1 Hear us, Shepherd of Israel, you who lead Joseph like a flock, you who sit above the cherubim, shine out.Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, Thou that leadest Joseph like a flock; Thou that sittest above the cherubim, shine forth.음악 인도자를 위하여, "언약의 백합화"라는 곡조에 맞춘 아삽의 시. 이스라엘의 목자시여, 우리에게 귀를 기울이소서. 요셉을 양 떼처럼 인도하시는 분이여, 그룹들 위에 앉아 계신 분이여, 빛을 비추소서.
2 Before Ephraim, Benjamin, and Manasseh, stir up your might! Come to save us!Before Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh, stir up thy might, And come to save us.에브라임과 베냐민과 므낫세 앞에서 주의 능력을 떨치시고, 우리를 구원하러 오소서.
3 Turn us again, God. Cause your face to shine, and we will be saved.Turn us again, O God; And cause thy face to shine, and we shall be saved.하나님, 우리를 돌이키시고, 주의 얼굴을 비추소서. 그리하면 우리가 구원을 얻겠습니다.
4 Yahweh God of Armies, how long will you be angry against the prayer of your people?O Jehovah God of hosts, How long wilt thou be angry against the prayer of thy people?만군의 여호와 하나님, 주의 백성의 기도를 향하여 언제까지 노하시겠습니까?
5 You have fed them with the bread of tears, and given them tears to drink in large measure.Thou hast fed them with the bread of tears, And given them tears to drink in large measure.주께서 그들에게 눈물의 빵을 먹이시고, 눈물을 가득히 마시게 하셨습니다.
6 You make us a source of contention to our neighbors. Our enemies laugh among themselves.Thou makest us a strife unto our neighbors; And our enemies laugh among themselves.주께서 우리를 우리 이웃들의 다툼거리로 삼으시니, 우리 원수들이 자기들끼리 비웃습니다.
7 Turn us again, God of Armies. Cause your face to shine, and we will be saved.Turn us again, O God of hosts; And cause thy face to shine, and we shall be saved.만군의 하나님, 우리를 돌이키시고, 주의 얼굴을 비추소서. 그리하면 우리가 구원을 얻겠습니다.
8 You brought a vine out of Egypt. You drove out the nations, and planted it.Thou broughtest a vine out of Egypt: Thou didst drive out the nations, and plantedst it.주께서 한 포도나무를 이집트에서 옮겨 오셨습니다. 주께서 이방 민족들을 쫓아내시고, 그 나무를 심으셨습니다.
9 You cleared the ground for it. It took deep root, and filled the land.Thou preparedst room before it, And it took deep root, and filled the land.주께서 그 나무를 위하여 땅을 일구셨습니다. 그 나무가 깊이 뿌리를 내려 그 땅에 가득 찼습니다.
10 The mountains were covered with its shadow. Its boughs were like God’s cedars.The mountains were covered with the shadow of it, And the boughs thereof were like cedars of God.그 그늘이 산들을 덮었고, 그 가지들은 하나님의 백향목 같았습니다.
11 It sent out its branches to the sea, its shoots to the River.It sent out its branches unto the sea, And its shoots unto the River.그 나무가 가지를 바다까지 뻗었고, 그 새순을 강까지 뻗었습니다.
12 Why have you broken down its walls, so that all those who pass by the way pluck it?Why hast thou broken down its walls, So that all they that pass by the way do pluck it?어찌하여 주께서 그 나무의 담을 허무셔서, 길을 지나가는 모든 사람이 그 열매를 따게 하셨습니까?
13 The boar out of the wood ravages it. The wild animals of the field feed on it.The boar out of the wood doth ravage it, And the wild beasts of the field feed on it.숲에서 나온 멧돼지가 그 나무를 짓밟고, 들짐승들이 그것을 뜯어 먹습니다.
14 Turn again, we beg you, God of Armies. Look down from heaven, and see, and visit this vine,Turn again, we beseech thee, O God of hosts: Look down from heaven, and behold, and visit this vine,만군의 하나님, 간구하오니 돌아오소서. 하늘에서 굽어보시고, 보시고, 이 포도나무를 돌보소서.
15 the stock which your right hand planted, the branch that you made strong for yourself.And the stock which thy right hand planted, And the branch that thou madest strong for thyself.주의 오른손이 심으신 그 줄기를, 주를 위하여 주께서 강하게 키우신 그 가지를 돌보소서.
16 It’s burned with fire. It’s cut down. They perish at your rebuke.It is burned with fire, it is cut down: They perish at the rebuke of thy countenance.그것이 불에 타고, 잘렸습니다. 그들이 주의 꾸짖으심에 멸망합니다.
17 Let your hand be on the man of your right hand, on the son of man whom you made strong for yourself.Let thy hand be upon the man of thy right hand, Upon the son of man whom thou madest strong for thyself.주의 손을 주의 오른편에 있는 사람 위에, 주를 위하여 주께서 강하게 키우신 그 인자 위에 두소서.
18 So we will not turn away from you. Revive us, and we will call on your name.So shall we not go back from thee: Quicken thou us, and we will call upon thy name.그리하면 우리가 주에게서 돌아서지 않겠습니다. 우리를 살리소서. 그리하면 우리가 주의 이름을 부르겠습니다.
