1 Yahweh’s word came to me, saying,And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,여호와의 말씀이 나에게 임하여 이르셨다.
2 “ Son of man, set your face toward the children of Ammon, and prophesy against them.Son of man, set thy face toward the children of Ammon, and prophesy against them:사람아, 네 얼굴을 암몬 자손을 향해 두고 그들을 두고 예언하여라.
3 Tell the children of Ammon, ‘ Hear the word of the Lord Yahweh! The Lord Yahweh says, “ Because you said, ‘ Aha!’ against my sanctuary when it was profaned, and against the land of Israel when it was made desolate, and against the house of Judah when they went into captivity,and say unto the children of Ammon, Hear the word of the Lord Jehovah: Thus saith the Lord Jehovah, Because thou saidst, Aha, against my sanctuary, when it was profaned; and against the land of Israel, when it was made desolate; and against the house of Judah, when they went into captivity:너는 암몬 자손에게 이렇게 전하여라. 주 여호와의 말씀을 들어라. 주 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. 내 성소가 더럽혀졌을 때, 이스라엘 땅이 황폐해졌을 때, 유다 집안이 사로잡혀 끌려갔을 때, 네가 "아하!" 하며 고소해했으니,
4 therefore, behold, I will deliver you to the children of the east for a possession. They will set their encampments in you and make their dwellings in you. They will eat your fruit and they will drink your milk.therefore, behold, I will deliver thee to the children of the east for a possession, and they shall set their encampments in thee, and make their dwellings in thee; they shall eat thy fruit, and they shall drink thy milk.그러므로 보아라, 내가 너를 동방 사람들에게 넘겨 그들의 소유가 되게 하겠다. 그들은 네 안에 진을 치고 그 안에 거처를 마련하며, 네 열매를 먹고 네 젖을 마실 것이다.
5 I will make Rabbah a stable for camels and the children of Ammon a resting place for flocks. Then you will know that I am Yahweh.”And I will make Rabbah a stable for camels, and the children of Ammon a couching-place for flocks: and ye shall know that I am Jehovah.내가 랍바를 낙타의 우리로, 암몬 자손의 땅을 양 떼가 쉬는 곳으로 만들 것이니, 그제야 너희가 내가 여호와인 줄 알게 될 것이다.
6 For the Lord Yahweh says: “ Because you have clapped your hands, stamped with the feet, and rejoiced with all the contempt of your soul against the land of Israel,For thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because thou hast clapped thy hands, and stamped with the feet, and rejoiced with all the despite of thy soul against the land of Israel;주 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. 네가 이스라엘 땅을 두고 손뼉을 치고 발을 구르며 온 마음으로 멸시하고 기뻐하였으니,
7 therefore, behold, I have stretched out my hand on you, and will deliver you for a plunder to the nations. I will cut you off from the peoples, and I will cause you to perish out of the countries. I will destroy you. Then you will know that I am Yahweh.”therefore, behold, I have stretched out my hand upon thee, and will deliver thee for a spoil to the nations; and I will cut thee off from the peoples, and I will cause thee to perish out of the countries: I will destroy thee; and thou shalt know that I am Jehovah.그러므로 보아라, 내가 너를 향해 손을 뻗어 너를 뭇 나라에 노략거리로 넘기고, 너를 여러 민족 가운데서 끊어 버리며 여러 나라에서 망하게 하겠다. 내가 너를 멸하리니, 그제야 네가 내가 여호와인 줄 알게 될 것이다.
8 “‘ The Lord Yahweh says: “ Because Moab and Seir say, ‘ Behold, the house of Judah is like all the nations,’Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because that Moab and Seir do say, Behold, the house of Judah is like unto all the nations;주 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. 모압과 세일이 "보아라, 유다 집안도 다른 모든 나라와 다를 바 없다" 하고 말하였으니,
9 therefore, behold, I will open the side of Moab from the cities, from his cities which are on its frontiers, the glory of the country, Beth Jeshimoth, Baal Meon, and Kiriathaim,therefore, behold, I will open the side of Moab from the cities, from his cities which are on his frontiers, the glory of the country, Beth-jeshimoth, Baal-meon, and Kiriathaim,그러므로 보아라, 내가 모압의 변경에 있는 성읍들, 곧 그 땅의 영광인 벧여시못과 바알므온과 기랴다임에서부터 그 옆구리를 열어,
10 to the children of the east, to go against the children of Ammon; and I will give them for a possession, that the children of Ammon may not be remembered among the nations.unto the children of the east, to go against the children of Ammon; and I will give them for a possession, that the children of Ammon may not be remembered among the nations:동방 사람들에게 넘겨 암몬 자손을 치게 하고, 그들을 소유로 주어 암몬 자손이 다시는 뭇 나라 가운데서 기억되지 못하게 하겠다.
11 I will execute judgments on Moab. Then they will know that I am Yahweh.”and I will execute judgments upon Moab; and they shall know that I am Jehovah.내가 또 모압에게 심판을 행하리니, 그제야 그들이 내가 여호와인 줄 알게 될 것이다.
12 “‘ The Lord Yahweh says: “ Because Edom has dealt against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and has greatly offended, and taken revenge on them,”Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because that Edom hath dealt against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and hath greatly offended, and revenged himself upon them;주 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. 에돔이 유다 집안에게 원수를 갚으려 하여 크게 죄를 지었고 그들에게 복수하였으니,
13 therefore the Lord Yahweh says, “ I will stretch out my hand on Edom, and will cut off man and animal from it; and I will make it desolate from Teman. They will fall by the sword even to Dedan.therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah, I will stretch out my hand upon Edom, and will cut off man and beast from it; and I will make it desolate from Teman; even unto Dedan shall they fall by the sword.그러므로 주 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. 내가 에돔을 향해 손을 뻗어 그곳에서 사람과 짐승을 끊어 버리고, 데만에서부터 그곳을 황폐하게 하리니, 드단까지 칼에 쓰러질 것이다.
14 I will lay my vengeance on Edom by the hand of my people Israel. They will do in Edom according to my anger and according to my wrath. Then they will know my vengeance,” says the Lord Yahweh.And I will lay my vengeance upon Edom by the hand of my people Israel; and they shall do in Edom according to mine anger and according to my wrath; and they shall know my vengeance, saith the Lord Jehovah.내가 내 백성 이스라엘의 손으로 에돔에 복수하리니, 그들이 내 진노와 분노대로 에돔에게 행할 것이다. 그제야 그들이 내 복수가 무엇인지 알게 될 것이다. 주 여호와의 말씀이다.
15 “‘ The Lord Yahweh says: “ Because the Philistines have taken revenge, and have taken vengeance with contempt of soul to destroy with perpetual hostility,”Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because the Philistines have dealt by revenge, and have taken vengeance with despite of soul to destroy with perpetual enmity;주 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. 블레셋 사람들이 복수하려 하여 마음껏 멸시하며 원수를 갚았고 끝없는 미움으로 멸하려 하였으니,
16 therefore the Lord Yahweh says, “ Behold, I will stretch out my hand on the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethites, and destroy the remnant of the sea coast.therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah, Behold, I will stretch out my hand upon the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethites, and destroy the remnant of the sea coast.그러므로 주 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. 보아라, 내가 블레셋 사람들을 향해 손을 뻗어 그렛 사람들을 끊어 버리고 바닷가에 남은 자들을 멸하겠다.
17 I will execute great vengeance on them with wrathful rebukes. Then they will know that I am Yahweh, when I lay my vengeance on them.”’”And I will execute great vengeance upon them with wrathful rebukes; and they shall know that I am Jehovah, when I shall lay my vengeance upon them.내가 진노의 책망으로 그들에게 큰 복수를 행하리니, 내가 그들에게 복수할 때에 그제야 그들이 내가 여호와인 줄 알게 될 것이다.
