1 As the deer pants for the water brooks, so my soul pants after you, God.As the hart panteth after the water brooks, So panteth my soul after thee, O God.지휘자를 위한 노래, 고라 자손의 묵상시. 사슴이 시냇물을 찾아 헐떡이듯이, 하나님이여, 내 영혼이 주를 찾아 헐떡입니다.
2 My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God?My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: When shall I come and appear before God?내 영혼이 하나님을, 곧 살아 계신 하나님을 갈망합니다. 내가 언제 나아가 하나님 앞에 설 수 있겠습니까?
3 My tears have been my food day and night, while they continually ask me, “Where is your God?”My tears have been my food day and night, While they continually say unto me, Where is thy God?사람들이 날마다 나에게 "네 하나님이 어디 있느냐?" 하고 끊임없이 물으니, 내 눈물이 밤낮으로 내 음식이 되었습니다.
4 These things I remember, and pour out my soul within me, how I used to go with the crowd, and led them to God’s house, with the voice of joy and praise, a multitude keeping a holy day.These things I remember, and pour out my soul within me, How I went with the throng, and led them to the house of God, With the voice of joy and praise, a multitude keeping holyday.내가 이 일들을 기억하며 내 속에 영혼을 쏟아 놓습니다. 어떻게 내가 무리와 함께 나아가, 기쁨과 찬양의 소리를 내며 절기를 지키는 큰 무리를 이끌고 하나님의 집으로 갔던지를 떠올립니다.
5 Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him for the saving help of his presence.Why art thou cast down, O my soul? And why art thou disquieted within me? Hope thou in God; for I shall yet praise him For the help of his countenance.내 영혼아, 어찌하여 네가 낙심하느냐? 어찌하여 내 속에서 불안해하느냐? 하나님께 소망을 두어라! 그분의 임재로 베푸시는 구원의 도움을 인하여 내가 여전히 그분을 찬양하리라.
6 My God, my soul is in despair within me. Therefore I remember you from the land of the Jordan, the heights of Hermon, from the hill Mizar.O my God, my soul is cast down within me: Therefore do I remember thee from the land of the Jordan, And the Hermons, from the hill Mizar.나의 하나님이여, 내 영혼이 내 속에서 낙심합니다. 그러므로 내가 요단 땅에서, 헤르몬 봉우리에서, 미살 산에서 주를 기억합니다.
7 Deep calls to deep at the noise of your waterfalls. All your waves and your billows have swept over me.Deep calleth unto deep at the noise of thy waterfalls: All thy waves and thy billows are gone over me.주의 폭포 소리에 깊음이 깊음을 부릅니다. 주의 모든 파도와 물결이 나를 휩쓸어 덮었습니다.
8 Yahweh will command his loving kindness in the daytime. In the night his song shall be with me: a prayer to the God of my life.Yet Jehovah will command his lovingkindness in the day-time; And in the night his song shall be with me, Even a prayer unto the God of my life.여호와께서 낮에는 그분의 인자하심을 베푸시고, 밤에는 그분의 노래가 나와 함께하리니, 내 생명의 하나님께 드리는 기도입니다.
9 I will ask God, my rock, “Why have you forgotten me? Why do I go mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?”I will say unto God my rock, Why hast thou forgotten me? Why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?내가 나의 반석이신 하나님께 아뢰겠습니다. "어찌하여 나를 잊으셨습니까? 어찌하여 내가 원수의 압제로 인하여 슬퍼하며 다녀야 합니까?"
10 As with a sword in my bones, my adversaries reproach me, while they continually ask me, “ Where is your God?”As with a sword in my bones, mine adversaries reproach me, While they continually say unto me, Where is thy God?내 원수들이 날마다 나에게 "네 하나님이 어디 있느냐?" 하고 끊임없이 물으며 비방하니, 그것이 내 뼈를 칼로 찌르는 것 같습니다.
