1 You, son of man, prophesy to the mountains of Israel, and say, “ You mountains of Israel, hear Yahweh’s word.And thou, son of man, prophesy unto the mountains of Israel, and say, Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of Jehovah.인자야, 너는 이스라엘의 산들을 향해 예언하여 이렇게 말하여라. 이스라엘의 산들아, 여호와의 말씀을 들어라.
2 The Lord Yahweh says: ‘ Because the enemy has said against you, “ Aha!” and, “ The ancient high places are ours in possession!”’Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because the enemy hath said against you, Aha! and, The ancient high places are ours in possession;주 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. 원수가 너희를 두고 "아하!"라고 말하며, "옛적의 산당들이 이제 우리 차지가 되었다"라고 하였으니,
3 therefore prophesy, and say, ‘ The Lord Yahweh says: “ Because, even because they have made you desolate, and swallowed you up on every side, that you might be a possession to the residue of the nations, and you are taken up in the lips of talkers, and the evil report of the people;”therefore prophesy, and say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because, even because they have made you desolate, and swallowed you up on every side, that ye might be a possession unto the residue of the nations, and ye are taken up in the lips of talkers, and the evil report of the people;그러므로 너는 예언하여 이렇게 말하여라. 주 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. 그들이 너희를 황폐하게 하고 사방에서 너희를 삼켜, 너희가 남은 이방 사람들의 소유가 되게 하였으며, 너희가 떠들어대는 자들의 입에 오르내리고 백성의 비방거리가 되었다.
4 therefore, you mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord Yahweh: The Lord Yahweh says to the mountains and to the hills, to the watercourses and to the valleys, to the desolate wastes and to the cities that are forsaken, which have become a prey and derision to the residue of the nations that are all around;therefore, ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord Jehovah: Thus saith the Lord Jehovah to the mountains and to the hills, to the watercourses and to the valleys, to the desolate wastes and to the cities that are forsaken, which are become a prey and derision to the residue of the nations that are round about;그러므로 이스라엘의 산들아, 주 여호와의 말씀을 들어라. 주 여호와께서 산과 언덕과 시냇물과 골짜기와 황폐한 빈 땅과 버림받은 성읍들, 곧 사방에 남은 이방 사람들에게 노략거리와 조롱거리가 된 것들에게 이렇게 말씀하신다.
5 therefore the Lord Yahweh says: “ Surely in the fire of my jealousy I have spoken against the residue of the nations, and against all Edom, that have appointed my land to themselves for a possession with the joy of all their heart, with despite of soul, to cast it out for a prey.”’therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Surely in the fire of my jealousy have I spoken against the residue of the nations, and against all Edom, that have appointed my land unto themselves for a possession with the joy of all their heart, with despite of soul, to cast it out for a prey.그러므로 주 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. 진실로 내가 나의 질투의 불 가운데서 남은 이방 사람들과 온 에돔을 향해 말하였노라. 그들은 마음껏 기뻐하며 속으로 멸시하면서 내 땅을 자기들의 소유로 정하고, 그 땅을 노략거리로 내던졌느니라.
6 Therefore prophesy concerning the land of Israel, and tell the mountains, the hills, the watercourses and the valleys, ‘ The Lord Yahweh says: “ Behold, I have spoken in my jealousy and in my wrath, because you have borne the shame of the nations.”Therefore prophesy concerning the land of Israel, and say unto the mountains and to the hills, to the watercourses and to the valleys, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I have spoken in my jealousy and in my wrath, because ye have borne the shame of the nations:그러므로 너는 이스라엘 땅을 두고 예언하여 산과 언덕과 시냇물과 골짜기에게 이렇게 말하여라. 주 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. 보라, 너희가 이방 사람들의 수치를 짊어졌으므로, 내가 나의 질투와 분노로 말하였노라.
7 Therefore the Lord Yahweh says: “ I have sworn, ‘ Surely the nations that are around you will bear their shame.’therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I have sworn, saying, Surely the nations that are round about you, they shall bear their shame.그러므로 주 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. 내가 손을 들어 맹세하노니, 너희 사방에 있는 이방 사람들이 반드시 자기들의 수치를 짊어지리라.
8 “‘“ But you, mountains of Israel, you shall shoot out your branches and yield your fruit to my people Israel; for they are at hand to come.But ye, O mountains of Israel, ye shall shoot forth your branches, and yield your fruit to my people Israel; for they are at hand to come.그러나 너희 이스라엘의 산들아, 너희는 가지를 내고 내 백성 이스라엘을 위해 열매를 맺으리라. 그들이 곧 돌아올 때가 가까웠느니라.
9 For, behold, I am for you, and I will come to you, and you will be tilled and sown.For, behold, I am for you, and I will turn unto you, and ye shall be tilled and sown;보라, 내가 너희를 돕고 너희에게로 향하리니, 너희가 갈아엎어지고 씨가 뿌려지리라.
10 I will multiply men on you, all the house of Israel, even all of it. The cities will be inhabited and the waste places will be built.and I will multiply men upon you, all the house of Israel, even all of it; and the cities shall be inhabited, and the waste places shall be builded;내가 너희 위에 사람을 번성하게 하리니, 곧 이스라엘 온 족속, 그 전부이니라. 성읍들에는 사람이 살고 황폐한 곳들은 다시 세워지리라.
11 I will multiply man and animal on you. They will increase and be fruitful. I will cause you to be inhabited as you were before, and you will do better than at your beginnings. Then you will know that I am Yahweh.and I will multiply upon you man and beast; and they shall increase and be fruitful; and I will cause you to be inhabited after your former estate, and will do better unto you than at your beginnings: and ye shall know that I am Jehovah.내가 너희 위에 사람과 짐승을 번성하게 하리니, 그들이 늘어나고 번성하리라. 내가 너희를 옛적의 형편처럼 사람이 살게 하고, 너희의 처음보다 더 잘되게 하리라. 그리하면 내가 여호와인 줄을 너희가 알리라.
12 Yes, I will cause men to walk on you, even my people Israel. They will possess you, and you will be their inheritance, and you will never again bereave them of their children.”Yea, I will cause men to walk upon you, even my people Israel; and they shall possess thee, and thou shalt be their inheritance, and thou shalt no more henceforth bereave them of children.참으로 내가 사람들, 곧 내 백성 이스라엘이 너희 위를 거닐게 하리니, 그들이 너희를 차지하고 너희는 그들의 기업이 되리라. 너희가 다시는 그들에게서 자식을 빼앗지 아니하리라.
13 “‘ The Lord Yahweh says: “ Because they say to you, ‘ You are a devourer of men, and have been a bereaver of your nation;’Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because they say unto you, Thou land art a devourer of men, and hast been a bereaver of thy nation;주 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. 사람들이 너희에게 "너는 사람을 삼키는 땅이요, 네 백성을 잃게 한 땅이다"라고 말하나,
14 therefore you shall devour men no more, and not bereave your nation any more,” says the Lord Yahweh.therefore thou shalt devour men no more, neither bereave thy nation any more, saith the Lord Jehovah;그러므로 네가 다시는 사람을 삼키지 아니하고, 다시는 네 백성을 잃게 하지 아니하리라. 주 여호와의 말씀이니라.
15 “ I won’t let you hear the shame of the nations any more. You won’t bear the reproach of the peoples any more, and you won’t cause your nation to stumble any more,” says the Lord Yahweh.’”neither will I let thee hear any more the shame of the nations, neither shalt thou bear the reproach of the peoples any more, neither shalt thou cause thy nation to stumble any more, saith the Lord Jehovah.내가 다시는 네가 이방 사람들의 수치를 듣지 않게 하며, 다시는 네가 뭇 백성의 비방을 짊어지지 않게 하며, 다시는 네가 네 백성을 넘어지게 하지 않게 하리라. 주 여호와의 말씀이니라.
16 Moreover Yahweh’s word came to me, saying,Moreover the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,또 여호와의 말씀이 내게 임하여 이르시되,
17 “ Son of man, when the house of Israel lived in their own land, they defiled it by their ways and by their deeds. Their way before me was as the uncleanness of a woman in her impurity.Son of man, when the house of Israel dwelt in their own land, they defiled it by their way and by their doings: their way before me was as the uncleanness of a woman in her impurity.인자야, 이스라엘 족속이 자기들의 땅에 살 때에 그들의 행위와 행실로 그 땅을 더럽혔으니, 내 앞에서 그들의 행위는 월경 중인 여인의 부정함과 같았느니라.
18 Therefore I poured out my wrath on them for the blood which they had poured out on the land, and because they had defiled it with their idols.Wherefore I poured out my wrath upon them for the blood which they had poured out upon the land, and because they had defiled it with their idols;그러므로 그들이 그 땅에 피를 쏟았고 또 우상들로 그 땅을 더럽혔으므로, 내가 나의 분노를 그들에게 쏟아부었느니라.
19 I scattered them among the nations, and they were dispersed through the countries. I judged them according to their way and according to their deeds.and I scattered them among the nations, and they were dispersed through the countries: according to their way and according to their doings I judged them.내가 그들을 이방 사람들 가운데로 흩고 여러 나라에 헤쳐 놓았으니, 그들의 행위와 행실을 따라 내가 그들을 심판하였느니라.
20 When they came to the nations where they went, they profaned my holy name, in that men said of them, ‘ These are Yahweh’s people, and have left his land.’And when they came unto the nations, whither they went, they profaned my holy name; in that men said of them, These are the people of Jehovah, and are gone forth out of his land.그들이 이른 그 이방 사람들에게 갔을 때, 사람들이 그들을 두고 "이들은 여호와의 백성인데 그분의 땅에서 나왔구나"라고 말하니, 그들이 내 거룩한 이름을 더럽혔느니라.
21 But I had respect for my holy name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the nations where they went.But I had regard for my holy name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the nations, whither they went.그러나 이스라엘 족속이 그들이 간 이방 사람들 가운데서 더럽힌 내 거룩한 이름을 내가 아꼈노라.
22 “ Therefore tell the house of Israel, ‘ The Lord Yahweh says: “ I don’t do this for your sake, house of Israel, but for my holy name, which you have profaned among the nations where you went.Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I do not this for your sake, O house of Israel, but for my holy name, which ye have profaned among the nations, whither ye went.그러므로 너는 이스라엘 족속에게 말하여라. 주 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. 이스라엘 족속아, 내가 이 일을 행함은 너희를 위해서가 아니라, 너희가 이른 이방 사람들 가운데서 더럽힌 내 거룩한 이름을 위해서니라.
23 I will sanctify my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, which you have profaned among them. Then the nations will know that I am Yahweh,” says the Lord Yahweh, “ when I am proven holy in you before their eyes.And I will sanctify my great name, which hath been profaned among the nations, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the nations shall know that I am Jehovah, saith the Lord Jehovah, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.이방 사람들 가운데서 더럽혀진 내 큰 이름, 곧 너희가 그들 가운데서 더럽힌 그 이름을 내가 거룩하게 하리라. 내가 그들의 눈앞에서 너희를 통해 거룩하게 될 때에, 그 이방 사람들이 내가 여호와인 줄을 알리라. 주 여호와의 말씀이니라.
24 “‘“ For I will take you from among the nations and gather you out of all the countries, and will bring you into your own land.For I will take you from among the nations, and gather you out of all the countries, and will bring you into your own land.내가 너희를 이방 사람들 가운데서 데리고 나오며, 모든 나라에서 모아 너희 땅으로 데려가리라.
25 I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean. I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols.And I will sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.내가 맑은 물을 너희에게 뿌려 너희를 정결하게 하되, 너희의 모든 더러움과 모든 우상에서 너희를 깨끗하게 하리라.
26 I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh.A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you; and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh.내가 또 너희에게 새 마음을 주고 너희 속에 새 영을 두며, 너희 육신에서 돌같이 굳은 마음을 제거하고 살처럼 부드러운 마음을 너희에게 주리라.
27 I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes. You will keep my ordinances and do them.And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep mine ordinances, and do them.내가 내 영을 너희 속에 두어 너희가 내 법도를 따라 행하게 하고, 너희가 내 규례를 지켜 행하게 하리라.
28 You will dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers. You will be my people, and I will be your God.And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.너희는 내가 너희 조상들에게 준 땅에 살리니, 너희는 내 백성이 되고 나는 너희 하나님이 되리라.
29 I will save you from all your uncleanness. I will call for the grain and will multiply it, and lay no famine on you.And I will save you from all your uncleannesses: and I will call for the grain, and will multiply it, and lay no famine upon you.내가 너희를 너희의 모든 더러움에서 구원하며, 곡식을 불러 풍성하게 하여 너희에게 기근이 임하지 않게 하리라.
30 I will multiply the fruit of the tree and the increase of the field, that you may receive no more the reproach of famine among the nations.And I will multiply the fruit of the tree, and the increase of the field, that ye may receive no more the reproach of famine among the nations.내가 나무의 열매와 밭의 소출을 풍성하게 하여, 너희가 다시는 이방 사람들 가운데서 기근의 비방을 받지 않게 하리라.
31 “‘“ Then you will remember your evil ways, and your deeds that were not good; and you will loathe yourselves in your own sight for your iniquities and for your abominations.Then shall ye remember your evil ways, and your doings that were not good; and ye shall loathe yourselves in your own sight for your iniquities and for your abominations.그때에 너희가 너희의 악한 길과 너희의 선하지 못한 행실을 기억하고, 너희의 죄악과 가증한 일들로 인해 스스로 보기에 너희 자신을 싫어하리라.
32 I don’t do this for your sake,” says the Lord Yahweh. “ Let it be known to you. Be ashamed and confounded for your ways, house of Israel.”Nor for your sake do I this, saith the Lord Jehovah, be it known unto you: be ashamed and confounded for your ways, O house of Israel.주 여호와의 말씀이니라. 내가 이 일을 행함이 너희를 위해서가 아닌 줄을 너희가 알아라. 이스라엘 족속아, 너희의 행위로 인해 부끄러워하고 낯을 들지 못하여라.
33 “‘ The Lord Yahweh says: “ In the day that I cleanse you from all your iniquities, I will cause the cities to be inhabited and the waste places will be built.Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: In the day that I cleanse you from all your iniquities, I will cause the cities to be inhabited, and the waste places shall be builded.주 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. 내가 너희의 모든 죄악에서 너희를 정결하게 하는 날에, 내가 성읍들에 사람이 살게 하고 황폐한 곳들을 다시 세우리라.
34 The land that was desolate will be tilled instead of being a desolation in the sight of all who passed by.And the land that was desolate shall be tilled, whereas it was a desolation in the sight of all that passed by.황폐했던 땅, 곧 지나가는 모든 자의 눈에 황무지로 보이던 그 땅이 갈아엎어지리라.
35 They will say, ‘ This land that was desolate has become like the garden of Eden. The waste, desolate, and ruined cities are fortified and inhabited.’And they shall say, This land that was desolate is become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are fortified and inhabited.사람들이 말하기를 "황폐했던 이 땅이 에덴 동산같이 되었고, 무너지고 황폐하여 폐허가 되었던 성읍들이 이제 견고하게 되어 사람이 산다" 하리라.
36 Then the nations that are left around you will know that I, Yahweh, have built the ruined places and planted that which was desolate. I, Yahweh, have spoken it, and I will do it.”Then the nations that are left round about you shall know that I, Jehovah, have builded the ruined places, and planted that which was desolate: I, Jehovah, have spoken it, and I will do it.그때에 너희 사방에 남아 있는 이방 사람들이 나 여호와가 무너진 곳을 다시 세우고 황폐했던 곳에 다시 심은 줄을 알리라. 나 여호와가 말하였으니 내가 이루리라.
37 “‘ The Lord Yahweh says: “ For this, moreover, I will be inquired of by the house of Israel, to do it for them: I will increase them with men like a flock.Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: For this, moreover, will I be inquired of by the house of Israel, to do it for them: I will increase them with men like a flock.주 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. 또한 내가 이 일을 이스라엘 족속을 위해 이루어 달라는 그들의 간구를 들으리라. 내가 그들의 사람을 양 떼처럼 많아지게 하리라.
38 As the flock for sacrifice, as the flock of Jerusalem in her appointed feasts, so the waste cities will be filled with flocks of men. Then they will know that I am Yahweh.’”As the flock for sacrifice, as the flock of Jerusalem in her appointed feasts, so shall the waste cities be filled with flocks of men; and they shall know that I am Jehovah.제물로 드리는 양 떼처럼, 정한 절기에 모이는 예루살렘의 양 떼처럼, 황폐했던 성읍들이 사람의 무리로 가득 차리라. 그리하면 그들이 내가 여호와인 줄을 알리라.
