1 In the tenth year, in the tenth month, on the twelfth day of the month, Yahweh’s word came to me, saying,In the tenth year, in the tenth month, in the twelfth day of the month, the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,열째 해 열째 달 열이튿날에 여호와의 말씀이 내게 임하여 이르셨다.
2 “ Son of man, set your face against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and prophesy against him and against all Egypt.Son of man, set thy face against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and prophesy against him, and against all Egypt;"사람아, 너는 이집트 왕 바로를 향해 얼굴을 돌리고 그와 온 이집트를 향해 예언하여라.
3 Speak and say, ‘ The Lord Yahweh says: “ Behold, I am against you, Pharaoh king of Egypt, the great monster that lies in the middle of his rivers, that has said, ‘ My river is my own, and I have made it for myself.’speak, and say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I am against thee, Pharaoh king of Egypt, the great monster that lieth in the midst of his rivers, that hath said, My river is mine own, and I have made it for myself.너는 이렇게 전하여라. '주 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. 이집트 왕 바로야, 보아라, 내가 너를 대적한다. 너는 자기 강들 한가운데 누워 있는 큰 괴물이다. 너는 "이 강은 내 것이다. 내가 나를 위해 그것을 만들었다" 하고 말하였다.
4 I will put hooks in your jaws, and I will make the fish of your rivers stick to your scales. I will bring you up out of the middle of your rivers, with all the fish of your rivers which stick to your scales.And I will put hooks in thy jaws, and I will cause the fish of thy rivers to stick unto thy scales; and I will bring thee up out of the midst of thy rivers, with all the fish of thy rivers which stick unto thy scales.그러나 내가 네 턱에 갈고리를 꿰고, 네 강의 물고기들을 네 비늘에 들러붙게 하겠다. 그리고 네 비늘에 들러붙은 네 강의 모든 물고기와 함께 너를 네 강 한가운데서 끌어 올리겠다.
5 I’ll cast you out into the wilderness, you and all the fish of your rivers. You’ll fall on the open field. You won’t be brought together or gathered. I have given you for food to the animals of the earth and to the birds of the sky.And I will cast thee forth into the wilderness, thee and all the fish of thy rivers: thou shalt fall upon the open field; thou shalt not be brought together, nor gathered; I have given thee for food to the beasts of the earth and to the birds of the heavens.내가 너와 네 강의 모든 물고기를 광야에 던져 버리겠다. 너는 빈 들판에 쓰러질 것이며, 아무도 너를 모으거나 거두지 않을 것이다. 내가 너를 땅의 짐승과 하늘의 새들에게 먹이로 주었다.
6 “‘“ All the inhabitants of Egypt will know that I am Yahweh, because they have been a staff of reed to the house of Israel.And all the inhabitants of Egypt shall know that I am Jehovah, because they have been a staff of reed to the house of Israel.그러면 이집트의 모든 주민이 내가 여호와인 줄 알게 될 것이다. 이는 그들이 이스라엘 집에게 갈대 지팡이가 되었기 때문이다.
7 When they took hold of you by your hand, you broke and tore all their shoulders. When they leaned on you, you broke and paralyzed all of their thighs.”When they took hold of thee by thy hand, thou didst break, and didst rend all their shoulders; and when they leaned upon thee, thou brakest, and madest all their loins to be at a stand.그들이 손으로 너를 붙잡으면 너는 부러져서 그들의 어깨를 모두 찢었고, 그들이 너를 의지하면 너는 부러져서 그들의 허리를 다 못 쓰게 만들었다.'
8 “‘ Therefore the Lord Yahweh says: “ Behold, I will bring a sword on you, and will cut off man and animal from you.Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I will bring a sword upon thee, and will cut off from thee man and beast.그러므로 주 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. '보아라, 내가 네게 칼을 가져와 사람과 짐승을 네게서 끊어 버리겠다.
9 The land of Egypt will be a desolation and a waste. Then they will know that I am Yahweh. “‘“ Because he has said, ‘ The river is mine, and I have made it,’And the land of Egypt shall be a desolation and a waste; and they shall know that I am Jehovah. Because he hath said, The river is mine, and I have made it;이집트 땅은 황폐한 폐허가 될 것이며, 그제야 그들이 내가 여호와인 줄 알게 될 것이다. 이는 그가 "이 강은 내 것이다. 내가 그것을 만들었다" 하고 말했기 때문이다.
10 therefore, behold, I am against you and against your rivers. I will make the land of Egypt an utter waste and desolation, from the tower of Seveneh even to the border of Ethiopia.therefore, behold, I am against thee, and against thy rivers, and I will make the land of Egypt an utter waste and desolation, from the tower of Seveneh even unto the border of Ethiopia.그러므로 보아라, 내가 너와 네 강들을 대적하여 이집트 땅을 세웨네 망대에서부터 에티오피아 국경에 이르기까지 완전히 황폐한 폐허로 만들겠다.
11 No foot of man will pass through it, nor will any animal foot pass through it. It won’t be inhabited for forty years.No foot of man shall pass through it, nor foot of beast shall pass through it, neither shall it be inhabited forty years.그곳에는 사람의 발도 지나가지 못하고 짐승의 발도 지나가지 못할 것이며, 사십 년 동안 거주하는 자가 없을 것이다.
12 I will make the land of Egypt a desolation in the middle of the countries that are desolate. Her cities among the cities that are laid waste will be a desolation forty years. I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and will disperse them through the countries.”And I will make the land of Egypt a desolation in the midst of the countries that are desolate; and her cities among the cities that are laid waste shall be a desolation forty years; and I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and will disperse them through the countries.내가 이집트 땅을 황폐한 나라들 가운데서 황폐하게 만들겠고, 그 성읍들도 폐허가 된 성읍들 가운데서 사십 년 동안 황폐할 것이다. 또 내가 이집트 사람들을 여러 민족 가운데로 흩고 여러 나라에 헤치겠다.'
13 “‘ For the Lord Yahweh says: “ At the end of forty years I will gather the Egyptians from the peoples where they were scattered.For thus saith the Lord Jehovah: At the end of forty years will I gather the Egyptians from the peoples whither they were scattered;주 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. '사십 년이 끝나면 내가 이집트 사람들을 그들이 흩어졌던 백성들 가운데서 모으겠다.
14 I will reverse the captivity of Egypt, and will cause them to return into the land of Pathros, into the land of their birth. There they will be a lowly kingdom.and I will bring back the captivity of Egypt, and will cause them to return into the land of Pathros, into the land of their birth; and they shall be there a base kingdom.내가 이집트의 포로 된 자들을 돌아오게 하여 그들의 고향 땅인 바드로스 땅으로 돌아가게 하겠다. 거기서 그들은 보잘것없는 나라가 될 것이다.
15 It will be the lowest of the kingdoms. It won’t lift itself up above the nations any more. I will diminish them so that they will no longer rule over the nations.It shall be the basest of the kingdoms; neither shall it any more lift itself up above the nations: and I will diminish them, that they shall no more rule over the nations.그 나라는 모든 나라 가운데 가장 보잘것없는 나라가 될 것이며, 다시는 다른 민족들 위로 자신을 높이지 못할 것이다. 내가 그들을 줄어들게 하여 다시는 민족들을 다스리지 못하게 하겠다.
16 It will no longer be the confidence of the house of Israel, bringing iniquity to memory, when they turn to look after them. Then they will know that I am the Lord Yahweh.”’”And it shall be no more the confidence of the house of Israel, bringing iniquity to remembrance, when they turn to look after them: and they shall know that I am the Lord Jehovah.그것은 다시는 이스라엘 집의 의지가 되지 못할 것이며, 오히려 이스라엘이 그들을 바라보며 의지하려 할 때마다 자기 죄를 기억나게 할 것이다. 그제야 그들이 내가 주 여호와인 줄 알게 될 것이다.'"
17 It came to pass in the twenty-seventh year, in the first month, in the first day of the month, Yahweh’s word came to me, saying,And it came to pass in the seven and twentieth year, in the first month, in the first day of the month, the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,스물일곱째 해 첫째 달 초하룻날에 여호와의 말씀이 내게 임하여 이르셨다.
18 “ Son of man, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon caused his army to serve a great service against Tyre. Every head was made bald, and every shoulder was worn; yet he had no wages, nor did his army, from Tyre, for the service that he had served against it.Son of man, Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon caused his army to serve a great service against Tyre: every head was made bald, and every shoulder was worn; yet had he no wages, nor his army, from Tyre, for the service that he had served against it."사람아, 바벨론 왕 느부갓네살이 그의 군대를 두로를 치는 큰 싸움에 동원하여, 모든 머리가 벗겨지고 모든 어깨가 닳았다. 그러나 그가 두로를 친 그 수고에 대해 그와 그의 군대는 두로에게서 아무런 삯도 받지 못하였다.
19 Therefore the Lord Yahweh says: ‘ Behold, I will give the land of Egypt to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon. He will carry off her multitude, take her plunder, and take her prey. That will be the wages for his army.Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I will give the land of Egypt unto Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon; and he shall carry off her multitude, and take her spoil, and take her prey; and it shall be the wages for his army.그러므로 주 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. 보아라, 내가 이집트 땅을 바벨론 왕 느부갓네살에게 주겠다. 그가 이집트의 무리를 끌고 가며 그 재물을 빼앗고 노략질할 것이니, 그것이 그의 군대의 삯이 될 것이다.
20 I have given him the land of Egypt as his payment for which he served, because they worked for me,’ says the Lord Yahweh.I have given him the land of Egypt as his recompense for which he served, because they wrought for me, saith the Lord Jehovah.그가 나를 위해 일하였으므로, 내가 그의 수고에 대한 보상으로 이집트 땅을 그에게 주었다. 주 여호와의 말씀이다.
21 “ In that day I will cause a horn to sprout for the house of Israel, and I will open your mouth among them. Then they will know that I am Yahweh.”In that day will I cause a horn to bud forth unto the house of Israel, and I will give thee the opening of the mouth in the midst of them; and they shall know that I am Jehovah.그날에 내가 이스라엘 집에 한 뿔이 돋아나게 하겠고, 그들 가운데서 네 입을 열게 하겠다. 그제야 그들이 내가 여호와인 줄 알게 될 것이다."
