1 Awake, awake! Put on your strength, Zion. Put on your beautiful garments, Jerusalem, the holy city, for from now on the uncircumcised and the unclean will no more come into you.Awake, awake, put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean.깨어라, 깨어라, 시온아, 네 힘을 입어라. 거룩한 성 예루살렘아, 네 아름다운 옷을 입어라. 이제부터는 할례받지 않은 자와 부정한 자가 다시는 네게로 들어오지 못할 것이다.
2 Shake yourself from the dust! Arise, sit up, Jerusalem! Release yourself from the bonds of your neck, captive daughter of Zion!Shake thyself from the dust; arise, sit on thy throne, O Jerusalem: loose thyself from the bonds of thy neck, O captive daughter of Zion.너의 몸에서 티끌을 떨어내어라. 일어나서 앉아라, 예루살렘아. 사로잡힌 딸 시온아, 네 목의 결박을 풀어 버려라.
3 For Yahweh says, “ You were sold for nothing; and you will be redeemed without money.”For thus saith Jehovah, Ye were sold for nought; and ye shall be redeemed without money.여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. "너희가 값없이 팔렸으니, 돈 없이 구속될 것이다."
4 For the Lord Yahweh says: “ My people went down at the first into Egypt to live there; and the Assyrian has oppressed them without cause.For thus saith the Lord Jehovah, My people went down at the first into Egypt to sojourn there: and the Assyrian hath oppressed them without cause.주 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. "내 백성이 처음에는 이집트로 내려가 거기 머물러 살았고, 또 앗수르가 까닭 없이 그들을 학대하였다.
5 “ Now therefore, what do I do here,” says Yahweh, “ seeing that my people are taken away for nothing? Those who rule over them mock,” says Yahweh, “ and my name is blasphemed continually all day long.Now therefore, what do I here, saith Jehovah, seeing that my people is taken away for nought? they that rule over them do howl, saith Jehovah, and my name continually all the day is blasphemed.그러므로 이제 내가 여기서 무엇을 하겠느냐," 여호와께서 말씀하신다. "내 백성이 값없이 끌려갔고, 그들을 다스리는 자들이 조롱하며," 여호와께서 말씀하신다. "내 이름이 온종일 끊임없이 모독을 당하는구나.
6 Therefore my people shall know my name. Therefore they shall know in that day that I am he who speaks. Behold, it is I.”Therefore my people shall know my name: therefore they shall know in that day that I am he that doth speak; behold, it is I.그러므로 내 백성이 내 이름을 알게 될 것이다. 그날에 그들은 말하는 이가 바로 나임을 알게 될 것이다. 보아라, 바로 나다."
7 How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who publishes peace, who brings good news, who proclaims salvation, who says to Zion, “ Your God reigns!”How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace, that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation, that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!좋은 소식을 전하며 평화를 알리고, 복된 좋은 소식을 전하며 구원을 알리고, 시온을 향하여 "네 하나님께서 다스리신다!" 하고 말하는 자의 발이 산 위에서 얼마나 아름다운가.
8 Your watchmen lift up their voice. Together they sing; for they shall see eye to eye when Yahweh returns to Zion.The voice of thy watchmen! they lift up the voice, together do they sing; for they shall see eye to eye, when Jehovah returneth to Zion.너의 파수꾼들의 목소리로구나! 그들이 소리를 높여 함께 노래하니, 여호와께서 시온으로 돌아오실 때에 그들이 직접 눈으로 마주 볼 것이다.
9 Break out into joy! Sing together, you waste places of Jerusalem; for Yahweh has comforted his people. He has redeemed Jerusalem.Break forth into joy, sing together, ye waste places of Jerusalem; for Jehovah hath comforted his people, he hath redeemed Jerusalem.예루살렘의 황폐한 곳들아, 기쁨으로 터져 나와 함께 노래하여라. 여호와께서 자기 백성을 위로하셨고, 예루살렘을 구속하셨다.
10 Yahweh has made his holy arm bare in the eyes of all the nations. All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.Jehovah hath made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.여호와께서 모든 민족이 보는 앞에서 그 거룩한 팔을 드러내셨으니, 땅끝까지 모두 우리 하나님의 구원을 보았다.
11 Depart! Depart! Go out from there! Touch no unclean thing! Go out from among her! Cleanse yourselves, you who carry Yahweh’s vessels.Depart ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence, touch no unclean thing; go ye out of the midst of her; cleanse yourselves, ye that bear the vessels of Jehovah.떠나라, 떠나라, 거기서 나가라, 부정한 것을 만지지 말아라! 그 가운데서 나오너라! 여호와의 기물을 메는 자들아, 너희 자신을 깨끗하게 하여라.
12 For you shall not go out in haste, neither shall you go by flight; for Yahweh will go before you, and the God of Israel will be your rear guard.For ye shall not go out in haste, neither shall ye go by flight: for Jehovah will go before you; and the God of Israel will be your rearward.너희는 급하게 나가지 않을 것이며, 도망치듯 가지도 않을 것이다. 여호와께서 너희 앞에서 행하시고, 이스라엘의 하나님께서 너희의 후위가 되실 것이기 때문이다.
13 Behold, my servant will deal wisely. He will be exalted and lifted up, and will be very high.Behold, my servant shall deal wisely, he shall be exalted and lifted up, and shall be very high.보아라, 내 종이 지혜롭게 행하여 받들어 높여지고 들려져서 지극히 존귀하게 될 것이다.
14 Just as many were astonished at you — his appearance was marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men —Like as many were astonished at thee ( his visage was so marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men ),많은 사람이 그를 보고 놀랐던 것처럼 — 그의 얼굴은 다른 어떤 사람보다 상하였고, 그 모습은 사람의 아들들보다 더 상하였다 —
15 so he will cleanse many nations. Kings will shut their mouths at him; for they will see that which had not been told them, and they will understand that which they had not heard.so shall he sprinkle many nations; kings shall shut their mouths at him: for that which had not been told them shall they see; and that which they had not heard shall they understand.그가 그렇게 많은 민족을 깨끗하게 할 것이다. 왕들이 그 앞에서 입을 다물 것이니, 그들에게 전해지지 않았던 일을 그들이 보게 되고, 듣지 못하였던 일을 그들이 깨닫게 될 것이기 때문이다.
