1 Blessed be Yahweh, my rock, who trains my hands to war, and my fingers to battle —Blessed be Jehovah my rock, Who teacheth my hands to war, And my fingers to fight:다윗의 시. 나의 반석이신 여호와를 찬송합니다. 그분은 내 손에 싸움을 가르치시고 내 손가락에 전투를 익히게 하십니다.
2 my loving kindness, my fortress, my high tower, my deliverer, my shield, and he in whom I take refuge, who subdues my people under me.My lovingkindness, and my fortress, My high tower, and my deliverer; My shield, and he in whom I take refuge; Who subdueth my people under me.그분은 나의 인자하심이요 나의 요새이며 나의 산성이요 나를 건지시는 분이십니다. 나의 방패이시며 내가 피하여 의지하는 분이시니, 내 백성을 내 아래 복종하게 하십니다.
3 Yahweh, what is man, that you care for him? Or the son of man, that you think of him?Jehovah, what is man, that thou takest knowledge of him? Or the son of man, that thou makest account of him?여호와여, 사람이 무엇이기에 그를 돌보시며, 인생이 무엇이기에 그를 생각하십니까?
4 Man is like a breath. His days are like a shadow that passes away.Man is like to vanity: His days are as a shadow that passeth away.사람은 한 번의 숨결 같고, 그의 날들은 지나가는 그림자 같습니다.
5 Part your heavens, Yahweh, and come down. Touch the mountains, and they will smoke.Bow thy heavens, O Jehovah, and come down: Touch the mountains, and they shall smoke.여호와여, 주의 하늘을 가르고 내려오십시오. 산들을 만지시면 연기가 피어오를 것입니다.
6 Throw out lightning, and scatter them. Send out your arrows, and rout them.Cast forth lightning, and scatter them; Send out thine arrows, and discomfit them.번개를 던져 그들을 흩으시고, 주의 화살을 쏘아 그들을 물리치십시오.
7 Stretch out your hand from above, rescue me, and deliver me out of great waters, out of the hands of foreigners,Stretch forth thy hand from above; Rescue me, and deliver me out of great waters, Out of the hand of aliens;위에서 주의 손을 펴서 나를 구하시고, 깊은 물과 이방 사람들의 손에서 나를 건져 주십시오.
8 whose mouths speak deceit, whose right hand is a right hand of falsehood.Whose mouth speaketh deceit, And whose right hand is a right hand of falsehood.그들의 입은 거짓을 말하고, 그들의 오른손은 거짓의 오른손입니다.
9 I will sing a new song to you, God. On a ten-stringed lyre, I will sing praises to you.I will sing a new song unto thee, O God: Upon a psaltery of ten strings will I sing praises unto thee.하나님이여, 내가 주께 새 노래를 부르겠습니다. 열 줄 비파로 주를 찬양하겠습니다.
10 You are he who gives salvation to kings, who rescues David, his servant, from the deadly sword.Thou art he that giveth salvation unto kings; Who rescueth David his servant from the hurtful sword.주는 왕들에게 구원을 베푸시는 분이시며, 주의 종 다윗을 죽음의 칼에서 건지시는 분이십니다.
11 Rescue me, and deliver me out of the hands of foreigners, whose mouths speak deceit, whose right hand is a right hand of falsehood.Rescue me, and deliver me out of the hand of aliens, Whose mouth speaketh deceit, And whose right hand is a right hand of falsehood.나를 구하시고 이방 사람들의 손에서 나를 건져 주십시오. 그들의 입은 거짓을 말하고, 그들의 오른손은 거짓의 오른손입니다.
12 Then our sons will be like well-nurtured plants, our daughters like pillars carved to adorn a palace.When our sons shall be as plants grown up in their youth, And our daughters as corner-stones hewn after the fashion of a palace;그리하면 우리 아들들은 잘 자란 나무 같고, 우리 딸들은 궁전을 장식하려고 다듬은 기둥 같을 것입니다.
13 Our barns are full, filled with all kinds of provision. Our sheep produce thousands and ten thousands in our fields.When our garners are full, affording all manner of store, And our sheep bring forth thousands and ten thousands in our fields;우리 곳간은 가득 차서 온갖 양식이 넘치고, 우리 양 떼는 들에서 천천 만만으로 번성할 것입니다.
14 Our oxen will pull heavy loads. There is no breaking in, and no going away, and no outcry in our streets.When our oxen are well laden; When there is no breaking in, and no going forth, And no outcry in our streets:우리 소들은 무거운 짐을 끌고, 침입도 없고 빼앗김도 없으며, 우리 거리에는 부르짖는 소리가 없을 것입니다.
15 Happy are the people who are in such a situation. Happy are the people whose God is Yahweh.Happy is the people that is in such a case; Yea, happy is the people whose God is Jehovah.이런 형편에 있는 백성은 복이 있습니다. 여호와를 자기 하나님으로 삼은 백성은 복이 있습니다.
