1 “ You, son of man, take a sharp sword. You shall take it as a barber’s razor to yourself, and shall cause it to pass over your head and over your beard. Then take balances to weigh and divide the hair.And thou, son of man, take thee a sharp sword; as a barber’s razor shalt thou take it unto thee, and shalt cause it to pass upon thy head and upon thy beard: then take thee balances to weigh, and divide the hair.너 사람의 아들아, 날카로운 칼을 가져다가 이발사의 면도칼처럼 삼아 네 머리와 수염 위에 대고 밀어라. 그런 다음 저울을 가져다가 그 털을 달아 나누어라.
2 A third part you shall burn in the fire in the middle of the city, when the days of the siege are fulfilled. You shall take a third part, and strike with the sword around it. A third part you shall scatter to the wind, and I will draw out a sword after them.A third part shalt thou burn in the fire in the midst of the city, when the days of the siege are fulfilled; and thou shalt take a third part, and smite with the sword round about it; and a third part thou shalt scatter to the wind, and I will draw out a sword after them.도성이 포위된 날들이 끝나면, 삼분의 일은 도성 한가운데서 불에 태우고, 삼분의 일은 칼로 도성 둘레를 치고, 삼분의 일은 바람에 흩어라. 그러면 내가 그들 뒤를 따라 칼을 빼어 들겠다.
3 You shall take a small number of these and bind them in the folds of your robe.And thou shalt take thereof a few in number, and bind them in thy skirts.그 가운데서 적은 수의 털을 가져다가 네 옷자락에 싸 두어라.
4 Of these again you shall take, and cast them into the middle of the fire, and burn them in the fire. From it a fire will come out into all the house of Israel.And of these again shalt thou take, and cast them into the midst of the fire, and burn them in the fire; therefrom shall a fire come forth into all the house of Israel.그것들 중에서 또 얼마를 가져다가 불 한가운데 던져 불에 태워라. 거기에서 불이 나와 온 이스라엘 집으로 번져 나갈 것이다.
5 “ The Lord Yahweh says: ‘ This is Jerusalem. I have set her in the middle of the nations, and countries are around her.Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: This is Jerusalem; I have set her in the midst of the nations, and countries are round about her.주 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. 이것이 예루살렘이다. 내가 그를 뭇 나라 한가운데 세웠고, 그 둘레에 여러 나라가 있게 하였다.
6 She has rebelled against my ordinances in doing wickedness more than the nations, and against my statutes more than the countries that are around her; for they have rejected my ordinances, and as for my statutes, they have not walked in them.’And she hath rebelled against mine ordinances in doing wickedness more than the nations, and against my statutes more than the countries that are round about her; for they have rejected mine ordinances, and as for my statutes, they have not walked in them.그러나 그는 내 규례를 거역하여 뭇 나라보다 더 악을 행하였고, 둘레에 있는 여러 나라보다 더 내 율례를 거슬렀다. 그들이 내 규례를 저버리고 내 율례를 따라 살지 않았기 때문이다.
7 “ Therefore the Lord Yahweh says: ‘ Because you are more turbulent than the nations that are around you, and have not walked in my statutes, neither have kept my ordinances, neither have followed the ordinances of the nations that are around you;Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because ye are turbulent more than the nations that are round about you, and have not walked in my statutes, neither have kept mine ordinances, neither have done after the ordinances of the nations that are round about you;그러므로 주 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. 너희가 둘레에 있는 뭇 나라보다 더 소란을 피우며, 내 율례를 따라 살지 않고 내 규례를 지키지 않았으며, 둘레에 있는 뭇 나라의 법규조차 따르지 않았으니,
8 therefore the Lord Yahweh says: ‘ Behold, I, even I, am against you; and I will execute judgments among you in the sight of the nations.therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I, even I, am against thee; and I will execute judgments in the midst of thee in the sight of the nations.그러므로 주 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. 보아라, 나 곧 내가 너를 대적하여, 뭇 나라가 보는 앞에서 네 한가운데에 심판을 행하겠다.
9 I will do in you that which I have not done, and which I will not do anything like it any more, because of all your abominations.And I will do in thee that which I have not done, and whereunto I will not do any more the like, because of all thine abominations.네 모든 가증한 일들 때문에, 내가 전에 행하지 않았고 앞으로도 다시는 그같이 행하지 않을 일을 네게 행하겠다.
10 Therefore the fathers will eat the sons within you, and the sons will eat their fathers. I will execute judgments on you; and I will scatter the whole remnant of you to all the winds.Therefore the fathers shall eat the sons in the midst of thee, and the sons shall eat their fathers; and I will execute judgments on thee; and the whole remnant of thee will I scatter unto all the winds.그러므로 네 한가운데서 아버지들이 자식들을 잡아먹고, 자식들이 아버지들을 잡아먹을 것이다. 내가 네게 심판을 행하고, 네게 남은 자들을 모두 사방 바람에 흩어 버리겠다.
11 Therefore as I live,’ says the Lord Yahweh, ‘ surely, because you have defiled my sanctuary with all your detestable things, and with all your abominations, therefore I will also diminish you. My eye won’t spare, and I will have no pity.Wherefore, as I live, saith the Lord Jehovah, surely, because thou hast defiled my sanctuary with all thy detestable things, and with all thine abominations, therefore will I also diminish thee; neither shall mine eye spare, and I also will have no pity.그러므로 주 여호와께서 말씀하신다. 내가 살아 있음을 두고 맹세하노니, 네가 온갖 역겨운 것과 온갖 가증한 일로 내 성소를 더럽혔으니, 나도 반드시 너를 줄어들게 하겠다. 내 눈이 너를 아끼지 않겠고, 나도 너를 불쌍히 여기지 않겠다.
12 A third part of you will die with the pestilence, and they will be consumed with famine within you. A third part will fall by the sword around you. A third part I will scatter to all the winds, and will draw out a sword after them.A third part of thee shall die with the pestilence, and with famine shall they be consumed in the midst of thee; and a third part shall fall by the sword round about thee; and a third part I will scatter unto all the winds, and will draw out a sword after them.네 가운데 삼분의 일은 전염병으로 죽고 기근으로 너희 한가운데서 망할 것이며, 삼분의 일은 네 둘레에서 칼에 쓰러질 것이고, 삼분의 일은 내가 사방 바람에 흩고 그들 뒤를 따라 칼을 빼어 들겠다.
13 “‘Thus my anger will be accomplished, and I will cause my wrath toward them to rest, and I will be comforted. They will know that I, Yahweh, have spoken in my zeal, when I have accomplished my wrath on them.Thus shall mine anger be accomplished, and I will cause my wrath toward them to rest, and I shall be comforted: and they shall know that I, Jehovah, have spoken in my zeal, when I have accomplished my wrath upon them.이렇게 내 진노를 다 쏟고, 내 분노를 그들에게 풀어 가라앉히며, 내가 위로를 받겠다. 내가 그들에게 내 분노를 다 이룰 때에야, 나 여호와가 나의 열심으로 말하였음을 그들이 알게 될 것이다.
14 “‘Moreover I will make you a desolation and a reproach among the nations that are around you, in the sight of all that pass by.Moreover I will make thee a desolation and a reproach among the nations that are round about thee, in the sight of all that pass by.또한 내가 너를 황폐하게 하고, 지나가는 모든 사람이 보는 앞에서 네 둘레에 있는 뭇 나라 가운데 조롱거리가 되게 하겠다.
15 So it will be a reproach and a taunt, an instruction and an astonishment, to the nations that are around you, when I execute judgments on you in anger and in wrath, and in wrathful rebukes — I, Yahweh, have spoken it —So it shall be a reproach and a taunt, an instruction and an astonishment, unto the nations that are round about thee, when I shall execute judgments on thee in anger and in wrath, and in wrathful rebukes ( I, Jehovah, have spoken it );내가 분노와 진노와 격렬한 책망으로 네게 심판을 행할 때에, 너는 네 둘레에 있는 뭇 나라에게 조롱거리와 비웃음거리가 되고, 경고와 놀라움의 본보기가 될 것이다. 나 여호와가 말하였다.
16 when I send on them the evil arrows of famine that are for destruction, which I will send to destroy you. I will increase the famine on you and will break your staff of bread.when I shall send upon them the evil arrows of famine, that are for destruction, which I will send to destroy you. And I will increase the famine upon you, and will break your staff of bread;내가 너를 멸하려고 보내는 기근의 사악한 화살, 곧 파멸을 위한 화살을 그들에게 쏘아 보내겠다. 내가 네게 기근을 더하고, 네가 의지하는 양식을 끊어 버리겠다.
17 I will send on you famine and evil animals, and they will bereave you. Pestilence and blood will pass through you. I will bring the sword on you. I, Yahweh, have spoken it.’”and I will send upon you famine and evil beasts, and they shall bereave thee; and pestilence and blood shall pass through thee; and I will bring the sword upon thee: I, Jehovah, have spoken it.내가 네게 기근과 사나운 짐승을 보내어 너를 자식 잃게 하고, 전염병과 피흘림이 네 가운데로 지나가게 하며, 칼을 네게 보내겠다. 나 여호와가 말하였다.
