1 Give thanks to Yahweh! Call on his name! Make his doings known among the peoples.Oh give thanks unto Jehovah, call upon his name; Make known among the peoples his doings.여호와께 감사하라! 그분의 이름을 부르라! 그분이 하신 일을 뭇 백성 가운데 알리라.
2 Sing to him, sing praises to him! Tell of all his marvelous works.Sing unto him, sing praises unto him; Talk ye of all his marvellous works.그분께 노래하라, 그분께 찬송하라! 그분의 모든 놀라운 일들을 이야기하라.
3 Glory in his holy name. Let the heart of those who seek Yahweh rejoice.Glory ye in his holy name: Let the heart of them rejoice that seek Jehovah.그분의 거룩한 이름을 자랑하라. 여호와를 찾는 이들의 마음은 기뻐할지어다.
4 Seek Yahweh and his strength. Seek his face forever more.Seek ye Jehovah and his strength; Seek his face evermore.여호와와 그분의 능력을 구하라. 그분의 얼굴을 영원토록 찾으라.
5 Remember his marvelous works that he has done: his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth,Remember his marvellous works that he hath done, His wonders, and the judgments of his mouth,그분이 행하신 놀라운 일들과 그분의 기이한 일들과 그분의 입의 판단을 기억하라.
6 you offspring of Abraham, his servant, you children of Jacob, his chosen ones.O ye seed of Abraham his servant, Ye children of Jacob, his chosen ones.그분의 종 아브라함의 후손이여, 그분이 택하신 야곱의 자손이여.
7 He is Yahweh, our God. His judgments are in all the earth.He is Jehovah our God: His judgments are in all the earth.그분은 여호와, 우리 하나님이시니, 그분의 판단이 온 땅에 미친다.
8 He has remembered his covenant forever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations,He hath remembered his covenant for ever, The word which he commanded to a thousand generations,그분은 자신의 언약을 영원히 기억하시며, 천 대에 명하신 그 말씀을 기억하셨으니,
9 the covenant which he made with Abraham, his oath to Isaac,The covenant which he made with Abraham, And his oath unto Isaac,곧 아브라함과 맺으신 언약이요, 이삭에게 하신 맹세이며,
10 and confirmed it to Jacob for a statute; to Israel for an everlasting covenant,And confirmed the same unto Jacob for a statute, To Israel for an everlasting covenant,야곱에게는 율례로 굳게 세우시고, 이스라엘에게는 영원한 언약으로 삼으셨다.
11 saying, “ To you I will give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance,”Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, The lot of your inheritance;이르시기를 "내가 가나안 땅을 네게 주어 너희가 받을 유업의 몫이 되게 하리라" 하셨다.
12 when they were but a few men in number, yes, very few, and foreigners in it.When they were but a few men in number, Yea, very few, and sojourners in it.그때에 그들은 수가 적은 사람들, 정말 얼마 안 되는 자들이었고, 그 땅에서 나그네였다.
13 They went about from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another people.And they went about from nation to nation, From one kingdom to another people.그들은 이 민족에서 저 민족으로, 한 나라에서 다른 백성에게로 떠돌아다녔다.
14 He allowed no one to do them wrong. Yes, he reproved kings for their sakes,He suffered no man to do them wrong; Yea, he reproved kings for their sakes,그분은 아무도 그들을 해치지 못하게 하셨고, 오히려 그들을 위하여 왕들을 꾸짖으시며,
15 “Don’t touch my anointed ones! Do my prophets no harm!”Saying, Touch not mine anointed ones, And do my prophets no harm."내 기름 부음 받은 자들을 건드리지 말라! 내 선지자들을 해치지 말라!" 하셨다.
16 He called for a famine on the land. He destroyed the food supplies.And he called for a famine upon the land; He brake the whole staff of bread.그분이 그 땅에 기근을 부르시고, 양식의 공급을 끊으셨다.

18 They bruised his feet with shackles. His neck was locked in irons,His feet they hurt with fetters: He was laid in chains of iron,사람들이 차꼬로 그의 발을 상하게 하고, 그의 목은 쇠사슬에 묶였으니,
19 until the time that his word happened, and Yahweh’s word proved him true.Until the time that his word came to pass, The word of Jehovah tried him.그의 말이 이루어질 때까지, 여호와의 말씀이 그를 단련하여 참됨을 입증하셨다.
20 The king sent and freed him, even the ruler of peoples, and let him go free.The king sent and loosed him; Even the ruler of peoples, and let him go free.왕이 사람을 보내어 그를 풀어 주었으니, 뭇 백성의 통치자가 그를 자유롭게 놓아주었다.
21 He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all of his possessions,He made him lord of his house, And ruler of all his substance;그를 자기 집의 주관자로 삼고, 자기 모든 소유의 다스리는 자로 세웠으니,
22 to discipline his princes at his pleasure, and to teach his elders wisdom.To bind his princes at his pleasure, And teach his elders wisdom.그가 왕의 신하들을 자기 뜻대로 다스리고, 원로들에게 지혜를 가르치게 하였다.

33 He struck their vines and also their fig trees, and shattered the trees of their country.He smote their vines also and their fig-trees, And brake the trees of their borders.그분이 그들의 포도나무와 무화과나무를 치시고, 그들 지경의 나무들을 꺾으셨다.

35 They ate up every plant in their land, and ate up the fruit of their ground.And did eat up every herb in their land, And did eat up the fruit of their ground.그들의 땅의 모든 풀을 먹어 버리고, 그들의 밭의 열매를 먹어 버렸다.
36 He struck also all the firstborn in their land, the first fruits of all their manhood.He smote also all the first-born in their land, The chief of all their strength.그분이 또 그들의 땅의 모든 맏아들, 곧 그들의 모든 힘의 첫 열매를 치셨다.

43 He brought his people out with joy, his chosen with singing.And he brought forth his people with joy, And his chosen with singing.그분이 자기 백성을 기쁨으로 인도해 내시고, 택하신 자들을 노래로 이끌어 내셨다.
44 He gave them the lands of the nations. They took the labor of the peoples in possession,And he gave them the lands of the nations; And they took the labor of the peoples in possession:그분이 그들에게 뭇 나라의 땅을 주셨으니, 그들이 뭇 백성이 수고한 것을 차지하게 하셨다.
45 that they might keep his statutes, and observe his laws. Praise Yah!That they might keep his statutes, And observe his laws. Praise ye Jehovah.이는 그들이 그분의 율례를 지키고 그분의 법을 준행하게 하려 하심이라. 여호와를 찬양하라!
