1 Yahweh’s word came again to me, saying,The word of Jehovah came again unto me, saying,여호와의 말씀이 다시 내게 임하여 이르셨다.
2 “ Son of man, prophesy, and say, ‘ The Lord Yahweh says: “ Wail, ‘ Alas for the day!’Son of man, prophesy, and say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Wail ye, Alas for the day!사람의 아들아, 예언하여 말하여라. 주 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. "너희는 통곡하여라. 아, 그날이여!" 하고 외쳐라.
3 For the day is near, even Yahweh’s day is near. It will be a day of clouds, a time of the nations.For the day is near, even the day of Jehovah is near; it shall be a day of clouds, a time of the nations.그날이 가까웠다. 여호와의 날이 가까웠으니, 구름이 덮이는 날이요 뭇 민족에게 임할 때이다.
4 A sword will come on Egypt, and anguish will be in Ethiopia, when the slain fall in Egypt. They take away her multitude, and her foundations are broken down.And a sword shall come upon Egypt, and anguish shall be in Ethiopia, when the slain shall fall in Egypt; and they shall take away her multitude, and her foundations shall be broken down.칼이 이집트를 치러 올 것이며, 죽임을 당한 자들이 이집트에서 쓰러질 때 에티오피아에 고통이 임할 것이다. 사람들이 이집트의 많은 무리를 끌어가고, 그 기초가 허물어질 것이다.
5 “‘“ Ethiopia, Put, Lud, all the mixed people, Cub, and the children of the land that is allied with them, will fall with them by the sword.”Ethiopia, and Put, and Lud, and all the mingled people, and Cub, and the children of the land that is in league, shall fall with them by the sword.에티오피아와 붓과 룻과 모든 섞여 사는 백성과 굽과, 이집트와 동맹을 맺은 땅의 자손들이 그들과 함께 칼에 쓰러질 것이다.
6 “‘ Yahweh says: “ They also who uphold Egypt will fall. The pride of her power will come down. They will fall by the sword in it from the tower of Seveneh,” says the Lord Yahweh.Thus saith Jehovah: They also that uphold Egypt shall fall; and the pride of her power shall come down: from the tower of Seveneh shall they fall in it by the sword, saith the Lord Jehovah.여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. 이집트를 떠받치는 자들도 쓰러질 것이며, 그 권세의 교만이 무너질 것이다. 시에네 망대에서부터 그 안에 있는 자들이 칼에 쓰러질 것이라고 주 여호와께서 말씀하신다.
7 “ They will be desolate in the middle of the countries that are desolate. Her cities will be among the cities that are wasted.And they shall be desolate in the midst of the countries that are desolate; and her cities shall be in the midst of the cities that are wasted.그들은 황폐한 나라들 가운데서 황폐하게 될 것이며, 그 성읍들은 폐허가 된 성읍들 가운데 놓일 것이다.
8 They will know that I am Yahweh when I have set a fire in Egypt, and all her helpers are destroyed.And they shall know that I am Jehovah, when I have set a fire in Egypt, and all her helpers are destroyed.내가 이집트에 불을 놓고 그를 돕던 모든 자가 멸망할 때, 그들은 내가 여호와임을 알게 될 것이다.
9 “‘“ In that day messengers will go out from before me in ships to make the careless Ethiopians afraid. There will be anguish on them, as in the day of Egypt; for, behold, it comes.”In that day shall messengers go forth from before me in ships to make the careless Ethiopians afraid; and there shall be anguish upon them, as in the day of Egypt; for, lo, it cometh.그날에 내가 보낸 사자들이 배를 타고 나아가 안일하게 지내던 에티오피아 사람들을 두렵게 할 것이니, 이집트가 심판받던 그날처럼 그들에게도 고통이 임할 것이다. 보아라, 그날이 다가오고 있다.
10 “‘ The Lord Yahweh says: “ I will also make the multitude of Egypt to cease, by the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon.Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I will also make the multitude of Egypt to cease, by the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon.주 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. 내가 바벨론 왕 느부갓네살의 손을 빌려 이집트의 많은 무리를 그치게 하겠다.
11 He and his people with him, the terrible of the nations, will be brought in to destroy the land. They will draw their swords against Egypt, and fill the land with the slain.He and his people with him, the terrible of the nations, shall be brought in to destroy the land; and they shall draw their swords against Egypt, and fill the land with the slain.그와 그 백성, 곧 뭇 민족 가운데 가장 잔인한 자들이 그 땅을 멸하러 들어와, 이집트를 향하여 칼을 빼들고 그 땅을 죽임당한 자들로 가득 채울 것이다.
12 I will make the rivers dry, and will sell the land into the hand of evil men. I will make the land desolate, and all that is therein, by the hand of foreigners. I, Yahweh, have spoken it.”And I will make the rivers dry, and will sell the land into the hand of evil men; and I will make the land desolate, and all that is therein, by the hand of strangers: I, Jehovah, have spoken it.내가 강들을 마르게 하고 그 땅을 악한 자들의 손에 팔며, 이방 사람들의 손으로 그 땅과 그 안에 있는 모든 것을 황폐하게 하겠다. 나 여호와가 말하였다.
13 “‘ The Lord Yahweh says: “ I will also destroy the idols, and I will cause the images to cease from Memphis. There will be no more a prince from the land of Egypt. I will put a fear in the land of Egypt.Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I will also destroy the idols, and I will cause the images to cease from Memphis; and there shall be no more a prince from the land of Egypt: and I will put a fear in the land of Egypt.주 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. 내가 또한 우상들을 멸하고 멤피스에서 신상들을 없애 버리겠다. 다시는 이집트 땅에서 통치자가 나오지 못할 것이며, 내가 이집트 땅에 두려움을 보내겠다.
14 I will make Pathros desolate, and will set a fire in Zoan, and will execute judgments on No.And I will make Pathros desolate, and will set a fire in Zoan, and will execute judgments upon No.내가 바드로스를 황폐하게 하고 소안에 불을 놓으며 노에 심판을 행하겠다.
15 I will pour my wrath on Sin, the stronghold of Egypt. I will cut off the multitude of No.And I will pour my wrath upon Sin, the stronghold of Egypt; and I will cut off the multitude of No.내가 이집트의 요새인 신에 나의 진노를 쏟고, 노의 많은 무리를 끊어 버리겠다.
16 I will set a fire in Egypt Sin will be in great anguish. No will be broken up. Memphis will have adversaries in the daytime.And I will set a fire in Egypt: Sin shall be in great anguish, and No shall be broken up; and Memphis shall have adversaries in the day-time.내가 이집트에 불을 놓으리니, 신은 큰 고통에 빠지고 노는 무너질 것이며, 멤피스는 대낮에 대적을 맞을 것이다.
17 The young men of Aven and of Pibeseth will fall by the sword. They will go into captivity.The young men of Aven and of Pi-beseth shall fall by the sword; and these cities shall go into captivity.아웬과 비베셋의 젊은이들이 칼에 쓰러지고, 이 성읍들은 포로로 끌려갈 것이다.
18 At Tehaphnehes also the day will withdraw itself, when I break the yokes of Egypt there. The pride of her power will cease in her. As for her, a cloud will cover her, and her daughters will go into captivity.At Tehaphnehes also the day shall withdraw itself, when I shall break there the yokes of Egypt, and the pride of her power shall cease in her: as for her, a cloud shall cover her, and her daughters shall go into captivity.내가 거기서 이집트의 멍에를 꺾을 때, 드합느헤스에서는 낮이 어두워질 것이며 그 권세의 교만이 그칠 것이다. 구름이 그를 덮고, 그 딸들은 포로로 끌려갈 것이다.
19 Thus I will execute judgments on Egypt. Then they will know that I am Yahweh.”’”Thus will I execute judgments upon Egypt; and they shall know that I am Jehovah.이와 같이 내가 이집트에 심판을 행하리니, 그들은 내가 여호와임을 알게 될 것이다.
20 In the eleventh year, in the first month, in the seventh day of the month, Yahweh’s word came to me, saying,And it came to pass in the eleventh year, in the first month, in the seventh day of the month, that the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,열한째 해 첫째 달 일곱째 날에 여호와의 말씀이 내게 임하여 이르셨다.
21 “ Son of man, I have broken the arm of Pharaoh king of Egypt. Behold, it has not been bound up, to apply medicines, to put a bandage to bind it, that it may become strong to hold the sword.Son of man, I have broken the arm of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and, lo, it hath not been bound up, to apply healing medicines, to put a bandage to bind it, that it be strong to hold the sword.사람의 아들아, 내가 이집트 왕 바로의 팔을 꺾었다. 보아라, 그 팔은 다시 싸매지지 않았으니, 치료하는 약을 바르거나 붕대를 감아 칼을 잡을 만큼 강하게 하지 못하였다.
22 Therefore the Lord Yahweh says: ‘ Behold, I am against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and will break his arms, the strong arm, and that which was broken. I will cause the sword to fall out of his hand.Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I am against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and will break his arms, the strong arm, and that which was broken; and I will cause the sword to fall out of his hand.그러므로 주 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. 보아라, 내가 이집트 왕 바로를 대적하여 그의 팔, 곧 성한 팔과 이미 꺾인 팔을 다 꺾고, 그 손에서 칼이 떨어지게 하겠다.
23 I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and will disperse them through the countries.And I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and will disperse them through the countries.내가 이집트 사람들을 뭇 민족 가운데로 흩고 여러 나라로 흩어지게 하겠다.
24 I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and put my sword in his hand; but I will break the arms of Pharaoh, and he will groan before the king of Babylon with the groaning of a mortally wounded man.And I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and put my sword in his hand: but I will break the arms of Pharaoh, and he shall groan before him with the groanings of a deadly wounded man.내가 바벨론 왕의 팔은 강하게 하여 내 칼을 그의 손에 쥐어 주고, 바로의 팔은 꺾으리니, 그는 치명상을 입은 자가 신음하듯 바벨론 왕 앞에서 신음할 것이다.
25 I will hold up the arms of the king of Babylon, but the arms of Pharaoh will fall down. Then they will know that I am Yahweh when I put my sword into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he stretches it out on the land of Egypt.And I will hold up the arms of the king of Babylon; and the arms of Pharaoh shall fall down; and they shall know that I am Jehovah, when I shall put my sword into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall stretch it out upon the land of Egypt.내가 바벨론 왕의 팔은 붙들어 주고 바로의 팔은 떨어지게 하겠다. 내가 내 칼을 바벨론 왕의 손에 쥐어 주어 그가 이집트 땅을 향하여 그것을 휘두를 때, 그들은 내가 여호와임을 알게 될 것이다.

Then they will know that I am Yahweh.’”And I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and disperse them through the countries; and they shall know that I am Jehovah.내가 이집트 사람들을 뭇 민족 가운데로 흩고 여러 나라로 흩어지게 하리니, 그들은 내가 여호와임을 알게 될 것이다.
