1 This is what Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.이것은 아모스의 아들 이사야가 유다와 예루살렘에 관하여 본 것입니다.
2 It shall happen in the latter days, that the mountain of Yahweh’s house shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be raised above the hills; and all nations shall flow to it.And it shall come to pass in the latter days, that the mountain of Jehovah’s house shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.마지막 날에 이런 일이 일어날 것입니다. 여호와의 집이 있는 산이 모든 산들 꼭대기에 굳게 서고 언덕들 위로 높이 솟아오를 것이며, 모든 민족이 그곳으로 흘러들 것입니다.
3 Many peoples shall go and say, “ Come, let’s go up to the mountain of Yahweh, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths.” For the law shall go out of Zion, and Yahweh’s word from Jerusalem.And many peoples shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of Jehovah, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of Jehovah from Jerusalem.수많은 백성이 가면서 이렇게 말할 것입니다. "자, 여호와의 산으로, 야곱의 하나님의 집으로 올라가자. 그분이 우리에게 그분의 길을 가르쳐 주시리니 우리가 그분의 길로 걸으리라." 이는 율법이 시온에서 나오고 여호와의 말씀이 예루살렘에서 나올 것이기 때문입니다.
4 He will judge between the nations, and will decide concerning many peoples. They shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.And he will judge between the nations, and will decide concerning many peoples; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning-hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.그분이 민족들 사이에서 심판하시고 수많은 백성에 관하여 판결하실 것입니다. 그러면 그들은 자기 칼을 쳐서 보습을 만들고 자기 창을 쳐서 낫을 만들 것입니다. 민족이 다른 민족을 향하여 칼을 들지 않고 다시는 전쟁을 배우지 않을 것입니다.
5 House of Jacob, come, and let’s walk in the light of Yahweh.O house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of Jehovah.야곱의 집이여, 자, 우리가 여호와의 빛 가운데 걸어갑시다.
6 For you have forsaken your people, the house of Jacob, because they are filled from the east, with those who practice divination like the Philistines, and they clasp hands with the children of foreigners.For thou hast forsaken thy people the house of Jacob, because they are filled with customs from the east, and are soothsayers like the Philistines, and they strike hands with the children of foreigners.주께서 주의 백성, 곧 야곱의 집을 버리셨으니, 이는 그들이 동방에서 온 풍습으로 가득 차 블레셋 사람들처럼 점을 치고 이방 사람들의 자손과 손을 맞잡았기 때문입니다.
7 Their land is full of silver and gold, neither is there any end of their treasures. Their land also is full of horses, neither is there any end of their chariots.And their land is full of silver and gold, neither is there any end of their treasures; their land also is full of horses, neither is there any end of their chariots.그들의 땅은 은과 금으로 가득 차 그 보물에 끝이 없으며, 그들의 땅은 또한 말로 가득 차 그 병거에도 끝이 없습니다.
8 Their land also is full of idols. They worship the work of their own hands, that which their own fingers have made.Their land also is full of idols; they worship the work of their own hands, that which their own fingers have made.그들의 땅은 또한 우상으로 가득 찼습니다. 그들은 자기 손으로 만든 것, 곧 자기 손가락이 지은 것을 경배합니다.
9 Man is brought low, and mankind is humbled; therefore don’t forgive them.And the mean man is bowed down, and the great man is brought low: therefore forgive them not.사람이 낮아지고 인생이 비천하게 되니, 그러므로 그들을 용서하지 마십시오.
10 Enter into the rock, and hide in the dust, from before the terror of Yahweh, and from the glory of his majesty.Enter into the rock, and hide thee in the dust, from before the terror of Jehovah, and from the glory of his majesty.여호와의 두려움 앞에서, 그 위엄의 영광 앞에서 바위 속으로 들어가고 흙 속에 숨으십시오.
11 The lofty looks of man will be brought low, the arrogance of men will be bowed down, and Yahweh alone will be exalted in that day.The lofty looks of man shall be brought low, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and Jehovah alone shall be exalted in that day.사람의 거만한 눈은 낮아지고 사람들의 교만은 꺾일 것이며, 그날에는 오직 여호와만이 높임을 받으실 것입니다.
12 For there will be a day of Yahweh of Armies for all that is proud and arrogant, and for all that is lifted up, and it shall be brought low —For there shall be a day of Jehovah of hosts upon all that is proud and haughty, and upon all that is lifted up; and it shall be brought low;만군의 여호와의 날이 있어 모든 교만하고 거만한 것과 모든 높이 들린 것에 임할 것이니, 그것이 낮아질 것입니다.
13 for all the cedars of Lebanon, that are high and lifted up, for all the oaks of Bashan,and upon all the cedars of Lebanon, that are high and lifted up, and upon all the oaks of Bashan,높고 우뚝 솟은 레바논의 모든 백향목과 바산의 모든 상수리나무에,
14 for all the high mountains, for all the hills that are lifted up,and upon all the high mountains, and upon all the hills that are lifted up,모든 높은 산과 높이 솟은 모든 언덕에,
15 for every lofty tower, for every fortified wall,and upon every lofty tower, and upon every fortified wall,모든 우뚝 선 망대와 모든 견고한 성벽에,
16 for all the ships of Tarshish, and for all pleasant imagery.and upon all the ships of Tarshish, and upon all pleasant imagery.다시스의 모든 배와 모든 아름다운 그림에 임할 것입니다.
17 The loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the arrogance of men shall be brought low; and Yahweh alone shall be exalted in that day.And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be brought low; and Jehovah alone shall be exalted in that day.사람의 거만함이 꺾이고 사람들의 교만이 낮아질 것이며, 그날에는 오직 여호와만이 높임을 받으실 것입니다.
18 The idols shall utterly pass away.And the idols shall utterly pass away.우상들은 완전히 사라질 것입니다.
19 Men shall go into the caves of the rocks, and into the holes of the earth, from before the terror of Yahweh, and from the glory of his majesty, when he arises to shake the earth mightily.And men shall go into the caves of the rocks, and into the holes of the earth, from before the terror of Jehovah, and from the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake mightily the earth.여호와께서 일어나 땅을 세차게 흔드실 때, 그 두려움 앞에서, 그 위엄의 영광 앞에서 사람들이 바위 동굴 속으로, 땅의 구멍 속으로 들어갈 것입니다.
20 In that day, men shall cast away their idols of silver and their idols of gold, which have been made for themselves to worship, to the moles and to the bats,In that day men shall cast away their idols of silver, and their idols of gold, which have been made for them to worship, to the moles and to the bats;그날에 사람들은 자기들이 경배하려고 만든 은 우상과 금 우상을 두더지와 박쥐에게 던져 버릴 것입니다.
21 to go into the caverns of the rocks, and into the clefts of the ragged rocks, from before the terror of Yahweh, and from the glory of his majesty, when he arises to shake the earth mightily.to go into the caverns of the rocks, and into the clefts of the ragged rocks, from before the terror of Jehovah, and from the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake mightily the earth.여호와께서 일어나 땅을 세차게 흔드실 때, 그 두려움 앞에서, 그 위엄의 영광 앞에서 그들은 바위 굴속으로, 험한 바위 틈새로 들어갈 것입니다.
22 Stop trusting in man, whose breath is in his nostrils; for of what account is he?Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils; for wherein is he to be accounted of?사람을 의지하기를 그치십시오. 그의 호흡은 콧구멍에 있을 뿐이니, 그가 무슨 가치가 있겠습니까?
