1 “ Cry aloud! Don’t spare! Lift up your voice like a trumpet! Declare to my people their disobedience, and to the house of Jacob their sins.Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and declare unto my people their transgression, and to the house of Jacob their sins.큰 소리로 외쳐라. 아끼지 말고 나팔처럼 네 목소리를 높여, 내 백성에게 그들의 거역을, 야곱 집안에 그들의 죄를 선포하여라.
2 Yet they seek me daily, and delight to know my ways. As a nation that did righteousness, and didn’t forsake the ordinance of their God, they ask of me righteous judgments. They delight to draw near to God.Yet they seek me daily, and delight to know my ways: as a nation that did righteousness, and forsook not the ordinance of their God, they ask of me righteous judgments; they delight to draw near unto God.그런데도 그들은 날마다 나를 찾으며 내 길을 알기를 즐거워한다. 마치 의를 행하고 자기 하나님의 규례를 저버리지 않은 나라처럼, 그들은 내게 의로운 판결을 구하며 하나님께 가까이 나아오기를 즐거워한다.
3 ‘ Why have we fasted,’ they say, ‘ and you don’t see? Why have we afflicted our soul, and you don’t notice?’ “ Behold, in the day of your fast you find pleasure, and oppress all your laborers.Wherefore have we fasted, say they, and thou seest not? wherefore have we afflicted our soul, and thou takest no knowledge? Behold, in the day of your fast ye find your own pleasure, and exact all your labors.그들은 말한다. "우리가 금식해도 어찌하여 주께서는 보지 않으시며, 우리가 우리 영혼을 괴롭혀도 어찌하여 알아주지 않으십니까?" 보아라, 너희가 금식하는 날에 너희는 자기 즐거움을 찾고 너희 일꾼들을 다그쳐 부린다.
4 Behold, you fast for strife and contention, and to strike with the fist of wickedness. You don’t fast today so as to make your voice to be heard on high.Behold, ye fast for strife and contention, and to smite with the fist of wickedness: ye fast not this day so as to make your voice to be heard on high.보아라, 너희가 다투고 싸우려고 금식하며 악한 주먹으로 치려고 금식한다. 너희가 오늘 같은 식으로 금식해서는 너희 목소리가 높은 곳에 들리게 할 수 없다.
5 Is this the fast that I have chosen? A day for a man to humble his soul? Is it to bow down his head like a reed, and to spread sackcloth and ashes under himself? Will you call this a fast, and an acceptable day to Yahweh?Is such the fast that I have chosen? the day for a man to afflict his soul? Is it to bow down his head as a rush, and to spread sackcloth and ashes under him? wilt thou call this a fast, and an acceptable day to Jehovah?이런 것이 내가 택한 금식이겠느냐? 사람이 자기 영혼을 괴롭히는 날이겠느냐? 갈대처럼 머리를 숙이고 굵은 베와 재를 깔고 눕는 것이냐? 너는 이것을 금식이라, 여호와께서 받으실 만한 날이라 부르겠느냐?
6 “Isn’t this the fast that I have chosen: to release the bonds of wickedness, to undo the straps of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and that you break every yoke?Is not this the fast that I have chosen: to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the bands of the yoke, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?내가 택한 금식은 이런 것이 아니겠느냐? 곧 악의 결박을 풀어 주고 멍에의 줄을 끌러 주며 억눌린 사람을 자유롭게 놓아 주고 모든 멍에를 꺾어 버리는 것이다.
7 Isn’t it to distribute your bread to the hungry, and that you bring the poor who are cast out to your house? When you see the naked, that you cover him; and that you not hide yourself from your own flesh?Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh?또 네 양식을 굶주린 사람에게 나누어 주고 쫓겨난 가난한 사람을 네 집에 데려오며, 헐벗은 사람을 보면 입혀 주고 네 골육을 외면하지 않는 것이 아니겠느냐?
8 Then your light will break out as the morning, and your healing will appear quickly; then your righteousness shall go before you, and Yahweh’s glory will be your rear guard.Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thy healing shall spring forth speedily; and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of Jehovah shall be thy rearward.그리하면 네 빛이 새벽처럼 솟아오르고 네 치유가 속히 일어날 것이며, 네 의가 네 앞에서 나아가고 여호와의 영광이 네 뒤를 지켜 줄 것이다.
9 Then you will call, and Yahweh will answer. You will cry for help, and he will say, ‘ Here I am.’ “ If you take away from among you the yoke, finger pointing, and speaking wickedly;Then shalt thou call, and Jehovah will answer; thou shalt cry, and he will say, Here I am. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking wickedly;그때에 네가 부르면 여호와께서 응답하시고, 네가 부르짖으면 "내가 여기 있다" 하고 말씀하실 것이다. 만일 네가 네 가운데서 멍에와 손가락질과 악한 말을 없애 버리고,
10 and if you pour out your soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul, then your light will rise in darkness, and your obscurity will be as the noonday;and if thou draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul: then shall thy light rise in darkness, and thine obscurity be as the noonday;굶주린 사람에게 네 마음을 쏟으며 괴로워하는 영혼을 만족하게 하면, 네 빛이 어둠 속에서 떠올라 네 어둠이 한낮처럼 밝아질 것이다.
11 and Yahweh will guide you continually, satisfy your soul in dry places, and make your bones strong. You will be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water whose waters don’t fail.and Jehovah will guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in dry places, and make strong thy bones; and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.여호와께서 너를 항상 인도하시고 메마른 곳에서도 네 영혼을 만족하게 하시며 네 뼈를 튼튼하게 하실 것이다. 그러면 너는 물 댄 동산 같고 물이 마르지 않는 샘 같을 것이다.
12 Those who will be of you will build the old waste places. You will raise up the foundations of many generations. You will be called Repairer of the Breach, Restorer of Paths with Dwellings.And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places; thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.네게서 난 사람들이 오래 황폐한 곳을 다시 세우고, 여러 세대의 기초를 일으켜 세울 것이다. 너는 무너진 곳을 보수하는 자, 사람이 살 수 있도록 길을 회복하는 자라 불릴 것이다.
13 “If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath, from doing your pleasure on my holy day, and call the Sabbath a delight, and the holy of Yahweh honorable, and honor it, not doing your own ways, nor finding your own pleasure, nor speaking your own words,If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, and the holy of Jehovah honorable; and shalt honor it, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words:만일 네가 안식일에 네 발을 돌이켜 내 거룩한 날에 네 즐거움을 행하지 않고, 안식일을 즐거운 날이라, 여호와의 거룩한 날을 존귀한 날이라 부르며, 네 길로 행하지 않고 네 즐거움을 찾지 않으며 헛된 말을 하지 않음으로 그날을 존귀하게 여기면,
14 then you will delight yourself in Yahweh, and I will make you to ride on the high places of the earth, and I will feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father;” for Yahweh’s mouth has spoken it.then shalt thou delight thyself in Jehovah; and I will make thee to ride upon the high places of the earth; and I will feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of Jehovah hath spoken it.그때에 너는 여호와 안에서 즐거워할 것이며, 내가 너를 땅의 높은 곳에 올라타게 하고 네 조상 야곱의 유산으로 너를 먹일 것이다. 이것은 여호와의 입이 하신 말씀이다.
