1 Zedekiah was twenty-one years old when he began to reign. He reigned eleven years in Jerusalem. 2 He did that which was evil in Yahweh’s sight, according to all that Jehoiakim had done.And he did that which was evil in the sight of Jehovah, according to all that Jehoiakim had done.그는 여호야김이 행한 모든 일을 그대로 따라, 여호와께서 보시기에 악한 일을 행했다.
3 For through Yahweh’s anger this happened in Jerusalem and Judah, until he had cast them out from his presence. 4 In the ninth year of his reign, in the tenth month, in the tenth day of the month, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came, he and all his army, against Jerusalem, and encamped against it; and they built forts against it round about.And it came to pass in the ninth year of his reign, in the tenth month, in the tenth day of the month, that Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon came, he and all his army, against Jerusalem, and encamped against it; and they built forts against it round about.그가 다스린 지 구 년째 되는 해, 열째 달 십 일에, 바벨론 왕 느부갓네살이 자기의 온 군대를 거느리고 예루살렘으로 쳐들어와 그 성을 마주하여 진을 치고, 성을 둘러 토성을 쌓았다.
5 So the city was besieged to the eleventh year of King Zedekiah.So the city was besieged unto the eleventh year of king Zedekiah.그리하여 그 성은 시드기야 왕 십일 년까지 포위되어 있었다.

7 Then a breach was made in the city, and all the men of war fled, and went out of the city by night by the way of the gate between the two walls, which was by the king’s garden. Now the Chaldeans were against the city all around. 10 The king of Babylon killed the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes. He also killed all the princes of Judah in Riblah.And the king of Babylon slew the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes: he slew also all the princes of Judah in Riblah.바벨론 왕은 시드기야의 눈앞에서 그의 아들들을 죽였고, 또 립나에서 유다의 모든 고관도 죽였다.
11 He put out the eyes of Zedekiah; and the king of Babylon bound him in fetters, and carried him to Babylon, and put him in prison until the day of his death.And he put out the eyes of Zedekiah; and the king of Babylon bound him in fetters, and carried him to Babylon, and put him in prison till the day of his death.그리고 시드기야의 두 눈을 빼고, 바벨론 왕은 그를 쇠사슬로 묶어 바벨론으로 끌고 가서, 죽는 날까지 옥에 가두었다.
12 Now in the fifth month, in the tenth day of the month, which was the nineteenth year of King Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard, who stood before the king of Babylon, came into Jerusalem.Now in the fifth month, in the tenth day of the month, which was the nineteenth year of king Nebuchadrezzar, king of Babylon, came Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard, who stood before the king of Babylon, into Jerusalem.다섯째 달 십 일, 곧 바벨론 왕 느부갓네살의 십구 년째 되는 해에, 바벨론 왕을 모시던 경호대장 느부사라단이 예루살렘에 들어왔다.
13 He burned Yahweh’s house, and the king’s house; and all the houses of Jerusalem, even every great house, he burned with fire.And he burned the house of Jehovah, and the king’s house; and all the houses of Jerusalem, even every great house, burned he with fire.그는 여호와의 성전과 왕궁을 불태웠고, 예루살렘의 모든 집, 곧 큰 집마다 다 불로 태웠다.
14 All the army of the Chaldeans, who were with the captain of the guard, broke down all the walls of Jerusalem all around.And all the army of the Chaldeans, that were with the captain of the guard, brake down all the walls of Jerusalem round about.경호대장과 함께 있던 갈대아의 온 군대는 예루살렘을 두른 모든 성벽을 헐어 버렸다.
15 Then Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carried away captive of the poorest of the people, and the rest of the people who were left in the city, and those who fell away, who defected to the king of Babylon, and the rest of the multitude.Then Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carried away captive of the poorest of the people, and the residue of the people that were left in the city, and those that fell away, that fell to the king of Babylon, and the residue of the multitude.그리고 경호대장 느부사라단은 백성 가운데 가장 가난한 자들과 성안에 남아 있던 나머지 백성과 바벨론 왕에게 항복하여 넘어간 자들과 남은 무리를 사로잡아 끌고 갔다.

17 The Chaldeans broke the pillars of bronze that were in Yahweh’s house and the bases and the bronze sea that were in Yahweh’s house in pieces, and carried all of their bronze to Babylon.And the pillars of brass that were in the house of Jehovah, and the bases and the brazen sea that were in the house of Jehovah, did the Chaldeans break in pieces, and carried all the brass of them to Babylon.갈대아 사람들은 여호와의 성전에 있던 놋기둥들과 받침대들과 놋바다를 깨뜨려, 그 놋을 모두 바벨론으로 가져갔다.
18 They also took away the pots, the shovels, the snuffers, the basins, the spoons, and all the vessels of bronze with which they ministered.The pots also, and the shovels, and the snuffers, and the basins, and the spoons, and all the vessels of brass wherewith they ministered, took they away.또 솥과 부삽과 부집게와 대접과 숟가락과, 그들이 섬길 때 쓰던 모든 놋그릇을 가져갔다.
19 The captain of the guard took away the cups, the fire pans, the basins, the pots, the lamp stands, the spoons, and the bowls; that which was of gold, as gold, and that which was of silver, as silver.And the cups, and the firepans, and the basins, and the pots, and the candlesticks, and the spoons, and the bowls — that which was of gold, in gold, and that which was of silver, in silver,— the captain of the guard took away.경호대장은 잔과 화로와 대접과 솥과 등잔대와 숟가락과 사발 등, 금으로 된 것은 금으로, 은으로 된 것은 은으로 된 것들을 가져갔다.
20 They took the two pillars, the one sea, and the twelve bronze bulls that were under the bases, which King Solomon had made for Yahweh’s house. The bronze of all these vessels was without weight.The two pillars, the one sea, and the twelve brazen bulls that were under the bases, which king Solomon had made for the house of Jehovah — the brass of all these vessels was without weight.또 두 기둥과 한 놋바다와, 솔로몬 왕이 여호와의 성전을 위하여 만든, 받침대 아래에 있던 열두 놋소를 가져갔는데, 이 모든 기물의 놋은 무게를 달 수 없을 만큼 많았다.
21 As for the pillars, the height of the one pillar was eighteen cubits; and a line of twelve cubits encircled it; and its thickness was four fingers. It was hollow.And as for the pillars, the height of the one pillar was eighteen cubits; and a line of twelve cubits did compass it; and the thickness thereof was four fingers: it was hollow.그 기둥으로 말하면, 한 기둥의 높이가 열여덟 규빗이요, 둘레는 열두 규빗 끈으로 둘러쌀 만했으며, 그 두께는 네 손가락이요, 속이 비어 있었다.
22 A capital of bronze was on it; and the height of the one capital was five cubits, with network and pomegranates on the capital all around, all of bronze. The second pillar also had the same, with pomegranates.And a capital of brass was upon it; and the height of the one capital was five cubits, with network and pomegranates upon the capital round about, all of brass: and the second pillar also had like unto these, and pomegranates.그 위에는 놋기둥머리가 있었는데, 한 기둥머리의 높이가 다섯 규빗이요, 기둥머리 둘레에는 그물과 석류가 다 놋으로 둘려 있었다. 둘째 기둥도 이와 같았으며 석류도 있었다.
23 There were ninety-six pomegranates on the sides; all the pomegranates were one hundred on the network all around.And there were ninety and six pomegranates on the sides; all the pomegranates were a hundred upon the network round about.한쪽에 석류가 아흔여섯 개 있었으니, 그물 둘레에 달린 석류는 모두 백 개였다.
24 The captain of the guard took Seraiah the chief priest, and Zephaniah the second priest, and the three keepers of the threshold,And the captain of the guard took Seraiah the chief priest, and Zephaniah the second priest, and the three keepers of the threshold:경호대장은 대제사장 스라야와 부제사장 스바냐와 성전 문지기 세 사람을 사로잡았다.
25 and out of the city he took an officer who was set over the men of war; and seven men of those who saw the king’s face, who were found in the city; and the scribe of the captain of the army, who mustered the people of the land; and sixty men of the people of the land, who were found in the middle of the city.and out of the city he took an officer that was set over the men of war; and seven men of them that saw the king’s face, that were found in the city; and the scribe of the captain of the host, who mustered the people of the land; and threescore men of the people of the land, that were found in the midst of the city.또 성안에서, 군사들을 거느린 관리 한 사람과, 성안에서 발견된, 왕을 가까이 모시던 사람 일곱 명과, 그 땅 백성을 징집하던 군대장관의 서기관과, 성안에서 발견된 그 땅 백성 예순 명을 잡았다.

27 The king of Babylon struck them, and put them to death at Riblah in the land of Hamath. So Judah was carried away captive out of his land.바벨론 왕은 하맛 땅 립나에서 그들을 쳐서 죽였다. 이렇게 유다는 자기 땅에서 사로잡혀 끌려갔다.
28 This is the number of the people whom Nebuchadnezzar carried away captive: in the seventh year, three thousand twenty-three Jews;This is the people whom Nebuchadrezzar carried away captive: in the seventh year three thousand Jews and three and twenty;느부갓네살이 사로잡아 간 백성은 이러하니, 칠 년째 되는 해에 유다 사람 삼천이십삼 명이었고,
29 in the eighteenth year of Nebuchadnezzar, he carried away captive from Jerusalem eight hundred thirty-two persons;in the eighteenth year of Nebuchadrezzar he carried away captive from Jerusalem eight hundred thirty and two persons;느부갓네살 십팔 년째 되는 해에는 예루살렘에서 팔백삼십이 명을 사로잡아 갔으며,
30 in the twenty-third year of Nebuchadnezzar, Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carried away captive of the Jews seven hundred forty-five people. All the people numbered four thousand six hundred.in the three and twentieth year of Nebuchadrezzar Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carried away captive of the Jews seven hundred forty and five persons: all the persons were four thousand and six hundred.느부갓네살 이십삼 년째 되는 해에는 경호대장 느부사라단이 유다 사람 칠백사십오 명을 사로잡아 갔으니, 모든 사람을 합하면 사천육백 명이었다.
31 In the thirty-seventh year of the captivity of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, in the twenty-fifth day of the month, Evilmerodach king of Babylon, in the first year of his reign, lifted up the head of Jehoiachin king of Judah, and released him from prison.And it came to pass in the seven and thirtieth year of the captivity of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, in the five and twentieth day of the month, that Evil-merodach king of Babylon, in the first year of his reign, lifted up the head of Jehoiachin king of Judah, and brought him forth out of prison;유다 왕 여호야긴이 사로잡힌 지 삼십칠 년째 되는 해, 열두째 달 이십오 일에, 바벨론 왕 에윌므로닥이 다스리기 시작한 첫해에, 유다 왕 여호야긴을 옥에서 풀어 그 머리를 들어 올려 주었다.
32 He spoke kindly to him, and set his throne above the throne of the kings who were with him in Babylon,and he spake kindly to him, and set his throne above the throne of the kings that were with him in Babylon,그에게 친절하게 말하고, 그의 자리를 바벨론에서 그와 함께 있던 왕들의 자리보다 높였다.

34 For his allowance, there was a continual allowance given him by the king of Babylon, every day a portion until the day of his death, all the days of his life.and for his allowance, there was a continual allowance given him by the king of Babylon, every day a portion until the day of his death, all the days of his life.그가 쓸 양식은 바벨론 왕에게서 날마다 일정량을 받았으니, 죽는 날까지 평생 동안 날마다 받는 몫이 있었다.
