1 Yahweh’s word came again to me, saying,The word of Jehovah came again unto me, saying,여호와의 말씀이 다시 내게 임하여 이르셨다.
2 “ Son of man, tell the prince of Tyre, ‘ The Lord Yahweh says: “ Because your heart is lifted up, and you have said, ‘ I am a god, I sit in the seat of God, in the middle of the seas;’ yet you are man, and no god, though you set your heart as the heart of a god —Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyre, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because thy heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a god, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet thou art man, and not God, though thou didst set thy heart as the heart of God;—사람아, 너는 두로의 통치자에게 말하여라. 주 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. 네 마음이 교만하여 "나는 신이다. 나는 바다 한가운데서 하나님의 보좌에 앉아 있다" 하고 말하였구나. 그러나 너는 사람일 뿐 하나님이 아니다. 네가 네 마음을 하나님의 마음처럼 여겼어도 그렇다.
3 behold, you are wiser than Daniel. There is no secret that is hidden from you.behold, thou art wiser than Daniel; there is no secret that is hidden from thee;보아라, 네가 다니엘보다 지혜로워서 어떤 비밀도 네게 감추어진 것이 없다고 하는구나.
4 By your wisdom and by your understanding you have gotten yourself riches, and have gotten gold and silver into your treasuries.by thy wisdom and by thine understanding thou hast gotten thee riches, and hast gotten gold and silver into thy treasures;너는 네 지혜와 명철로 스스로 재물을 모으고, 네 곳간에 금과 은을 쌓아 두었다.
5 By your great wisdom and by your trading you have increased your riches, and your heart is lifted up because of your riches —”by thy great wisdom and by thy traffic hast thou increased thy riches, and thy heart is lifted up because of thy riches;—네 큰 지혜와 무역으로 네 재물을 늘렸으나, 그 재물 때문에 네 마음이 교만해졌다.
6 “‘ therefore the Lord Yahweh says: “ Because you have set your heart as the heart of God,therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because thou hast set thy heart as the heart of God,그러므로 주 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. 네가 네 마음을 하나님의 마음처럼 여겼으니,
7 therefore, behold, I will bring strangers on you, the terrible of the nations. They will draw their swords against the beauty of your wisdom. They will defile your brightness.therefore, behold, I will bring strangers upon thee, the terrible of the nations; and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of thy wisdom, and they shall defile thy brightness.보아라, 내가 이방 사람들, 곧 가장 사나운 민족들을 네게 끌어들이겠다. 그들이 칼을 빼어 네가 자랑하던 지혜의 아름다움을 치고, 네 빛나는 영광을 더럽힐 것이다.
8 They will bring you down to the pit. You will die the death of those who are slain in the heart of the seas.They shall bring thee down to the pit; and thou shalt die the death of them that are slain, in the heart of the seas.그들이 너를 구덩이로 끌어내리리니, 너는 바다 한가운데서 살해당한 자처럼 죽을 것이다.
9 Will you yet say before him who kills you, ‘ I am God’? But you are man, and not God, in the hand of him who wounds you.Wilt thou yet say before him that slayeth thee, I am God? but thou art man, and not God, in the hand of him that woundeth thee.너를 죽이는 자 앞에서도 네가 여전히 "나는 신이다" 하고 말하겠느냐? 너를 찌르는 자의 손에 잡히면, 너는 사람일 뿐 하나님이 아니다.
10 You will die the death of the uncircumcised by the hand of strangers; for I have spoken it,” says the Lord Yahweh.’”Thou shalt die the death of the uncircumcised by the hand of strangers: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord Jehovah.너는 이방 사람의 손에 할례받지 못한 자처럼 죽을 것이다. 내가 이것을 말하였다고 주 여호와께서 말씀하신다.
11 Moreover Yahweh’s word came to me, saying,Moreover the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,여호와의 말씀이 또 내게 임하여 이르셨다.
12 “ Son of man, take up a lamentation over the king of Tyre, and tell him, ‘ The Lord Yahweh says: “ You were the seal of full measure, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.Son of man, take up a lamentation over the king of Tyre, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.사람아, 너는 두로 왕을 두고 애가를 지어 그에게 말하여라. 주 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. 너는 완전함의 도장이요, 지혜가 충만하며 아름다움이 완벽하였다.
13 You were in Eden, the garden of God. Every precious stone adorned you: ruby, topaz, emerald, chrysolite, onyx, jasper, sapphire, turquoise, and beryl. Gold work of tambourines and of pipes was in you. They were prepared in the day that you were created.Thou wast in Eden, the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, the topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was in thee; in the day that thou wast created they were prepared.너는 하나님의 동산 에덴에 있었으며, 온갖 보석이 너를 덮고 있었으니, 곧 홍옥수와 황옥과 녹주석과 황록석과 마노와 벽옥과 청옥과 터키석과 녹주석이었다. 또 금으로 만든 소고와 피리의 세공이 네게 있었으니, 네가 창조되던 날에 그것들이 마련되었다.
14 You were the anointed cherub who covers. Then I set you up on the holy mountain of God. You have walked up and down in the middle of the stones of fire.Thou wast the anointed cherub that covereth: and I set thee, so that thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.너는 기름 부음을 받아 덮는 그룹이었다. 내가 너를 세워 하나님의 거룩한 산에 있게 하였고, 너는 불타는 돌들 사이를 거닐었다.
15 You were perfect in your ways from the day that you were created, until unrighteousness was found in you.Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till unrighteousness was found in thee.네가 창조되던 날부터 네 행위가 완전하였으나, 마침내 네게서 불의가 발견되었다.
16 By the abundance of your commerce, your insides were filled with violence, and you have sinned. Therefore I have cast you as profane out of God’s mountain. I have destroyed you, covering cherub, from the middle of the stones of fire.By the abundance of thy traffic they filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore have I cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God; and I have destroyed thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.네 무역이 많아짐으로 네 안에 포악이 가득 차서 네가 죄를 지었다. 그러므로 내가 너를 더러운 것으로 여겨 하나님의 산에서 쫓아냈으며, 덮는 그룹인 너를 불타는 돌들 사이에서 멸하였다.
17 Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty. You have corrupted your wisdom by reason of your splendor. I have cast you to the ground. I have laid you before kings, that they may see you.Thy heart was lifted up because of thy beauty; thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I have cast thee to the ground; I have laid thee before kings, that they may behold thee.네 아름다움 때문에 네 마음이 교만해졌고, 네 빛나는 영광 때문에 네 지혜를 더럽혔다. 그래서 내가 너를 땅에 던지고, 여러 왕들 앞에 두어 그들이 너를 구경하게 하였다.
18 By the multitude of your iniquities, in the unrighteousness of your commerce, you have profaned your sanctuaries. Therefore I have brought out a fire from the middle of you. It has devoured you. I have turned you to ashes on the earth in the sight of all those who see you.By the multitude of thine iniquities, in the unrighteousness of thy traffic, thou hast profaned thy sanctuaries; therefore have I brought forth a fire from the midst of thee; it hath devoured thee, and I have turned thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.네 죄악이 많고 네 무역이 불의하여 네 성소들을 더럽혔다. 그러므로 내가 네 안에서 불을 일으켜 너를 삼키게 하였고, 너를 보는 모든 자가 보는 앞에서 너를 땅 위의 재로 만들었다.
19 All those who know you among the peoples will be astonished at you. You have become a terror, and you will exist no more.”’”All they that know thee among the peoples shall be astonished at thee: thou art become a terror, and thou shalt nevermore have any being.뭇 백성 가운데서 너를 아는 모든 자가 너를 보고 깜짝 놀랄 것이다. 네가 두려운 본보기가 되었으니, 영원히 다시는 존재하지 못할 것이다.
20 Yahweh’s word came to me, saying,And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,여호와의 말씀이 내게 임하여 이르셨다.
21 “ Son of man, set your face toward Sidon, and prophesy against it,Son of man, set thy face toward Sidon, and prophesy against it,사람아, 너는 시돈을 향하여 얼굴을 두고 그곳을 쳐서 예언하여라.
22 and say, ‘ The Lord Yahweh says: “ Behold, I am against you, Sidon. I will be glorified among you. Then they will know that I am Yahweh, when I have executed judgments in her, and am sanctified in her.and say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I am against thee, O Sidon; and I will be glorified in the midst of thee; and they shall know that I am Jehovah, when I shall have executed judgments in her, and shall be sanctified in her.너는 말하여라. 주 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. 시돈아, 보아라, 내가 너를 대적한다. 내가 네 가운데서 영광을 받겠고, 내가 그 안에서 심판을 행하고 그 안에서 거룩히 여김을 받을 때에, 그들이 내가 여호와인 줄을 알 것이다.
23 For I will send pestilence into her, and blood into her streets. The wounded will fall within her, with the sword on her on every side. Then they will know that I am Yahweh.For I will send pestilence into her, and blood into her streets; and the wounded shall fall in the midst of her, with the sword upon her on every side; and they shall know that I am Jehovah.내가 그 안에 전염병을 보내고 그 거리에 피가 흐르게 하겠으며, 사방에서 칼이 그에게 임하여 부상당한 자들이 그 가운데 쓰러지리니, 그들이 내가 여호와인 줄을 알 것이다.
24 “‘“ There will no longer be a pricking brier to the house of Israel, nor a hurting thorn of any that are around them that scorned them. Then they will know that I am the Lord Yahweh.”And there shall be no more a pricking brier unto the house of Israel, nor a hurting thorn of any that are round about them, that did despite unto them; and they shall know that I am the Lord Jehovah.이스라엘 집을 멸시하던 그 주변의 모든 자들 가운데, 다시는 이스라엘 집을 찌르는 가시나 아프게 하는 찔레가 없을 것이다. 그러면 그들이 내가 주 여호와인 줄을 알 것이다.
25 “‘ The Lord Yahweh says: “ When I have gathered the house of Israel from the peoples among whom they are scattered, and am shown as holy among them in the sight of the nations, then they will dwell in their own land which I gave to my servant Jacob.Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: When I shall have gathered the house of Israel from the peoples among whom they are scattered, and shall be sanctified in them in the sight of the nations, then shall they dwell in their own land which I gave to my servant Jacob.주 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. 내가 이스라엘 집을 그들이 흩어져 있던 뭇 백성 가운데서 모으고, 뭇 민족이 보는 앞에서 그들로 인해 거룩히 여김을 받을 때에, 그들이 내가 내 종 야곱에게 준 자기들의 땅에서 살게 될 것이다.
26 They will dwell in it securely. Yes, they will build houses, plant vineyards, and will dwell securely when I have executed judgments on all those around them who have treated them with contempt. Then they will know that I am Yahweh their God.”’”And they shall dwell securely therein; yea, they shall build houses, and plant vineyards, and shall dwell securely, when I have executed judgments upon all those that do them despite round about them; and they shall know that I am Jehovah their God.그들이 그곳에서 평안히 살며, 집을 짓고 포도원을 가꾸며 평안히 거주할 것이다. 그들을 멸시하던 사방의 모든 자들에게 내가 심판을 행할 때에, 그들이 내가 여호와 곧 자기들의 하나님인 줄을 알 것이다.
