1 Yahweh’s word came to me, saying,And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,여호와의 말씀이 내게 임하여 이르시되,
2 “ Son of man, set your face toward Jerusalem, and preach toward the sanctuaries, and prophesy against the land of Israel.Son of man, set thy face toward Jerusalem, and drop thy word toward the sanctuaries, and prophesy against the land of Israel;사람아, 네 얼굴을 예루살렘으로 향하고 성소들을 향해 말을 쏟아내며 이스라엘 땅을 향해 예언하라.
3 Tell the land of Israel, ‘ Yahweh says: “ Behold, I am against you, and will draw my sword out of its sheath, and will cut off from you the righteous and the wicked.and say to the land of Israel, Thus saith Jehovah: Behold, I am against thee, and will draw forth my sword out of its sheath, and will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked.이스라엘 땅에게 이렇게 전하여라. 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하신다. 보라, 내가 너를 대적하여 내 칼을 칼집에서 빼어 의인과 악인을 너에게서 끊어 버리겠다.
4 Seeing then that I will cut off from you the righteous and the wicked, therefore my sword will go out of its sheath against all flesh from the south to the north.Seeing then that I will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked, therefore shall my sword go forth out of its sheath against all flesh from the south to the north:내가 의인과 악인을 너에게서 끊어 버릴 것이므로, 내 칼이 칼집에서 나와 남쪽에서 북쪽까지 모든 육체를 칠 것이다.
5 All flesh will know that I, Yahweh, have drawn my sword out of its sheath. It will not return any more.”’and all flesh shall know that I, Jehovah, have drawn forth my sword out of its sheath; it shall not return any more.그러면 모든 육체가 나 여호와가 내 칼을 칼집에서 빼냈음을 알 것이니, 그 칼이 다시는 칼집으로 돌아가지 않으리라.
6 “ Therefore sigh, you son of man. You shall sigh before their eyes with a broken heart and with bitterness.Sigh therefore, thou son of man; with the breaking of thy loins and with bitterness shalt thou sigh before their eyes.그러므로 사람아, 너는 탄식하여라. 허리가 끊어지는 듯한 아픔과 쓰라림으로 그들이 보는 앞에서 탄식하여라.
7 It shall be, when they ask you, ‘Why do you sigh?’ that you shall say, ‘ Because of the news, for it comes! Every heart will melt, all hands will be feeble, every spirit will faint, and all knees will be weak as water. Behold, it comes, and it shall be done, says the Lord Yahweh.’”And it shall be, when they say unto thee, Wherefore sighest thou? that thou shalt say, Because of the tidings, for it cometh; and every heart shall melt, and all hands shall be feeble, and every spirit shall faint, and all knees shall be weak as water: behold, it cometh, and it shall be done, saith the Lord Jehovah.그들이 너에게 "어찌하여 탄식하느냐?"고 묻거든, 너는 이렇게 대답하여라. "소식 때문이다. 그것이 다가오고 있으니, 모든 마음이 녹고 모든 손이 늘어지며 모든 영이 쇠약해지고 모든 무릎이 물처럼 약해질 것이다. 보라, 그것이 다가오니 반드시 이루어지리라." 주 여호와의 말씀이다.
8 Yahweh’s word came to me, saying,And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,여호와의 말씀이 내게 임하여 이르시되,
9 “Son of man, prophesy, and say, ‘ Yahweh says: “ A sword! A sword! It is sharpened, and also polished.Son of man, prophesy, and say, Thus saith Jehovah: Say, A sword, a sword, it is sharpened, and also furbished;사람아, 예언하여 말하여라. 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하신다. 말하여라. 칼이로다, 칼이로다. 날카롭게 갈렸고 또한 번쩍이게 닦였구나.
10 It is sharpened that it may make a slaughter. It is polished that it may be as lightning. Should we then make mirth? The rod of my son condemns every tree.it is sharpened that it may make a slaughter; it is furbished that it may be as lightning: shall we then make mirth? the rod of my son, it contemneth every tree.살육을 행하려고 날카롭게 갈렸고, 번개처럼 번쩍이려고 닦였도다. 그런데 우리가 어찌 기뻐하겠느냐? 그것은 모든 나무를 멸시하는 내 아들의 막대기로다.
11 It is given to be polished, that it may be handled. The sword is sharpened. Yes, it is polished to give it into the hand of the killer.”’And it is given to be furbished, that it may be handled: the sword, it is sharpened, yea, it is furbished, to give it into the hand of the slayer.그 칼은 손에 잡히도록 닦으라고 주어졌으니, 곧 죽이는 자의 손에 넘겨주려고 날카롭게 갈리고 번쩍이게 닦인 칼이로다.
12 Cry and wail, son of man; for it is on my people. It is on all the princes of Israel. They are delivered over to the sword with my people. Therefore beat your thigh.Cry and wail, son of man; for it is upon my people, it is upon all the princes of Israel: they are delivered over to the sword with my people; smite therefore upon thy thigh.사람아, 부르짖고 통곡하여라. 이는 그 칼이 내 백성을 치고 이스라엘의 모든 지도자들을 치기 때문이다. 그들은 내 백성과 함께 칼에 넘겨졌으니, 그러므로 너는 네 넓적다리를 쳐라.
13 “ For there is a trial. What if even the rod that condemns will be no more?” says the Lord Yahweh.For there is a trial; and what if even the rod that contemneth shall be no more? saith the Lord Jehovah.이는 시험이 있기 때문이다. 멸시하는 그 막대기마저 더 이상 없게 된다면 어찌하겠느냐? 주 여호와의 말씀이다.
14 “ You therefore, son of man, prophesy, and strike your hands together. Let the sword be doubled the third time, the sword of the fatally wounded. It is the sword of the great one who is fatally wounded, which enters into their rooms.Thou therefore, son of man, prophesy, and smite thy hands together; and let the sword be doubled the third time, the sword of the deadly wounded: it is the sword of the great one that is deadly wounded, which entereth into their chambers.그러므로 사람아, 너는 예언하며 두 손을 마주쳐라. 그 칼이 두 번, 세 번 거듭 임하게 하여라. 그것은 죽도록 상하게 하는 칼이니, 그들의 방까지 들이닥치는 큰 자를 죽도록 상하게 하는 칼이로다.
15 I have set the threatening sword against all their gates, that their heart may melt, and their stumblings be multiplied. Ah! It is made as lightning. It is pointed for slaughter.I have set the threatening sword against all their gates, that their heart may melt, and their stumblings be multiplied: ah! it is made as lightning, it is pointed for slaughter.내가 그들의 모든 성문에 위협하는 칼을 두어 그들의 마음이 녹고 넘어지는 자가 많아지게 하였노라. 아, 그 칼이 번개처럼 만들어졌고 살육을 위해 날카롭게 다듬어졌도다.
16 Gather yourselves together. Go to the right. Set yourselves in array. Go to the left, wherever your face is set.Gather thee together, go to the right, set thyself in array, go to the left, whithersoever thy face is set.너는 한데 모여 오른쪽으로 가고, 대열을 지어 왼쪽으로 가라. 네 얼굴이 향하는 곳 어디로든 가라.
17 I will also strike my hands together, and I will cause my wrath to rest. I, Yahweh, have spoken it.”I will also smite my hands together, and I will cause my wrath to rest: I, Jehovah, have spoken it.나도 내 두 손을 마주쳐 내 진노를 쏟아 가라앉히리라. 나 여호와가 말하였노라.
18 Yahweh’s word came to me again, saying,The word of Jehovah came unto me again, saying,여호와의 말씀이 다시 내게 임하여 이르시되,
19 “ Also, you son of man, appoint two ways, that the sword of the king of Babylon may come. They both will come out of one land, and mark out a place. Mark it out at the head of the way to the city.Also, thou son of man, appoint thee two ways, that the sword of the king of Babylon may come; they twain shall come forth out of one land: and mark out a place, mark it out at the head of the way to the city.사람아, 너는 바벨론 왕의 칼이 들어올 두 길을 정하여라. 두 길이 한 땅에서 갈라져 나오게 하고, 그 성으로 가는 길목에 표지판을 세워라.
20 You shall appoint a way for the sword to come to Rabbah of the children of Ammon, and to Judah in Jerusalem the fortified.Thou shalt appoint a way for the sword to come to Rabbah of the children of Ammon, and to Judah in Jerusalem the fortified.너는 칼이 암몬 자손의 랍바로 가는 길과, 유다와 견고한 성 예루살렘으로 가는 길을 정하여라.
21 For the king of Babylon stood at the parting of the way, at the head of the two ways, to use divination. He shook the arrows back and forth. He consulted the teraphim. 22 In his right hand was the lot for Jerusalem, to set battering rams, to open the mouth in the slaughter, to lift up the voice with shouting, to set battering rams against the gates, to cast up mounds, and to build forts.In his right hand was the divination for Jerusalem, to set battering rams, to open the mouth in the slaughter, to lift up the voice with shouting, to set battering rams against the gates, to cast up mounds, to build forts.그의 오른손에 예루살렘을 향한 점괘가 잡혔으니, 곧 공성 망치를 설치하고 살육의 외침으로 입을 열며 소리를 높여 함성을 지르고, 성문을 향해 공성 망치를 두고 토성을 쌓고 망대를 세우라는 점괘였다.
23 It will be to them as a false divination in their sight, who have sworn oaths to them; but he brings iniquity to memory, that they may be taken.And it shall be unto them as a false divination in their sight, who have sworn oaths unto them; but he bringeth iniquity to remembrance, that they may be taken.그들에게 맹세로 언약을 맺은 자들의 눈에는 이것이 거짓 점괘처럼 보일 것이나, 그분께서는 그들의 죄악을 기억나게 하여 그들이 사로잡히게 하시리라.
24 “Therefore the Lord Yahweh says: ‘ Because you have caused your iniquity to be remembered, in that your transgressions are uncovered, so that in all your doings your sins appear; because you have come to memory, you will be taken with the hand.Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because ye have made your iniquity to be remembered, in that your transgressions are uncovered, so that in all your doings your sins do appear; because that ye are come to remembrance, ye shall be taken with the hand.그러므로 주 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하신다. 너희가 너희 죄악을 드러내어 기억나게 하였으니, 곧 너희의 허물이 드러나 너희의 모든 행위에서 너희 죄가 나타났으므로, 너희가 기억된 바 되어 그 손에 사로잡히리라.
25 “‘ You, deadly wounded wicked one, the prince of Israel, whose day has come, in the time of the iniquity of the end,And thou, O deadly wounded wicked one, the prince of Israel, whose day is come, in the time of the iniquity of the end,너 죽도록 상한 악한 자, 이스라엘의 지도자야, 네 날이 이르렀으니 죄악이 끝나는 때로다.
26 the Lord Yahweh says: “Remove the turban, and take off the crown. This will not be as it was. Exalt that which is low, and humble that which is high.thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Remove the mitre, and take off the crown; this shall be no more the same; exalt that which is low, and abase that which is high.주 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하신다. 그 관을 벗기고 면류관을 거두어라. 이것이 더 이상 그대로 있지 못하리라. 낮은 것을 높이고 높은 것을 낮추리라.
27 I will overturn, overturn, overturn it. This also will be no more, until he comes whose right it is; and I will give it.”’I will overturn, overturn, overturn it: this also shall be no more, until he come whose right it is; and I will give it him.내가 엎고 엎고 또 엎으리라. 마땅히 받을 권리를 가진 이가 올 때까지 이것도 더 이상 없으리니, 내가 그에게 그것을 주리라.
28 “ You, son of man, prophesy and say, ‘ The Lord Yahweh says this concerning the children of Ammon, and concerning their reproach: “ A sword! A sword is drawn! It is polished for the slaughter, to cause it to devour, that it may be as lightning;And thou, son of man, prophesy, and say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah concerning the children of Ammon, and concerning their reproach; and say thou, A sword, a sword is drawn, for the slaughter it is furbished, to cause it to devour, that it may be as lightning;사람아, 너는 예언하여 말하여라. 주 여호와께서 암몬 자손과 그들의 모욕에 관하여 이같이 말씀하신다. 너는 말하여라. 칼이로다, 칼이 뽑혔도다. 살육을 위해 닦였으니, 삼키도록, 번개처럼 번쩍이도록 다듬어졌도다.
29 while they see for you false visions, while they divine lies to you, to lay you on the necks of the wicked who are deadly wounded, whose day has come in the time of the iniquity of the end.while they see for thee false visions, while they divine lies unto thee, to lay thee upon the necks of the wicked that are deadly wounded, whose day is come in the time of the iniquity of the end.사람들이 너를 위해 거짓 환상을 보고 너에게 거짓을 점쳐 줄 때에, 곧 죽도록 상한 악인들의 목 위에 너를 두어 그 날이 이른 자, 죄악이 끝나는 때에 이른 자가 되게 하려 하는도다.
30 Cause it to return into its sheath. In the place where you were created, in the land of your birth, I will judge you.Cause it to return into its sheath. In the place where thou wast created, in the land of thy birth, will I judge thee.그 칼을 칼집으로 도로 넣어라. 네가 창조된 곳에서, 네가 태어난 땅에서 내가 너를 심판하리라.
31 I will pour out my indignation on you. I will blow on you with the fire of my wrath. I will deliver you into the hand of brutish men, skillful to destroy.And I will pour out mine indignation upon thee; I will blow upon thee with the fire of my wrath; and I will deliver thee into the hand of brutish men, skilful to destroy.내가 내 분노를 네게 쏟고 내 진노의 불을 네게 불며, 너를 멸하기에 능숙한 잔인한 사람들의 손에 넘기리라.
32 You will be for fuel to the fire. Your blood will be in the middle of the land. You will be remembered no more; for I, Yahweh, have spoken it.”’”Thou shalt be for fuel to the fire; thy blood shall be in the midst of the land; thou shalt be no more remembered: for I, Jehovah, have spoken it.너는 불에 탈 땔감이 되고 네 피가 그 땅 가운데 흐를 것이며, 너는 다시는 기억되지 못하리라. 나 여호와가 말하였노라.
