1 Moreover Yahweh’s word came to me, saying,Moreover the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,또 여호와의 말씀이 내게 임하여 이르셨다.
2 “ You, son of man, will you judge? Will you judge the bloody city? Then cause her to know all her abominations.And thou, son of man, wilt thou judge, wilt thou judge the bloody city? then cause her to know all her abominations.너 인자야, 네가 심판하려느냐, 이 피 흘린 성읍을 네가 심판하려느냐? 그렇다면 그 성읍이 저지른 모든 가증한 일을 그에게 알게 하여라.
3 You shall say, ‘ The Lord Yahweh says: “ A city that sheds blood within herself, that her time may come, and that makes idols against herself to defile her!And thou shalt say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: A city that sheddeth blood in the midst of her, that her time may come, and that maketh idols against herself to defile her!너는 이렇게 말하여라. 주 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. 자기 가운데서 피를 흘려 자기의 때가 이르게 하고, 우상을 만들어 스스로를 더럽힌 성읍아!
4 You have become guilty in your blood that you have shed, and are defiled in your idols which you have made! You have caused your days to draw near, and have come to the end of your years. Therefore I have made you a reproach to the nations, and a mocking to all the countries.Thou art become guilty in thy blood that thou hast shed, and art defiled in thine idols which thou hast made; and thou hast caused thy days to draw near, and art come even unto thy years: therefore have I made thee a reproach unto the nations, and a mocking to all the countries.너는 흘린 피로 인해 죄가 있게 되었고, 네가 만든 우상으로 더럽혀졌다. 너는 네 날들이 가까이 오게 하였고, 네 햇수에 이르렀다. 그러므로 내가 너를 뭇 나라의 조롱거리가 되게 하고, 모든 지방의 웃음거리가 되게 하였다.
5 Those who are near and those who are far from you will mock you, you infamous one, full of tumult.Those that are near, and those that are far from thee, shall mock thee, thou infamous one and full of tumult.가까이 있는 자들과 너에게서 멀리 있는 자들이 다 너를 비웃을 것이다. 악명 높고 소란으로 가득한 자여.
6 “‘“ Behold, the princes of Israel, everyone according to his power, have been in you to shed blood.Behold, the princes of Israel, every one according to his power, have been in thee to shed blood.보아라, 이스라엘의 통치자들이 저마다 자기 권력대로 네 안에서 피를 흘렸다.
7 In you have they treated father and mother with contempt. Among you they have oppressed the foreigner. In you they have wronged the fatherless and the widow.In thee have they set light by father and mother; in the midst of thee have they dealt by oppression with the sojourner; in thee have they wronged the fatherless and the widow.네 안에서 그들은 아버지와 어머니를 업신여겼고, 네 가운데서 나그네를 압제로 학대하였으며, 네 안에서 고아와 과부를 억울하게 하였다.
8 You have despised my holy things, and have profaned my Sabbaths.Thou hast despised my holy things, and hast profaned my sabbaths.너는 나의 거룩한 것들을 멸시하였고, 나의 안식일을 더럽혔다.
9 Slanderous men have been in you to shed blood. In you they have eaten on the mountains. They have committed lewdness among you.Slanderous men have been in thee to shed blood; and in thee they have eaten upon the mountains: in the midst of thee they have committed lewdness.비방하는 자들이 네 안에 있어 피를 흘렸고, 네 안에서 그들은 산 위에서 우상에게 바친 것을 먹었으며, 네 가운데서 음란한 짓을 행하였다.
10 In you have they uncovered their fathers’ nakedness. In you have they humbled her who was unclean in her impurity.In thee have they uncovered their fathers’ nakedness; in thee have they humbled her that was unclean in her impurity.네 안에서 그들은 자기 아버지의 하체를 드러냈고, 네 안에서 그들은 부정한 가운데 있는 여인을 욕보였다.
11 One has committed abomination with his neighbor’s wife, and another has lewdly defiled his daughter-in-law. Another in you has humbled his sister, his father’s daughter.And one hath committed abomination with his neighbor’s wife; and another hath lewdly defiled his daughter-in-law; and another in thee hath humbled his sister, his father’s daughter.어떤 자는 이웃의 아내와 가증한 짓을 행하였고, 또 어떤 자는 음란하게 며느리를 더럽혔으며, 또 어떤 자는 네 안에서 자기 누이 곧 아버지의 딸을 욕보였다.
12 In you have they taken bribes to shed blood. You have taken interest and increase, and you have greedily gained of your neighbors by oppression, and have forgotten me,” says the Lord Yahweh.In thee have they taken bribes to shed blood; thou hast taken interest and increase, and thou hast greedily gained of thy neighbors by oppression, and hast forgotten me, saith the Lord Jehovah.네 안에서 그들은 뇌물을 받고 피를 흘렸으며, 너는 이자와 이익을 받았고, 압제로 네 이웃에게서 탐욕스럽게 이득을 취하였으며, 나를 잊어버렸다. 주 여호와의 말씀이다.
13 “‘“ Behold, therefore I have struck my hand at your dishonest gain which you have made, and at the blood which has been shed within you.Behold, therefore, I have smitten my hand at thy dishonest gain which thou hast made, and at thy blood which hath been in the midst of thee.보아라, 그러므로 내가 네가 취한 부정한 이득과 네 가운데 있었던 피흘림을 두고 손바닥을 쳤다.
14 Can your heart endure, or can your hands be strong, in the days that I will deal with you? I, Yahweh, have spoken it, and will do it.Can thy heart endure, or can thy hands be strong, in the days that I shall deal with thee? I, Jehovah, have spoken it, and will do it.내가 너를 다룰 그 날에 네 마음이 견디겠느냐, 네 손이 강할 수 있겠느냐? 나 여호와가 말하였으니 그대로 행할 것이다.
15 I will scatter you among the nations, and disperse you through the countries. I will purge your filthiness out of you.And I will scatter thee among the nations, and disperse thee through the countries; and I will consume thy filthiness out of thee.내가 너를 뭇 나라 가운데 흩고, 여러 지방으로 분산시켜, 네 더러움을 네게서 다 없애 버릴 것이다.
16 You will be profaned in yourself in the sight of the nations. Then you will know that I am Yahweh.”’”And thou shalt be profaned in thyself, in the sight of the nations; and thou shalt know that I am Jehovah.너는 뭇 나라가 보는 앞에서 네 스스로 더럽혀질 것이며, 그제야 내가 여호와인 줄을 알게 될 것이다.
17 Yahweh’s word came to me, saying,And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,여호와의 말씀이 내게 임하여 이르셨다.
18 “ Son of man, the house of Israel has become dross to me. All of them are bronze, tin, iron, and lead in the middle of the furnace. They are the dross of silver.Son of man, the house of Israel is become dross unto me: all of them are brass and tin and iron and lead, in the midst of the furnace; they are the dross of silver.인자야, 이스라엘 족속이 내게 찌꺼기가 되었다. 그들은 모두 풀무 가운데 있는 놋과 주석과 쇠와 납이니, 곧 은의 찌꺼기다.
19 Therefore the Lord Yahweh says: ‘ Because you have all become dross, therefore, behold, I will gather you into the middle of Jerusalem.Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because ye are all become dross, therefore, behold, I will gather you into the midst of Jerusalem.그러므로 주 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. 너희가 모두 찌꺼기가 되었으니, 보아라, 내가 너희를 예루살렘 가운데로 모을 것이다.
20 As they gather silver, bronze, iron, lead, and tin into the middle of the furnace, to blow the fire on it, to melt it, so I will gather you in my anger and in my wrath, and I will lay you there and melt you.As they gather silver and brass and iron and lead and tin into the midst of the furnace, to blow the fire upon it, to melt it; so will I gather you in mine anger and in my wrath, and I will lay you there, and melt you.사람들이 은과 놋과 쇠와 납과 주석을 풀무 가운데 모아 그 위에 불을 불어 녹이는 것같이, 내가 나의 분노와 진노로 너희를 모아 거기에 두고 너희를 녹일 것이다.
21 Yes, I will gather you, and blow on you with the fire of my wrath, and you will be melted in the middle of it.Yea, I will gather you, and blow upon you with the fire of my wrath, and ye shall be melted in the midst thereof.그렇다, 내가 너희를 모아 나의 진노의 불로 너희에게 불 것이니, 너희가 그 가운데서 녹을 것이다.
22 As silver is melted in the middle of the furnace, so you will be melted in the middle of it; and you will know that I, Yahweh, have poured out my wrath on you.’”As silver is melted in the midst of the furnace, so shall ye be melted in the midst thereof; and ye shall know that I, Jehovah, have poured out my wrath upon you.은이 풀무 가운데서 녹는 것같이, 너희도 그 가운데서 녹을 것이니, 나 여호와가 나의 진노를 너희 위에 쏟은 줄을 너희가 알게 될 것이다.
23 Yahweh’s word came to me, saying,And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,여호와의 말씀이 내게 임하여 이르셨다.
24 “ Son of man, tell her, ‘ You are a land that is not cleansed nor rained on in the day of indignation.’Son of man, say unto her, Thou art a land that is not cleansed, nor rained upon in the day of indignation.인자야, 그 땅에게 말하여라. 너는 진노의 날에 깨끗하게 되지 못하고 비도 내리지 않은 땅이다.
25 There is a conspiracy of her prophets within it, like a roaring lion ravening the prey. They have devoured souls. They take treasure and precious things. They have made many widows within it.There is a conspiracy of her prophets in the midst thereof, like a roaring lion ravening the prey: they have devoured souls; they take treasure and precious things; they have made her widows many in the midst thereof.그 가운데 그의 선지자들이 음모를 꾸미니, 마치 먹이를 움켜잡는 부르짖는 사자와 같다. 그들은 사람들의 영혼을 삼키고, 보물과 귀한 것들을 빼앗으며, 그 가운데 과부를 많아지게 하였다.
26 Her priests have done violence to my law and have profaned my holy things. They have made no distinction between the holy and the common, neither have they caused men to discern between the unclean and the clean, and have hidden their eyes from my Sabbaths. 27 Her princes within it are like wolves ravening the prey, to shed blood and to destroy souls, that they may get dishonest gain.Her princes in the midst thereof are like wolves ravening the prey, to shed blood, and to destroy souls, that they may get dishonest gain.그 가운데 통치자들은 먹이를 움켜잡는 이리들과 같아서, 피를 흘리고 영혼을 멸하며 부정한 이득을 얻으려 하였다.
28 Her prophets have plastered for them with whitewash, seeing false visions, and divining lies to them, saying, ‘ The Lord Yahweh says,’ when Yahweh has not spoken.And her prophets have daubed for them with untempered mortar, seeing false visions, and divining lies unto them, saying, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah, when Jehovah hath not spoken.그의 선지자들은 회칠로 그들을 위해 덧칠하였으니, 거짓 환상을 보고 그들에게 거짓을 점쳐 말하기를 “주 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하신다” 하였으나, 여호와는 말한 적이 없다.
29 The people of the land have used oppression and exercised robbery. Yes, they have troubled the poor and needy, and have oppressed the foreigner wrongfully.The people of the land have used oppression, and exercised robbery; yea, they have vexed the poor and needy, and have oppressed the sojourner wrongfully.그 땅의 백성은 압제를 행하고 강도질을 일삼았으며, 가난하고 궁핍한 자를 괴롭히고 나그네를 부당하게 억압하였다.
30 “ I sought for a man among them who would build up the wall and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I would not destroy it; but I found no one.And I sought for a man among them, that should build up the wall, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found none.내가 그들 가운데서 한 사람을 찾았으니, 곧 성벽을 쌓고 그 땅을 위하여 내 앞에서 무너진 곳에 서서, 내가 그 땅을 멸하지 않게 할 자였다. 그러나 나는 찾지 못하였다.
31 Therefore I have poured out my indignation on them. I have consumed them with the fire of my wrath. I have brought their own way on their heads,” says the Lord Yahweh.Therefore have I poured out mine indignation upon them; I have consumed them with the fire of my wrath: their own way have I brought upon their heads, saith the Lord Jehovah.그러므로 내가 나의 분노를 그들 위에 쏟아, 나의 진노의 불로 그들을 살라 버렸으니, 그들의 행위를 그들의 머리 위에 돌렸다. 주 여호와의 말씀이다.
