1 Yahweh’s word came again to me, saying,The word of Jehovah came again unto me, saying,여호와의 말씀이 다시 내게 임하여 이르셨다.
2 “ Son of man, there were two women, the daughters of one mother.Son of man, there were two women, the daughters of one mother:사람아, 한 어머니에게서 난 두 여인이 있었다.
3 They played the prostitute in Egypt. They played the prostitute in their youth. Their breasts were fondled there, and their youthful nipples were caressed there.and they played the harlot in Egypt; they played the harlot in their youth; there were their breasts pressed, and there was handled the bosom of their virginity.그들이 이집트에서 음행하였으니, 어려서부터 음행하였다. 그곳에서 그들의 가슴이 눌렸고, 그 처녀의 품이 만져졌다.
4 Their names were Oholah the elder, and Oholibah her sister. They became mine, and they bore sons and daughters. As for their names, Samaria is Oholah, and Jerusalem Oholibah.And the names of them were Oholah the elder, and Oholibah her sister: and they became mine, and they bare sons and daughters. And as for their names, Samaria is Oholah, and Jerusalem Oholibah.그들의 이름은 언니가 오홀라요, 그 동생이 오홀리바였다. 그들은 내 것이 되어 아들딸을 낳았다. 그 이름을 말하자면, 오홀라는 사마리아요, 오홀리바는 예루살렘이다.
5 “Oholah played the prostitute when she was mine. She doted on her lovers, on the Assyrians her neighbors,And Oholah played the harlot when she was mine; and she doted on her lovers, on the Assyrians her neighbors,오홀라는 내게 속하였으면서도 음행하여, 자기 정부들, 곧 이웃한 앗시리아 사람들을 사모하였다.
6 who were clothed with blue — governors and rulers, all of them desirable young men, horsemen riding on horses.who were clothed with blue, governors and rulers, all of them desirable young men, horsemen riding upon horses.그들은 자주색 옷을 입은 총독들과 관리들로, 다 사모할 만한 젊은이들이요, 말을 탄 기마병들이었다.
7 She gave herself as a prostitute to them, all of them the choicest men of Assyria. She defiled herself with the idols of whomever she lusted after.And she bestowed her whoredoms upon them, the choicest men of Assyria all of them; and on whomsoever she doted, with all their idols she defiled herself.그 여인이 앗시리아의 가장 뛰어난 자들 모두에게 자기 음행을 쏟아부었고, 자기가 사모한 모든 자의 온갖 우상으로 자기를 더럽혔다.
8 She hasn’t left her prostitution since leaving Egypt; for in her youth they lay with her. They caressed her youthful nipples and they poured out their prostitution on her.Neither hath she left her whoredoms since the days of Egypt; for in her youth they lay with her, and they handled the bosom of her virginity; and they poured out their whoredom upon her.그 여인은 이집트에서부터의 음행을 버리지 않았으니, 어려서 사람들이 그와 동침하여 그 처녀의 품을 만지고 그에게 자기들의 음욕을 쏟아부었기 때문이다.
9 “ Therefore I delivered her into the hand of her lovers, into the hand of the Assyrians on whom she doted.Wherefore I delivered her into the hand of her lovers, into the hand of the Assyrians, upon whom she doted.그러므로 내가 그를 그의 정부들의 손에, 곧 그가 사모한 앗시리아 사람들의 손에 넘겨주었다.
10 These uncovered her nakedness. They took her sons and her daughters, and they killed her with the sword. She became a byword among women; for they executed judgments on her.These uncovered her nakedness; they took her sons and her daughters; and her they slew with the sword: and she became a byword among women; for they executed judgments upon her.그들이 그의 벌거벗은 몸을 드러내고, 그의 아들딸을 잡아가고, 그를 칼로 죽였다. 이렇게 그들이 그에게 심판을 행하니, 그가 여인들 사이에서 이야깃거리가 되었다.
11 “ Her sister Oholibah saw this, yet she was more corrupt in her lusting than she, and in her prostitution which was more depraved than the prostitution of her sister.And her sister Oholibah saw this, yet was she more corrupt in her doting than she, and in her whoredoms which were more than the whoredoms of her sister.그 동생 오홀리바가 이것을 보았으나, 사모하는 일에서 언니보다 더 부패하였고, 그 음행은 언니의 음행보다 더 심하였다.
12 She lusted after the Assyrians, governors and rulers — her neighbors, clothed most gorgeously, horsemen riding on horses, all of them desirable young men.She doted upon the Assyrians, governors and rulers, her neighbors, clothed most gorgeously, horsemen riding upon horses, all of them desirable young men.그가 이웃한 앗시리아 사람들, 곧 화려하게 차려입은 총독들과 관리들과, 말을 탄 기마병들과, 다 사모할 만한 젊은이들을 사모하였다.
13 I saw that she was defiled. They both went the same way.And I saw that she was defiled; they both took one way.그 여인이 더럽혀진 것을 내가 보았으니, 두 여인이 다 같은 길로 갔다.
14 “ She increased her prostitution; for she saw men portrayed on the wall, the images of the Chaldeans portrayed with red,And she increased her whoredoms; for she saw men portrayed upon the wall, the images of the Chaldeans portrayed with vermilion,그 여인이 음행을 더하였으니, 벽에 그려진 사람들, 곧 붉은색으로 그려진 갈대아 사람들의 형상을 보았기 때문이다.
15 dressed with belts on their waists, with flowing turbans on their heads, all of them looking like princes, after the likeness of the Babylonians in Chaldea, the land of their birth.girded with girdles upon their loins, with flowing turbans upon their heads, all of them princes to look upon, after the likeness of the Babylonians in Chaldea, the land of their nativity.그들은 허리에 띠를 두르고, 머리에는 늘어뜨린 두건을 쓴 모습이라, 다 그 출생지인 갈대아의 바벨론 사람들의 모습과 같은, 보기에 군주 같은 자들이었다.
16 As soon as she saw them, she lusted after them and sent messengers to them into Chaldea.And as soon as she saw them she doted upon them, and sent messengers unto them into Chaldea.그 여인은 그들을 보자마자 사모하여, 갈대아로 그들에게 사신을 보냈다.
17 The Babylonians came to her into the bed of love, and they defiled her with their prostitution. She was polluted with them, and her soul was alienated from them.And the Babylonians came to her into the bed of love, and they defiled her with their whoredom, and she was polluted with them, and her soul was alienated from them.바벨론 사람들이 그에게 와서 사랑의 잠자리에 들어 그들의 음행으로 그를 더럽혔다. 그가 그들로 더럽혀진 뒤에는 그의 마음이 그들에게서 멀어졌다.
18 So she uncovered her prostitution and uncovered her nakedness. Then my soul was alienated from her, just like my soul was alienated from her sister.So she uncovered her whoredoms, and uncovered her nakedness: then my soul was alienated from her, like as my soul was alienated from her sister.그가 자기 음행을 드러내고 자기 벌거벗은 몸을 드러내니, 내 마음이 그에게서 멀어졌으니, 그 언니에게서 멀어진 것과 같았다.
19 Yet she multiplied her prostitution, remembering the days of her youth, in which she had played the prostitute in the land of Egypt.Yet she multiplied her whoredoms, remembering the days of her youth, wherein she had played the harlot in the land of Egypt.그러나 그 여인은 어려서 이집트 땅에서 음행하던 날들을 기억하며 자기 음행을 더 많이 행하였다.
20 She lusted after their lovers, whose flesh is as the flesh of donkeys, and whose issue is like the issue of horses.And she doted upon their paramours, whose flesh is as the flesh of asses, and whose issue is like the issue of horses.그가 그 정부들을 사모하였으니, 그들의 몸은 나귀의 몸 같고, 그 정액은 말의 정액 같았다.
21 Thus you called to memory the lewdness of your youth, in the caressing of your nipples by the Egyptians because of your youthful breasts.Thus thou calledst to remembrance the lewdness of thy youth, in the handling of thy bosom by the Egyptians for the breasts of thy youth.이같이 네가 어려서의 음란을 다시 떠올렸으니, 곧 이집트 사람들이 네 어린 가슴을 만지며 네 젊은 날의 가슴을 더듬던 일이었다.
22 “ Therefore, Oholibah, the Lord Yahweh says: ‘ Behold, I will raise up your lovers against you, from whom your soul is alienated, and I will bring them against you on every side:Therefore, O Oholibah, thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I will raise up thy lovers against thee, from whom thy soul is alienated, and I will bring them against thee on every side:그러므로 오홀리바야, 주 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하신다. 보라, 네 마음이 멀어진 네 정부들을 내가 일으켜 네게 대적하게 하고, 사방에서 그들을 네게로 끌어오겠다.
23 the Babylonians and all the Chaldeans, Pekod, Shoa, Koa, and all the Assyrians with them; all of them desirable young men, governors and rulers, princes and men of renown, all of them riding on horses.the Babylonians and all the Chaldeans, Pekod and Shoa and Koa, and all the Assyrians with them; desirable young men, governors and rulers all of them, princes and men of renown, all of them riding upon horses.곧 바벨론 사람들과 모든 갈대아 사람들과, 브곳과 소아와 고아와, 그들과 함께한 모든 앗시리아 사람들이니, 그들은 다 사모할 만한 젊은이들이요, 총독들과 관리들이며, 군주들과 이름난 자들로, 다 말을 탄 자들이다.
24 They will come against you with weapons, chariots, and wagons, and with a company of peoples. They will set themselves against you with buckler, shield, and helmet all around. I will commit the judgment to them, and they will judge you according to their judgments.And they shall come against thee with weapons, chariots, and wagons, and with a company of peoples; they shall set themselves against thee with buckler and shield and helmet round about: and I will commit the judgment unto them, and they shall judge thee according to their judgments.그들이 무기와 병거와 수레와 무리를 거느리고 너를 치러 와서, 큰 방패와 작은 방패와 투구를 갖추고 너를 사방에서 에워싸리라. 내가 그들에게 심판을 맡기니, 그들이 자기들의 법대로 너를 심판하리라.
25 I will set my jealousy against you, and they will deal with you in fury. They will take away your nose and your ears. Your remnant will fall by the sword. They will take your sons and your daughters; and the rest of you will be devoured by the fire.And I will set my jealousy against thee, and they shall deal with thee in fury; they shall take away thy nose and thine ears; and thy residue shall fall by the sword: they shall take thy sons and thy daughters; and thy residue shall be devoured by the fire.내가 너를 향해 내 질투를 두니, 그들이 분노로 너를 다루어 네 코와 귀를 베어 내며, 남은 자들은 칼에 쓰러지리라. 그들이 네 아들딸을 잡아가고, 남은 자들은 불에 삼켜지리라.
26 They will also strip you of your clothes and take away your beautiful jewels.They shall also strip thee of thy clothes, and take away thy fair jewels.또 그들이 네 옷을 벗기고 네 아름다운 보석을 빼앗으리라.
27 Thus I will make your lewdness to cease from you, and remove your prostitution from the land of Egypt, so that you will not lift up your eyes to them, nor remember Egypt any more.’Thus will I make thy lewdness to cease from thee, and thy whoredom brought from the land of Egypt; so that thou shalt not lift up thine eyes unto them, nor remember Egypt any more.이같이 내가 네 음란과, 이집트 땅에서부터 가져온 네 음행을 그치게 하리니, 네가 다시는 그들에게 눈을 들지 아니하고 이집트를 더는 기억하지 아니하리라.
28 “ For the Lord Yahweh says: ‘ Behold, I will deliver you into the hand of them whom you hate, into the hand of them from whom your soul is alienated.For thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I will deliver thee into the hand of them whom thou hatest, into the hand of them from whom thy soul is alienated;주 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하신다. 보라, 네가 미워하는 자들의 손에, 곧 네 마음이 멀어진 자들의 손에 내가 너를 넘기겠다.
29 They will deal with you in hatred, and will take away all your labor, and will leave you naked and bare. The nakedness of your prostitution will be uncovered, both your lewdness and your prostitution.and they shall deal with thee in hatred, and shall take away all thy labor, and shall leave thee naked and bare; and the nakedness of thy whoredoms shall be uncovered, both thy lewdness and thy whoredoms.그들이 미움으로 너를 다루어 네 모든 수고한 것을 빼앗고, 너를 벌거벗고 헐벗은 채로 버려두리라. 그리하여 네 음행의 벌거벗음과 네 음란과 네 음행이 드러나리라.
30 These things will be done to you because you have played the prostitute after the nations, and because you are polluted with their idols.These things shall be done unto thee, for that thou hast played the harlot after the nations, and because thou art polluted with their idols.네가 이방 나라들을 따라 음행하고 그들의 우상으로 더럽혀졌으므로, 이런 일이 네게 임하리라.
31 You have walked in the way of your sister; therefore I will give her cup into your hand.’Thou hast walked in the way of thy sister; therefore will I give her cup into thy hand.네가 네 언니의 길로 걸었으니, 내가 그의 잔을 네 손에 쥐어 주리라.
32 “ The Lord Yahweh says: ‘ You will drink of your sister’s cup, which is deep and large. You will be ridiculed and held in derision. It contains much.Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Thou shalt drink of thy sister’s cup, which is deep and large; thou shalt be laughed to scorn and had in derision; it containeth much.주 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하신다. 너는 네 언니의 잔, 곧 깊고 큰 잔을 마시리니, 그 잔에 가득하므로 네가 비웃음과 조롱거리가 되리라.
33 You will be filled with drunkenness and sorrow, with the cup of astonishment and desolation, with the cup of your sister Samaria.Thou shalt be filled with drunkenness and sorrow, with the cup of astonishment and desolation, with the cup of thy sister Samaria.네가 취함과 슬픔으로 가득 차리니, 곧 놀람과 황폐의 잔이요, 네 언니 사마리아의 잔이다.
34 You will even drink it and drain it out. You will gnaw the broken pieces of it, and will tear your breasts; for I have spoken it,’ says the Lord Yahweh.Thou shalt even drink it and drain it out, and thou shalt gnaw the sherds thereof, and shalt tear thy breasts; for I have spoken it, saith the Lord Jehovah.네가 그것을 마시고 다 비우며, 그 깨진 조각을 씹고 네 가슴을 찢으리라. 내가 이것을 말하였다고 주 여호와께서 말씀하신다.
35 “ Therefore the Lord Yahweh says: ‘ Because you have forgotten me and cast me behind your back, therefore you also bear your lewdness and your prostitution.’”Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because thou hast forgotten me, and cast me behind thy back, therefore bear thou also thy lewdness and thy whoredoms.그러므로 주 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하신다. 네가 나를 잊고 나를 네 등 뒤로 던졌으므로, 너도 네 음란과 네 음행의 벌을 지리라.
36 Yahweh said moreover to me: “ Son of man, will you judge Oholah and Oholibah? Then declare to them their abominations.Jehovah said moreover unto me: Son of man, wilt thou judge Oholah and Oholibah? then declare unto them their abominations.여호와께서 또 내게 말씀하셨다. 사람아, 네가 오홀라와 오홀리바를 심판하려느냐? 그렇다면 그들에게 그 가증한 일들을 알려라.
37 For they have committed adultery, and blood is in their hands. They have committed adultery with their idols. They have also caused their sons, whom they bore to me, to pass through the fire to them to be devoured.For they have committed adultery, and blood is in their hands; and with their idols have they committed adultery; and they have also caused their sons, whom they bare unto me, to pass through the fire unto them to be devoured.그들이 간음을 저지르고 손에 피를 묻혔으며, 그 우상들과 간음하였고, 또 내게 낳아 준 자기 아들들을 우상들에게 불 가운데로 지나가게 하여 삼키게 하였다.
38 Moreover this they have done to me: they have defiled my sanctuary in the same day, and have profaned my Sabbaths.Moreover this they have done unto me: they have defiled my sanctuary in the same day, and have profaned my sabbaths.또 그들이 내게 이런 일을 행하였으니, 바로 그날에 내 성소를 더럽히고 내 안식일을 더럽혔다.
39 For when they had slain their children to their idols, then they came the same day into my sanctuary to profane it; and behold, they have done this in the middle of my house.For when they had slain their children to their idols, then they came the same day into my sanctuary to profane it; and, lo, thus have they done in the midst of my house.그들이 자기 자녀를 우상들에게 죽여 바치고는, 바로 그날에 내 성소에 들어와 그곳을 더럽혔으니, 보라, 그들이 내 집 안에서 이같이 행하였다.
40 “ Furthermore you sisters have sent for men who come from far away, to whom a messenger was sent, and behold, they came; for whom you washed yourself, painted your eyes, decorated yourself with ornaments,And furthermore ye have sent for men that come from far, unto whom a messenger was sent, and, lo, they came; for whom thou didst wash thyself, paint thine eyes, and deck thyself with ornaments,더욱이 너희가 먼 곳에서 오는 사람들을 부르려고 사신을 보내니, 보라, 그들이 왔다. 너는 그들을 위하여 몸을 씻고 눈을 그리고 장신구로 단장하였으며,
41 and sat on a stately bed, with a table prepared before it, whereupon you set my incense and my oil.and sit upon a stately bed, with a table prepared before it, whereupon thou didst set mine incense and mine oil.화려한 침상에 앉고 그 앞에 상을 차려, 그 위에 내 향과 내 기름을 두었다.
42 “ The voice of a multitude being at ease was with her. With men of the common sort were brought drunkards from the wilderness; and they put bracelets on their hands, and beautiful crowns on their heads.And the voice of a multitude being at ease was with her: and with men of the common sort were brought drunkards from the wilderness; and they put bracelets upon the hands of them twain, and beautiful crowns upon their heads.한가로이 즐기는 무리의 소리가 그에게 있었으니, 보통 사람들 가운데 광야에서 데려온 술 취한 자들도 있었다. 그들이 두 여인의 손에 팔찌를 끼우고 머리에 아름다운 면류관을 씌웠다.
43 Then I said of her who was old in adulteries, ‘ Now they will play the prostitute with her, and she with them.’Then said I of her that was old in adulteries, Now will they play the harlot with her, and she with them.그때에 내가 간음으로 늙은 여인을 두고 말하였다. 이제 그들이 그와 음행하고 그도 그들과 음행하겠구나.
44 They went in to her, as they go in to a prostitute. So they went in to Oholah and to Oholibah, the lewd women.And they went in unto her, as they go in unto a harlot: so went they in unto Oholah and unto Oholibah, the lewd women.사람이 창녀에게 들어가듯이 그들이 그에게 들어갔으니, 곧 음란한 여인들인 오홀라와 오홀리바에게 그같이 들어갔다.
45 Righteous men will judge them with the judgment of adulteresses and with the judgment of women who shed blood, because they are adulteresses, and blood is in their hands.And righteous men, they shall judge them with the judgment of adulteresses, and with the judgment of women that shed blood; because they are adulteresses, and blood is in their hands.의로운 사람들이 간음한 여인을 심판하는 법과 피 흘린 여인을 심판하는 법으로 그들을 심판하리니, 이는 그들이 간음한 여인들이요 그 손에 피가 묻었기 때문이다.
46 “ For the Lord Yahweh says: ‘ I will bring up a mob against them, and will give them to be tossed back and forth and robbed.For thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I will bring up a company against them, and will give them to be tossed to and fro and robbed.주 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하신다. 내가 한 무리를 그들에게 끌어올려, 그들을 이리저리 내던져지고 노략당하게 하리라.
47 The company will stone them with stones and dispatch them with their swords. They will kill their sons and their daughters, and burn up their houses with fire.And the company shall stone them with stones, and despatch them with their swords; they shall slay their sons and their daughters, and burn up their houses with fire.그 무리가 돌로 그들을 치고 칼로 베며, 그들의 아들딸을 죽이고 그들의 집을 불사르리라.
48 “‘ Thus I will cause lewdness to cease out of the land, that all women may be taught not to be lewd like you.Thus will I cause lewdness to cease out of the land, that all women may be taught not to do after your lewdness.이같이 내가 음란을 그 땅에서 그치게 하여, 모든 여인이 너희의 음란을 본받지 않도록 가르침을 받게 하리라.
49 They will recompense your lewdness on you, and you will bear the sins of your idols. Then you will know that I am the Lord Yahweh.’”And they shall recompense your lewdness upon you, and ye shall bear the sins of your idols; and ye shall know that I am the Lord Jehovah.그들이 너희의 음란을 너희에게 갚으리니, 너희가 너희 우상들의 죄를 지고, 내가 주 여호와인 줄을 너희가 알리라.
