1 Then Yahweh’s word came to me, saying,The word of Jehovah came also unto me, saying,여호와의 말씀이 또 내게 임하여 이르셨다.
2 “ You shall not take a wife, neither shall you have sons or daughters, in this place.”Thou shalt not take thee a wife, neither shalt thou have sons or daughters, in this place.너는 이곳에서 아내를 맞이하지 말고, 아들이나 딸도 두지 마라.
3 For Yahweh says concerning the sons and concerning the daughters who are born in this place, and concerning their mothers who bore them, and concerning their fathers who became their father in this land:For thus saith Jehovah concerning the sons and concerning the daughters that are born in this place, and concerning their mothers that bare them, and concerning their fathers that begat them in this land:이곳에서 태어난 아들들과 딸들에 대하여, 그들을 낳은 어머니들과 이 땅에서 그들을 낳은 아버지들에 대하여 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하셨다.
4 “ They will die grievous deaths. They will not be lamented, neither will they be buried. They will be as dung on the surface of the ground. They will be consumed by the sword and by famine. Their dead bodies will be food for the birds of the sky and for the animals of the earth.”They shall die grievous deaths: they shall not be lamented, neither shall they be buried; they shall be as dung upon the face of the ground; and they shall be consumed by the sword, and by famine; and their dead bodies shall be food for the birds of the heavens, and for the beasts of the earth.그들은 끔찍한 죽음을 맞이할 것이다. 아무도 그들을 위해 슬퍼하지 않고, 그들은 묻히지도 못하여 땅 위의 거름같이 될 것이다. 그들은 칼과 굶주림으로 사라질 것이며, 그 주검은 하늘의 새와 땅의 짐승의 먹이가 될 것이다.
5 For Yahweh says, “Don’t enter into the house of mourning. Don’t go to lament. Don’t bemoan them, for I have taken away my peace from this people,” says Yahweh, “ even loving kindness and tender mercies.For thus saith Jehovah, Enter not into the house of mourning, neither go to lament, neither bemoan them; for I have taken away my peace from this people, saith Jehovah, even lovingkindness and tender mercies.여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하셨다. 너는 초상집에 들어가지 말고, 가서 곡하지도 말며, 그들을 위해 애통해하지도 마라. 내가 이 백성에게서 내 평안을, 곧 인자와 긍휼을 거두었다고 여호와가 말한다.
6 Both great and small will die in this land. They will not be buried. Men won’t lament for them, cut themselves, or make themselves bald for them.Both great and small shall die in this land; they shall not be buried, neither shall men lament for them, nor cut themselves, nor make themselves bald for them;이 땅에서는 높은 자나 낮은 자나 다 죽을 것이며, 그들은 묻히지도 못하고, 사람들이 그들을 위해 슬퍼하지도 않고, 그들을 위해 제 몸을 베거나 머리털을 밀지도 않을 것이다.
7 Men won’t break bread for them in mourning, to comfort them for the dead. Men won’t give them the cup of consolation to drink for their father or for their mother.neither shall men break bread for them in mourning, to comfort them for the dead; neither shall men give them the cup of consolation to drink for their father or for their mother.죽은 자를 위해 애도하는 자들을 위로하려고 사람들이 떡을 떼어 주지도 않을 것이며, 그 아버지나 어머니를 잃은 자에게 위로의 잔을 마시게 해 주지도 않을 것이다.
8 “ You shall not go into the house of feasting to sit with them, to eat and to drink.”And thou shalt not go into the house of feasting to sit with them, to eat and to drink.너는 잔칫집에 들어가 그들과 함께 앉아 먹고 마시지도 마라.
9 For Yahweh of Armies, the God of Israel says: “ Behold, I will cause to cease out of this place, before your eyes and in your days, the voice of mirth and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride.For thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel: Behold, I will cause to cease out of this place, before your eyes and in your days, the voice of mirth and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride.만군의 여호와, 이스라엘의 하나님께서 이렇게 말씀하셨다. 보아라, 내가 너희가 보는 앞에서 너희 시대에 이곳에서 기뻐하는 소리와 즐거워하는 소리, 신랑의 소리와 신부의 소리를 그치게 할 것이다.
10 It will happen, when you tell this people all these words, and they ask you, ‘ Why has Yahweh pronounced all this great evil against us?’ or ‘ What is our iniquity?’ or ‘ What is our sin that we have committed against Yahweh our God?’And it shall come to pass, when thou shalt show this people all these words, and they shall say unto thee, Wherefore hath Jehovah pronounced all this great evil against us? or what is our iniquity? or what is our sin that we have committed against Jehovah our God?네가 이 모든 말씀을 이 백성에게 전할 때에, 그들이 네게 이렇게 말할 것이다. 어찌하여 여호와께서 우리에게 이 큰 재앙을 모두 선언하셨는가? 우리의 죄악이 무엇이며, 우리가 우리 하나님 여호와께 지은 죄가 무엇인가?
11 then you shall tell them, ‘ Because your fathers have forsaken me,’ says Yahweh, ‘ and have walked after other gods, have served them, have worshiped them, have forsaken me, and have not kept my law.then shalt thou say unto them, Because your fathers have forsaken me, saith Jehovah, and have walked after other gods, and have served them, and have worshipped them, and have forsaken me, and have not kept my law;그때에 너는 그들에게 이렇게 말하여라. 여호와가 말한다. 너희 조상들이 나를 버리고 다른 신들을 따라가 그들을 섬기고 경배하며, 나를 버리고 내 율법을 지키지 않았기 때문이다.
12 You have done evil more than your fathers, for behold, you each walk after the stubbornness of his evil heart, so that you don’t listen to me.and ye have done evil more than your fathers; for, behold, ye walk every one after the stubbornness of his evil heart, so that ye hearken not unto me:너희는 너희 조상들보다 더 악한 일을 행하였다. 보아라, 너희가 저마다 자기 악한 마음의 완고함을 따라 행하여 나에게 순종하지 않았다.
13 Therefore I will cast you out of this land into the land that you have not known, neither you nor your fathers. There you will serve other gods day and night, for I will show you no favor.’therefore will I cast you forth out of this land into the land that ye have not known, neither ye nor your fathers; and there shall ye serve other gods day and night; for I will show you no favor.그러므로 내가 너희를 이 땅에서 쫓아내어, 너희와 너희 조상이 알지 못하던 땅으로 던질 것이다. 거기서 너희는 밤낮으로 다른 신들을 섬기게 될 것이니, 이는 내가 너희에게 아무 은혜도 베풀지 않을 것이기 때문이다.
14 “ Therefore behold, the days come,” says Yahweh, “ that it will no more be said, ‘ As Yahweh lives, who brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;’Therefore, behold, the days come, saith Jehovah, that it shall no more be said, As Jehovah liveth, that brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;그러므로 여호와가 말한다. 보아라, 날이 이르리니, 다시는 사람들이 이스라엘 자손을 이집트 땅에서 인도해 내신 여호와의 살아 계심을 두고 맹세하지 않고,
15 but, ‘ As Yahweh lives, who brought up the children of Israel from the land of the north, and from all the countries where he had driven them.’ I will bring them again into their land that I gave to their fathers.but, As Jehovah liveth, that brought up the children of Israel from the land of the north, and from all the countries whither he had driven them. And I will bring them again into their land that I gave unto their fathers.오히려 이스라엘 자손을 북쪽 땅과 그들을 쫓아 보내셨던 모든 나라에서 인도해 내신 여호와의 살아 계심을 두고 맹세하게 될 것이다. 내가 그들을 그 조상들에게 준 그들의 땅으로 다시 데려올 것이다.
16 “ Behold, I will send for many fishermen,” says Yahweh, “ and they will fish them up. Afterward I will send for many hunters, and they will hunt them from every mountain, from every hill, and out of the clefts of the rocks.Behold, I will send for many fishers, saith Jehovah, and they shall fish them up; and afterward I will send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain, and from every hill, and out of the clefts of the rocks.여호와가 말한다. 보아라, 내가 많은 어부를 보내어 그들을 낚게 하고, 그 후에는 많은 사냥꾼을 보내어 모든 산과 모든 언덕과 바위틈에서 그들을 사냥하게 할 것이다.
17 For my eyes are on all their ways. They are not hidden from my face. Their iniquity isn’t concealed from my eyes.For mine eyes are upon all their ways; they are not hid from my face, neither is their iniquity concealed from mine eyes.내 눈이 그들의 모든 길을 지켜보고 있으니, 그들의 길이 내 얼굴 앞에서 숨겨지지 않으며, 그들의 죄악도 내 눈에서 가려지지 않는다.
18 First I will recompense their iniquity and their sin double, because they have polluted my land with the carcasses of their detestable things, and have filled my inheritance with their abominations.”And first I will recompense their iniquity and their sin double, because they have polluted my land with the carcasses of their detestable things, and have filled mine inheritance with their abominations.내가 먼저 그들의 죄악과 죄를 갑절로 갚을 것이니, 이는 그들이 가증한 우상들의 주검으로 내 땅을 더럽히고, 그 역겨운 것들로 내 기업을 가득 채웠기 때문이다.
19 Yahweh, my strength, my stronghold, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the nations will come to you from the ends of the earth, and will say, “ Our fathers have inherited nothing but lies, vanity and things in which there is no profit.O Jehovah, my strength, and my stronghold, and my refuge in the day of affliction, unto thee shall the nations come from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Our fathers have inherited nought but lies, even vanity and things wherein there is no profit.여호와여, 나의 힘이시요 나의 요새시요 환난 날의 나의 피난처시여, 땅끝에서 여러 민족이 주께 나아와 이렇게 말할 것입니다. 우리 조상들은 오직 거짓과 헛것과 아무 유익도 없는 것들만 물려받았습니다.
20 Should a man make to himself gods which yet are no gods?”Shall a man make unto himself gods, which yet are no gods?사람이 어찌 자기를 위하여 신을 만들겠습니까? 그것들은 결코 신이 아닙니다.
21 “ Therefore behold, I will cause them to know, this once I will cause them to know my hand and my might. Then they will know that my name is Yahweh.”Therefore, behold, I will cause them to know, this once will I cause them to know my hand and my might; and they shall know that my name is Jehovah.그러므로 보아라, 내가 이번에는 그들이 알게 할 것이다. 내 손과 내 능력을 그들이 알게 하리니, 그들이 내 이름이 여호와인 줄 알게 될 것이다.
