 Have mercy on me, Yahweh, for I am in distress. My eye, my soul, and my body waste away with grief.Have mercy upon me, O Jehovah, for I am in distress: Mine eye wasteth away with grief, yea, my soul and my body.여호와여, 내게 긍휼을 베풀어 주십시오. 내가 괴로움 가운데 있습니다. 내 눈과 내 영혼과 내 몸이 슬픔으로 쇠하여 갑니다.
10 For my life is spent with sorrow, my years with sighing. My strength fails because of my iniquity. My bones are wasted away.For my life is spent with sorrow, And my years with sighing: My strength faileth because of mine iniquity, And my bones are wasted away.내 삶이 슬픔으로 다하고, 내 세월이 탄식으로 지나갑니다. 내 죄악 때문에 내 힘이 빠지고, 내 뼈가 쇠하여 갑니다.
11 Because of all my adversaries I have become utterly contemptible to my neighbors, a horror to my acquaintances. Those who saw me on the street fled from me.Because of all mine adversaries I am become a reproach, Yea, unto my neighbors exceedingly, And a fear to mine acquaintance: They that did see me without fled from me.나의 모든 대적들 때문에 나는 이웃에게 심히 멸시받는 자가 되었고, 나를 아는 자들에게 두려움이 되었습니다. 거리에서 나를 본 자들이 나를 피해 달아났습니다.
12 I am forgotten from their hearts like a dead man. I am like broken pottery.I am forgotten as a dead man out of mind: I am like a broken vessel.나는 죽은 사람처럼 그들의 마음에서 잊혀졌고, 깨어진 그릇과 같이 되었습니다.
13 For I have heard the slander of many, terror on every side, while they conspire together against me, they plot to take away my life.For I have heard the defaming of many, Terror on every side: While they took counsel together against me, They devised to take away my life.많은 사람의 비방을 내가 들었습니다. 사방이 두려움입니다. 그들이 함께 나를 대적하여 모의하며, 내 목숨을 빼앗으려 꾀합니다.
14 But I trust in you, Yahweh. I said, “ You are my God.”But I trusted in thee, O Jehovah: I said, Thou art my God.그러나 여호와여, 나는 주를 신뢰합니다. 내가 말합니다. "주는 나의 하나님이십니다."
15 My times are in your hand. Deliver me from the hand of my enemies, and from those who persecute me.My times are in thy hand: Deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me.내 모든 때가 주의 손에 있습니다. 내 원수들의 손에서, 나를 핍박하는 자들에게서 나를 건져 주십시오.
16 Make your face to shine on your servant. Save me in your loving kindness.Make thy face to shine upon thy servant: Save me in thy lovingkindness.주의 얼굴을 주의 종에게 비추시고, 주의 인자하심으로 나를 구원하여 주십시오.
17 Let me not be disappointed, Yahweh, for I have called on you. Let the wicked be disappointed. Let them be silent in Sheol.Let me not be put to shame, O Jehovah; for I have called upon thee: Let the wicked be put to shame, let them be silent in Sheol.여호와여, 내가 주를 불렀사오니 나로 부끄러움을 당하지 않게 하시고, 악한 자들이 부끄러움을 당하게 하시며, 그들이 스올에서 잠잠하게 하십시오.
18 Let the lying lips be mute, which speak against the righteous insolently, with pride and contempt.Let the lying lips be dumb, Which speak against the righteous insolently, With pride and contempt.거짓을 말하는 입술이 잠잠하게 하십시오. 그것은 교만과 멸시로 의인을 거슬러 무례하게 말하는 입술입니다.
19 Oh how great is your goodness, which you have laid up for those who fear you, which you have worked for those who take refuge in you, before the sons of men!Oh how great is thy goodness, Which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee, Which thou hast wrought for them that take refuge in thee, Before the sons of men!주를 경외하는 자들을 위하여 쌓아 두신 주의 선하심이 어찌 그리 큰지요! 주께 피하는 자들을 위하여 사람들의 자손들 앞에서 주께서 베푸신 선하심이 어찌 그리 큰지요!
20 In the shelter of your presence you will hide them from the plotting of man. You will keep them secretly in a dwelling away from the strife of tongues.In the covert of thy presence wilt thou hide them from the plottings of man: Thou wilt keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.주께서 주의 임재의 은밀한 곳에 그들을 숨기사 사람들의 음모에서 보호하시며, 혀의 다툼에서 멀리 떨어진 장막에 그들을 은밀히 지켜 주십니다.
21 Praise be to Yahweh, for he has shown me his marvelous loving kindness in a strong city.Blessed be Jehovah; For he hath showed me his marvellous lovingkindness in a strong city.여호와를 찬송합니다. 견고한 성에서 주께서 내게 그 놀라운 인자하심을 보여 주셨기 때문입니다.
22 As for me, I said in my haste, “ I am cut off from before your eyes.” Nevertheless you heard the voice of my petitions when I cried to you.As for me, I said in my haste, I am cut off from before thine eyes: Nevertheless thou heardest the voice of my supplications, When I cried unto thee.나는 다급한 가운데 말하기를 "내가 주의 눈앞에서 끊어졌다" 하였으나, 내가 주께 부르짖었을 때에 주께서 내 간구하는 소리를 들으셨습니다.
23 Oh love Yahweh, all you his saints! Yahweh preserves the faithful, and fully recompenses him who behaves arrogantly.Oh love Jehovah, all ye his saints: Jehovah preserveth the faithful, And plentifully rewardeth him that dealeth proudly.주의 모든 성도들아, 여호와를 사랑하라! 여호와께서 신실한 자를 보호하시고, 교만하게 행하는 자에게는 충분히 갚으십니다.
24 Be strong, and let your heart take courage, all you who hope in Yahweh.Be strong, and let your heart take courage, All ye that hope in Jehovah.여호와를 바라는 너희들아, 강하고 담대하라!
