1 Moreover Yahweh’s word came to me, saying,Moreover the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,또 여호와의 말씀이 내게 임하여 이르셨다.
2 “ You, son of man, the Lord Yahweh says to the land of Israel, ‘ An end! The end has come on the four corners of the land.And thou, son of man, thus saith the Lord Jehovah unto the land of Israel, An end: the end is come upon the four corners of the land.너 사람의 아들아, 주 여호와께서 이스라엘 땅에 대하여 이렇게 말씀하신다. 끝이 왔다. 이 땅 사방 끝에 끝이 이르렀다.
3 Now the end is on you, and I will send my anger on you, and will judge you according to your ways. I will bring on you all your abominations.Now is the end upon thee, and I will send mine anger upon thee, and will judge thee according to thy ways; and I will bring upon thee all thine abominations.이제 네게 끝이 왔으니, 내가 너에게 내 진노를 보내고 네 행위대로 너를 심판하며, 네 모든 가증한 일을 네게 갚으리라.
4 My eye will not spare you, neither will I have pity; but I will bring your ways on you, and your abominations will be among you. Then you will know that I am Yahweh.’And mine eye shall not spare thee, neither will I have pity; but I will bring thy ways upon thee, and thine abominations shall be in the midst of thee: and ye shall know that I am Jehovah.내 눈이 너를 아끼지 아니하고 긍휼히 여기지도 아니할 것이며, 네 행위대로 네게 갚으리니 네 가증한 일이 네 가운데 드러나리라. 그러면 내가 여호와인 줄을 너희가 알리라.
5 “ The Lord Yahweh says: ‘ A disaster! A unique disaster! Behold, it comes.Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: An evil, an only evil; behold, it cometh.주 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. 재앙이다, 오직 하나뿐인 재앙이다. 보라, 그것이 다가온다.
6 An end has come. The end has come! It awakes against you. Behold, it comes.An end is come, the end is come; it awaketh against thee; behold, it cometh.끝이 왔다, 끝이 왔다. 그것이 너를 향해 깨어 일어났다. 보라, 그것이 다가온다.
7 Your doom has come to you, inhabitant of the land! The time has come! The day is near, a day of tumult, and not of joyful shouting, on the mountains.Thy doom is come unto thee, O inhabitant of the land: the time is come, the day is near, a day of tumult, and not of joyful shouting, upon the mountains.이 땅에 사는 자야, 네 운명이 네게 이르렀다. 때가 왔고 그 날이 가까웠으니, 산 위에 기쁜 함성이 아니라 소란의 날이 임하리라.
8 Now I will shortly pour out my wrath on you, and accomplish my anger against you, and will judge you according to your ways. I will bring on you all your abominations.Now will I shortly pour out my wrath upon thee, and accomplish mine anger against thee, and will judge thee according to thy ways; and I will bring upon thee all thine abominations.이제 내가 곧 내 진노를 네게 쏟아부어 네게 내 분노를 다 이루고, 네 행위대로 너를 심판하며 네 모든 가증한 일을 네게 갚으리라.
9 My eye won’t spare, neither will I have pity. I will punish you according to your ways. Your abominations will be among you. Then you will know that I, Yahweh, strike.And mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: I will bring upon thee according to thy ways; and thine abominations shall be in the midst of thee; and ye shall know that I, Jehovah, do smite.내 눈이 아끼지 아니하고 긍휼히 여기지도 아니할 것이며, 네 행위대로 네게 갚으리니 네 가증한 일이 네 가운데 드러나리라. 그러면 나 여호와가 치는 줄을 너희가 알리라.
10 “‘ Behold, the day! Behold, it comes! Your doom has gone out. The rod has blossomed. Pride has budded.Behold, the day, behold, it cometh: thy doom is gone forth; the rod hath blossomed, pride hath budded.보라, 그 날이다. 보라, 그것이 다가온다. 네 운명이 이미 나갔으니, 막대기에 꽃이 피었고 교만이 싹이 났다.
11 Violence has risen up into a rod of wickedness. None of them will remain, nor of their multitude, nor of their wealth. There will be nothing of value among them.Violence is risen up into a rod of wickedness; none of them shall remain, nor of their multitude, nor of their wealth: neither shall there be eminency among them.폭력이 일어나 악의 막대기가 되었다. 그들 중에 아무도 남지 않을 것이요, 그 무리도, 그 재물도 남지 않을 것이니, 그들 가운데 값진 것이 하나도 없으리라.
12 The time has come! The day draws near. Don’t let the buyer rejoice, nor the seller mourn; for wrath is on all its multitude.The time is come, the day draweth near: let not the buyer rejoice, nor the seller mourn; for wrath is upon all the multitude thereof.때가 왔고 그 날이 가까웠으니, 사는 자도 기뻐하지 말고 파는 자도 슬퍼하지 말라. 진노가 그 온 무리 위에 임하기 때문이다.
13 For the seller won’t return to that which is sold, although they are still alive; for the vision concerns the whole multitude of it. None will return. None will strengthen himself in the iniquity of his life.For the seller shall not return to that which is sold, although they be yet alive: for the vision is touching the whole multitude thereof, none shall return; neither shall any strengthen himself in the iniquity of his life.파는 자는 살아 있을지라도 판 것을 도로 얻지 못하리니, 이는 그 환상이 그 온 무리에게 임하여 아무도 돌이키지 못하고, 또 누구도 죄악 가운데 사는 자기 생명을 굳게 지키지 못하기 때문이다.
14 They have blown the trumpet, and have made all ready; but no one goes to the battle, for my wrath is on all its multitude.They have blown the trumpet, and have made all ready; but none goeth to the battle; for my wrath is upon all the multitude thereof.그들이 나팔을 불어 모든 것을 준비하였으나 아무도 싸움터로 나가지 못하니, 이는 내 진노가 그 온 무리 위에 임하기 때문이다.
15 “‘ The sword is outside, and the pestilence and the famine within. He who is in the field will die by the sword. He who is in the city will be devoured by famine and pestilence.The sword is without, and the pestilence and the famine within: he that is in the field shall die with the sword; and he that is in the city, famine and pestilence shall devour him.칼은 밖에 있고 전염병과 기근은 안에 있으니, 들에 있는 자는 칼에 죽고 성읍에 있는 자는 기근과 전염병이 삼키리라.
16 But of those who escape, they will escape and will be on the mountains like doves of the valleys, all of them moaning, everyone in his iniquity.But those of them that escape shall escape, and shall be on the mountains like doves of the valleys, all of them moaning, every one in his iniquity.그러나 그들 중에 피하는 자는 피하여 산 위에 있으리니, 다 골짜기의 비둘기처럼 저마다 자기 죄악으로 인하여 슬피 울리라.
17 All hands will be feeble, and all knees will be weak as water.All hands shall be feeble, and all knees shall be weak as water.모든 손이 맥이 풀리고 모든 무릎이 물처럼 약해지리라.
18 They will also clothe themselves with sackcloth, and horror will cover them. Shame will be on all faces, and baldness on all their heads.They shall also gird themselves with sackcloth, and horror shall cover them; and shame shall be upon all faces, and baldness upon all their heads.그들이 또한 굵은 베옷을 입고 두려움에 휩싸이리니, 모든 얼굴에 부끄러움이 가득하고 모든 머리가 대머리가 되리라.
19 They will cast their silver in the streets, and their gold will be as an unclean thing. Their silver and their gold won’t be able to deliver them in the day of Yahweh’s wrath. They won’t satisfy their souls or fill their bellies; because it has been the stumbling block of their iniquity.They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be as an unclean thing; their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of Jehovah: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels; because it hath been the stumblingblock of their iniquity.그들이 자기 은을 거리에 던지고 자기 금을 부정한 것처럼 여기리니, 여호와께서 진노하시는 날에 그 은과 금이 그들을 구원하지 못하리라. 그것은 그들의 영혼을 만족시키지 못하고 그들의 배를 채우지 못하니, 이는 그것이 그들을 죄악에 걸려 넘어지게 한 걸림돌이 되었기 때문이다.
20 As for the beauty of his ornament, he set it in majesty; but they made the images of their abominations and their detestable things therein. 21 I will give it into the hands of the strangers for a prey, and to the wicked of the earth for a plunder; and they will profane it.And I will give it into the hands of the strangers for a prey, and to the wicked of the earth for a spoil; and they shall profane it.내가 그것을 이방 사람의 손에 넘겨 노략거리가 되게 하고 땅의 악인에게 넘겨 약탈물이 되게 하리니, 그들이 그것을 더럽히리라.
22 I will also turn my face from them, and they will profane my secret place. Robbers will enter into it, and profane it.My face will I turn also from them, and they shall profane my secret place; and robbers shall enter into it, and profane it.내가 또한 그들에게서 내 얼굴을 돌이키리니, 그들이 내 은밀한 곳을 더럽히고 강도들이 그곳에 들어와 더럽히리라.
23 “‘ Make chains, for the land is full of bloody crimes, and the city is full of violence.Make the chain; for the land is full of bloody crimes, and the city is full of violence.사슬을 만들라. 이 땅에 피 흘린 죄가 가득하고 이 성읍에 폭력이 가득하기 때문이다.
24 Therefore I will bring the worst of the nations, and they will possess their houses. I will also make the pride of the strong to cease. Their holy places will be profaned.Wherefore I will bring the worst of the nations, and they shall possess their houses: I will also make the pride of the strong to cease; and their holy places shall be profaned.그러므로 내가 가장 악한 민족들을 데려와 그들의 집을 차지하게 하고, 강한 자들의 교만을 그치게 하리니, 그들의 거룩한 곳이 더럽혀지리라.
25 Destruction comes! They will seek peace, and there will be none.Destruction cometh; and they shall seek peace, and there shall be none.멸망이 다가오니, 그들이 평화를 구하여도 평화가 없으리라.
26 Mischief will come on mischief, and rumor will be on rumor. They will seek a vision of the prophet; but the law will perish from the priest, and counsel from the elders.Mischief shall come upon mischief, and rumor shall be upon rumor; and they shall seek a vision of the prophet; but the law shall perish from the priest, and counsel from the elders.재난 위에 재난이 닥치고 소문 위에 소문이 더하리니, 그들이 선지자에게 환상을 구하여도 율법이 제사장에게서 끊어지고 지혜가 장로들에게서 끊어지리라.
27 The king will mourn, and the prince will be clothed with desolation. The hands of the people of the land will be troubled. I will do to them after their way, and according to their own judgments I will judge them. Then they will know that I am Yahweh.’”The king shall mourn, and the prince shall be clothed with desolation, and the hands of the people of the land shall be troubled: I will do unto them after their way, and according to their deserts will I judge them; and they shall know that I am Jehovah.왕은 슬퍼하고 군주는 절망으로 옷 입으며 이 땅 백성의 손이 떨리리라. 내가 그들의 행위대로 그들에게 행하고 그들의 심판대로 그들을 심판하리니, 그러면 내가 여호와인 줄을 그들이 알리라.
