2 From the lips of babes and infants you have established strength, because of your adversaries, that you might silence the enemy and the avenger.Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou established strength, Because of thine adversaries, That thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.주께서는 주의 대적들 때문에 어린아이와 젖먹이의 입에서 능력을 세우셨으니, 이는 원수와 복수하는 자를 잠잠하게 하려 하심입니다.
3 When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have ordained,When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, The moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;주의 손가락으로 지으신 주의 하늘과, 주께서 정해 두신 달과 별들을 내가 바라봅니다.
4 what is man, that you think of him? What is the son of man, that you care for him?What is man, that thou art mindful of him? And the son of man, that thou visitest him?사람이 무엇이기에 주께서 그를 생각하시며, 인자가 무엇이기에 주께서 그를 돌보십니까?
5 For you have made him a little lower than the angels, and crowned him with glory and honor.For thou hast made him but little lower than God, And crownest him with glory and honor.주께서 그를 하나님보다 조금 못하게 지으시고, 영광과 존귀로 그에게 관을 씌우셨습니다.
6 You make him ruler over the works of your hands. You have put all things under his feet:Thou makest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; Thou hast put all things under his feet:주의 손으로 지으신 것들을 그가 다스리게 하시고, 모든 것을 그의 발 아래 두셨습니다.
