1 Yahweh, you are my God. I will exalt you! I will praise your name, for you have done wonderful things, things planned long ago, in complete faithfulness and truth.O Jehovah, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things, even counsels of old, in faithfulness and truth.여호와여, 주는 나의 하나님이십니다. 내가 주를 높이고 주의 이름을 찬양하겠습니다. 주께서 놀라운 일을 행하셨으니, 오래전에 계획하신 일들을 온전한 신실하심과 진실하심으로 이루셨습니다.
2 For you have made a city into a heap, a fortified city into a ruin, a palace of strangers to be no city. It will never be built.For thou hast made of a city a heap, of a fortified city a ruin, a palace of strangers to be no city; it shall never be built.주께서 성읍을 무더기로 만드시고, 견고한 성을 폐허로 만드셨으며, 이방 사람들의 궁궐을 더 이상 성읍이 아니게 하셨으니, 그것은 다시는 세워지지 못할 것입니다.
3 Therefore a strong people will glorify you. A city of awesome nations will fear you.Therefore shall a strong people glorify thee; a city of terrible nations shall fear thee.그러므로 강한 백성이 주를 영화롭게 하고, 두려운 나라들의 성읍이 주를 경외할 것입니다.
4 For you have been a stronghold to the poor, a stronghold to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shade from the heat, when the blast of the dreaded ones is like a storm against the wall.For thou hast been a stronghold to the poor, a stronghold to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shade from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall.주께서는 가난한 자에게 견고한 요새가 되시고, 곤경에 처한 궁핍한 자에게 피난처가 되셨으며, 폭풍을 피하는 도피처가 되시고, 더위를 가리는 그늘이 되셨습니다. 두려운 자들의 위세가 성벽을 치는 폭풍과 같을 때에도 그러하셨습니다.
5 As the heat in a dry place you will bring down the noise of strangers; as the heat by the shade of a cloud, the song of the dreaded ones will be brought low.As the heat in a dry place wilt thou bring down the noise of strangers; as the heat by the shade of a cloud, the song of the terrible ones shall be brought low.메마른 땅의 더위처럼 주께서 이방 사람들의 소란을 잠잠하게 하시고, 구름 그늘이 더위를 식히듯이 두려운 자들의 노래를 낮추실 것입니다.
6 In this mountain, Yahweh of Armies will make all peoples a feast of choice meat, a feast of choice wines, of choice meat full of marrow, of well refined choice wines.And in this mountain will Jehovah of hosts make unto all peoples a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined.이 산에서 만군의 여호와께서 모든 민족을 위하여 기름진 것으로 잔치를 베푸시고, 잘 빚은 좋은 포도주와 골수가 가득한 기름진 음식과 잘 정제된 좋은 포도주로 잔치를 베푸실 것입니다.
7 He will destroy in this mountain the surface of the covering that covers all peoples, and the veil that is spread over all nations.And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering that covereth all peoples, and the veil that is spread over all nations.또 주께서 이 산에서 모든 민족을 덮고 있는 덮개의 표면과 모든 나라 위에 펼쳐진 휘장을 없애 버리실 것입니다.
8 He has swallowed up death forever! The Lord Yahweh will wipe away tears from off all faces. He will take the reproach of his people away from off all the earth, for Yahweh has spoken it.He hath swallowed up death for ever; and the Lord Jehovah will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the reproach of his people will he take away from off all the earth: for Jehovah hath spoken it.주께서 사망을 영원히 삼키셨습니다! 주 여호와께서 모든 얼굴에서 눈물을 닦아 주시고, 자기 백성이 받은 수치를 온 땅에서 제거하실 것입니다. 이는 여호와께서 친히 말씀하신 것입니다.
9 It shall be said in that day, “ Behold, this is our God! We have waited for him, and he will save us! This is Yahweh! We have waited for him. We will be glad and rejoice in his salvation!”And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is Jehovah; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.그 날에 사람들이 이렇게 말할 것입니다. "보라, 이분은 우리의 하나님이시다! 우리가 그분을 기다렸으니 그분이 우리를 구원하실 것이다. 이분은 여호와시다! 우리가 그분을 기다렸으니 우리가 그분의 구원으로 기뻐하고 즐거워할 것이다!"
10 For Yahweh’s hand will rest in this mountain. Moab will be trodden down in his place, even like straw is trodden down in the water of the dunghill.For in this mountain will the hand of Jehovah rest; and Moab shall be trodden down in his place, even as straw is trodden down in the water of the dunghill.이 산에 여호와의 손이 머무를 것입니다. 그러나 모압은 거름 구덩이의 물 속에서 짚이 짓밟히듯이 그 자리에서 짓밟힐 것입니다.
11 He will spread out his hands in the middle of it, like one who swims spreads out hands to swim, but his pride will be humbled together with the craft of his hands.And he shall spread forth his hands in the midst thereof, as he that swimmeth spreadeth forth his hands to swim; but Jehovah will lay low his pride together with the craft of his hands.모압이 헤엄치는 자가 헤엄치려고 두 손을 펴듯이 그 가운데서 손을 펴겠으나, 그의 교만은 그 손의 술책과 함께 낮아질 것입니다.
12 He has brought the high fortress of your walls down, laid low, and brought to the ground, even to the dust.And the high fortress of thy walls hath he brought down, laid low, and brought to the ground, even to the dust.주께서 네 성벽의 높은 요새를 헐어 낮추시고 땅에 엎드러뜨려 티끌에까지 이르게 하실 것입니다.
