1 Preserve me, God, for I take refuge in you.Preserve me, O God; for in thee do I take refuge.다윗의 시. 하나님, 나를 지켜 주십시오. 내가 주님께 피합니다.
2 My soul, you have said to Yahweh, “ You are my Lord. Apart from you I have no good thing.”O my soul, thou hast said unto Jehovah, Thou art my Lord: I have no good beyond thee.내 영혼아, 너는 여호와께 말하였다. "주님은 나의 주이십니다. 주님을 떠나서는 내게 좋은 것이 없습니다."
3 As for the saints who are in the earth, they are the excellent ones in whom is all my delight.As for the saints that are in the earth, They are the excellent in whom is all my delight.땅에 있는 거룩한 사람들, 그들은 뛰어난 이들이니 내 모든 기쁨이 그들에게 있습니다.
4 Their sorrows shall be multiplied who give gifts to another god. Their drink offerings of blood I will not offer, nor take their names on my lips.Their sorrows shall be multiplied that give gifts for another god: Their drink-offerings of blood will I not offer, Nor take their names upon my lips.다른 신을 따라가며 예물을 바치는 자들은 그 고통이 더해질 것입니다. 나는 그들이 드리는 피의 전제를 드리지 않을 것이며, 그들의 이름을 내 입술에 올리지도 않겠습니다.
5 Yahweh assigned my portion and my cup. You made my lot secure.Jehovah is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: Thou maintainest my lot.여호와는 내가 받은 몫이며 내 잔입니다. 주님께서 내 분깃을 든든하게 지켜 주십니다.
6 The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places. Yes, I have a good inheritance.The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; Yea, I have a goodly heritage.줄로 잰 내 경계가 아름다운 곳에 떨어졌으니, 참으로 내게 좋은 유산이 있습니다.
7 I will bless Yahweh, who has given me counsel. Yes, my heart instructs me in the night seasons.I will bless Jehovah, who hath given me counsel; Yea, my heart instructeth me in the night seasons.내게 가르침을 주신 여호와를 찬송하겠습니다. 밤마다 내 마음이 나를 깨우쳐 줍니다.
8 I have set Yahweh always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.I have set Jehovah always before me: Because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.내가 여호와를 항상 내 앞에 모셨습니다. 그분이 내 오른편에 계시니 나는 흔들리지 않을 것입니다.
9 Therefore my heart is glad, and my tongue rejoices. My body shall also dwell in safety.Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: My flesh also shall dwell in safety.그러므로 내 마음이 기뻐하고 내 혀가 즐거워하며, 내 몸도 안전히 거할 것입니다.
10 For you will not leave my soul in Sheol, neither will you allow your holy one to see corruption.For thou wilt not leave my soul to Sheol; Neither wilt thou suffer thy holy one to see corruption.주님께서는 내 영혼을 스올에 버려두지 않으시고, 주님의 거룩한 이가 썩는 것을 보지 않게 하실 것입니다.
11 You will show me the path of life. In your presence is fullness of joy. In your right hand there are pleasures forever more.Thou wilt show me the path of life: In thy presence is fulness of joy; In thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.주님께서 내게 생명의 길을 보여 주실 것입니다. 주님 앞에는 기쁨이 충만하고, 주님의 오른편에는 영원한 즐거움이 있습니다.
