1 “ Woe to the shepherds who destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture!” says Yahweh.Woe unto the shepherds that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith Jehovah."내 목장의 양 떼를 망하게 하고 흩어 버리는 목자들에게 화가 있으리라!" 여호와께서 말씀하신다.
2 Therefore Yahweh, the God of Israel, says against the shepherds who feed my people: “ You have scattered my flock, driven them away, and have not visited them. Behold, I will visit on you the evil of your doings,” says Yahweh.Therefore thus saith Jehovah, the God of Israel, against the shepherds that feed my people: Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them; behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith Jehovah.그러므로 이스라엘의 하나님 여호와께서 내 백성을 먹이는 목자들을 향하여 이렇게 말씀하신다. "너희가 내 양 떼를 흩어 쫓아내고 돌보지 않았으니, 보라, 내가 너희의 악한 행위에 대해 너희를 벌하겠다." 여호와께서 말씀하신다.
3 “ I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all the countries where I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they will be fruitful and multiply.And I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all the countries whither I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and multiply."내가 내 양 떼의 남은 자들을 내가 그들을 쫓아 보낸 모든 나라에서 모아, 다시 그들의 우리로 데려오겠다. 그러면 그들이 번성하고 많아질 것이다.
4 I will set up shepherds over them who will feed them. They will no longer be afraid or dismayed, neither will any be lacking,” says Yahweh.And I will set up shepherds over them, who shall feed them; and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall any be lacking, saith Jehovah.내가 그들 위에 목자들을 세워 그들을 먹이게 하리니, 그들이 다시는 두려워하거나 놀라지 않을 것이며, 하나도 잃지 않을 것이다." 여호와께서 말씀하신다.
5 “ Behold, the days come,” says Yahweh, “ that I will raise to David a righteous Branch; and he will reign as king and deal wisely, and will execute justice and righteousness in the land.Behold, the days come, saith Jehovah, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and he shall reign as king and deal wisely, and shall execute justice and righteousness in the land."보라, 날이 오리니," 여호와께서 말씀하신다. "내가 다윗에게서 의로운 한 가지를 일으키겠다. 그가 왕이 되어 다스리며 지혜롭게 행하고, 이 땅에서 공의와 의를 행할 것이다.
6 In his days Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell safely. This is his name by which he will be called: Yahweh our righteousness.In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely; and this is his name whereby he shall be called: Jehovah our righteousness.그의 시대에 유다가 구원을 얻고 이스라엘이 안전히 거할 것이다. 그가 불릴 이름은 이것이니, '여호와 우리의 의'이다."
7 “ Therefore, behold, the days come,” says Yahweh, “ that they will no more say, ‘ As Yahweh lives, who brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;’Therefore, behold, the days come, saith Jehovah, that they shall no more say, As Jehovah liveth, who brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;"그러므로 보라, 날이 오리니," 여호와께서 말씀하신다. "사람들이 다시는 '이스라엘 자손을 이집트 땅에서 이끌어 내신 여호와께서 살아 계심을 두고' 라고 말하지 않을 것이다.
8 but, ‘ As Yahweh lives, who brought up and who led the offspring of the house of Israel out of the north country, and from all the countries where I had driven them.’ Then they will dwell in their own land.”but, As Jehovah liveth, who brought up and who led the seed of the house of Israel out of the north country, and from all the countries whither I had driven them. And they shall dwell in their own land.오히려 '이스라엘 집의 자손을 북쪽 땅에서, 내가 그들을 쫓아 보낸 모든 나라에서 이끌어 내신 여호와께서 살아 계심을 두고' 라고 말할 것이다. 그리고 그들이 자기 땅에 거할 것이다."
9 Concerning the prophets: My heart within me is broken. All my bones shake. I am like a drunken man, and like a man whom wine has overcome, because of Yahweh, and because of his holy words.Concerning the prophets. My heart within me is broken, all my bones shake; I am like a drunken man, and like a man whom wine hath overcome, because of Jehovah, and because of his holy words.선지자들에 관하여. 내 마음이 속에서 부서지고, 내 모든 뼈가 떨린다. 여호와 때문에, 그분의 거룩한 말씀 때문에, 나는 술 취한 사람 같고 포도주에 짓눌린 사람 같다.
10 “ For the land is full of adulterers; for because of the curse the land mourns. The pastures of the wilderness have dried up. Their course is evil, and their might is not right;For the land is full of adulterers; for because of swearing the land mourneth; the pastures of the wilderness are dried up. And their course is evil, and their might is not right;이는 이 땅이 간음하는 자들로 가득하기 때문이다. 저주로 인해 땅이 슬퍼하고, 광야의 초장이 말라 버렸다. 그들의 행위는 악하고 그들의 힘은 정당하지 못하다.
11 for both prophet and priest are profane. Yes, in my house I have found their wickedness,” says Yahweh.for both prophet and priest are profane; yea, in my house have I found their wickedness, saith Jehovah.선지자도 제사장도 다 더러워졌으니, 내 집에서조차 내가 그들의 악함을 발견하였다고 여호와께서 말씀하신다.
12 Therefore their way will be to them as slippery places in the darkness. They will be driven on, and fall therein; for I will bring evil on them, even the year of their visitation,” says Yahweh.Wherefore their way shall be unto them as slippery places in the darkness: they shall be driven on, and fall therein; for I will bring evil upon them, even the year of their visitation, saith Jehovah.그러므로 그들의 길은 그들에게 어둠 속의 미끄러운 곳 같이 되어, 그들이 거기서 떠밀려 넘어질 것이다. 내가 그들에게 재앙을, 곧 그들이 벌받을 해를 가져오겠다고 여호와께서 말씀하신다.
13 “ I have seen folly in the prophets of Samaria. They prophesied by Baal, and caused my people Israel to err.And I have seen folly in the prophets of Samaria; they prophesied by Baal, and caused my people Israel to err.내가 사마리아의 선지자들에게서 어리석음을 보았다. 그들이 바알을 의지해 예언하여 내 백성 이스라엘을 그르치게 하였다.
14 In the prophets of Jerusalem I have also seen a horrible thing: they commit adultery and walk in lies. They strengthen the hands of evildoers, so that no one returns from his wickedness. They have all become to me as Sodom, and its inhabitants as Gomorrah.”In the prophets of Jerusalem also I have seen a horrible thing: they commit adultery, and walk in lies; and they strengthen the hands of evil-doers, so that none doth return from his wickedness: they are all of them become unto me as Sodom, and the inhabitants thereof as Gomorrah.예루살렘의 선지자들에게서도 내가 끔찍한 일을 보았다. 그들이 간음하고 거짓 가운데 행하며, 악을 행하는 자들의 손을 강하게 하여 아무도 자기 악함에서 돌이키지 못하게 한다. 그들은 다 내게 소돔 같이 되었고, 그곳 주민은 고모라 같이 되었다.
15 Therefore Yahweh of Armies says concerning the prophets: “ Behold, I will feed them with wormwood, and make them drink poisoned water; for from the prophets of Jerusalem ungodliness has gone out into all the land.”Therefore thus saith Jehovah of hosts concerning the prophets: Behold, I will feed them with wormwood, and make them drink the water of gall; for from the prophets of Jerusalem is ungodliness gone forth into all the land.그러므로 만군의 여호와께서 선지자들에 관하여 이렇게 말씀하신다. "보라, 내가 그들에게 쓴 쑥을 먹이고 독한 물을 마시게 하겠다. 이는 예루살렘의 선지자들로부터 경건치 못함이 온 땅에 퍼져 나갔기 때문이다."
16 Yahweh of Armies says, “Don’t listen to the words of the prophets who prophesy to you. They teach you vanity. They speak a vision of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of Yahweh.Thus saith Jehovah of hosts, Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you: they teach you vanity; they speak a vision of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of Jehovah.만군의 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. "너희에게 예언하는 선지자들의 말을 듣지 말라. 그들은 너희를 헛되게 한다. 그들은 자기 마음의 환상을 말할 뿐, 여호와의 입에서 나온 것을 말하지 않는다.
17 They say continually to those who despise me, ‘ Yahweh has said, “ You will have peace;”’ and to everyone who walks in the stubbornness of his own heart they say, ‘ No evil will come on you.’They say continually unto them that despise me, Jehovah hath said, Ye shall have peace; and unto every one that walketh in the stubbornness of his own heart they say, No evil shall come upon you.그들은 나를 멸시하는 자들에게 늘 '여호와께서 너희가 평안하리라 하셨다'고 말하며, 자기 마음의 완고함을 따라 행하는 모든 자에게 '아무 재앙도 너희에게 임하지 않으리라'고 말한다."
18 For who has stood in the council of Yahweh, that he should perceive and hear his word? Who has listened to my word, and heard it?For who hath stood in the council of Jehovah, that he should perceive and hear his word? who hath marked my word, and heard it?도대체 누가 여호와의 회의에 서서 그분의 말씀을 깨닫고 들었느냐? 누가 내 말씀에 주의를 기울이고 들었느냐?
19 Behold, Yahweh’s storm, his wrath, has gone out. Yes, a whirling storm! It will burst on the head of the wicked.Behold, the tempest of Jehovah, even his wrath, is gone forth, yea, a whirling tempest: it shall burst upon the head of the wicked.보라, 여호와의 폭풍, 곧 그분의 진노가 나갔으니, 곧 회오리치는 폭풍이라. 그것이 악한 자들의 머리 위에 터질 것이다.
20 Yahweh’s anger will not return until he has executed and performed the intents of his heart. In the latter days, you will understand it perfectly.The anger of Jehovah shall not return, until he have executed, and till he have performed the intents of his heart: in the latter days ye shall understand it perfectly.여호와의 진노는 그분이 자기 마음의 뜻을 다 이루어 행하시기까지 돌이키지 않을 것이다. 마지막 날에 너희가 이것을 온전히 깨닫게 될 것이다.
21 I didn’t send these prophets, yet they ran. I didn’t speak to them, yet they prophesied.I sent not these prophets, yet they ran: I spake not unto them, yet they prophesied.나는 이 선지자들을 보내지 않았는데도 그들이 달려갔고, 나는 그들에게 말하지 않았는데도 그들이 예언하였다.
22 But if they had stood in my council, then they would have caused my people to hear my words, and would have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings.But if they had stood in my council, then had they caused my people to hear my words, and had turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings.그러나 그들이 내 회의에 섰더라면, 내 백성에게 내 말씀을 듣게 하여 그들의 악한 길과 악한 행위에서 돌이키게 하였을 것이다.
23 “ Am I a God at hand,” says Yahweh, “ and not a God afar off?Am I a God at hand, saith Jehovah, and not a God afar off?"내가 가까이 있는 하나님이고, 멀리 있는 하나님은 아니냐?" 여호와께서 말씀하신다.
24 Can anyone hide himself in secret places so that I can’t see him?” says Yahweh. “Don’t I fill heaven and earth?” says Yahweh.Can any hide himself in secret places so that I shall not see him? saith Jehovah. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith Jehovah."사람이 은밀한 곳에 숨어 내가 그를 보지 못하게 할 수 있느냐?" 여호와께서 말씀하신다. "내가 하늘과 땅을 채우지 않느냐?" 여호와께서 말씀하신다.
25 “ I have heard what the prophets have said, who prophesy lies in my name, saying, ‘ I had a dream! I had a dream!’I have heard what the prophets have said, that prophesy lies in my name, saying, I have dreamed, I have dreamed.내 이름으로 거짓을 예언하는 선지자들이 '내가 꿈을 꾸었다, 내가 꿈을 꾸었다'고 하며 한 말을 내가 들었다.
26 How long will this be in the heart of the prophets who prophesy lies, even the prophets of the deceit of their own heart?How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies, even the prophets of the deceit of their own heart?거짓을 예언하는 선지자들, 곧 자기 마음의 속임을 예언하는 선지자들의 마음에 언제까지 이런 것이 있겠느냐?
27 They intend to cause my people to forget my name by their dreams which they each tell his neighbor, as their fathers forgot my name because of Baal.that think to cause my people to forget my name by their dreams which they tell every man to his neighbor, as their fathers forgat my name for Baal.그들은 자기들이 서로에게 이야기하는 꿈으로 내 백성이 내 이름을 잊게 하려 하니, 마치 그들의 조상이 바알 때문에 내 이름을 잊은 것과 같다.
28 The prophet who has a dream, let him tell a dream; and he who has my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the straw to the wheat?” says Yahweh.The prophet that hath a dream, let him tell a dream; and he that hath my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the straw to the wheat? saith Jehovah.꿈을 꾼 선지자는 꿈을 말하게 하고, 내 말씀을 가진 자는 내 말씀을 신실하게 전하게 하라. 짚이 어찌 알곡과 같겠느냐? 여호와께서 말씀하신다.
29 “Isn’t my word like fire?” says Yahweh; “ and like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?Is not my word like fire? saith Jehovah; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?"내 말씀이 불 같지 않으냐?" 여호와께서 말씀하신다. "또 바위를 부수는 망치 같지 않으냐?"
30 “ Therefore behold, I am against the prophets,” says Yahweh, “ who each steal my words from his neighbor.Therefore, behold, I am against the prophets, saith Jehovah, that steal my words every one from his neighbor."그러므로 보라, 내가 서로에게서 내 말을 훔치는 선지자들을 대적한다." 여호와께서 말씀하신다.
31 Behold, I am against the prophets,” says Yahweh, “ who use their tongues, and say, ‘ He says.’Behold, I am against the prophets, saith Jehovah, that use their tongues, and say, He saith."보라, 자기 혀를 놀려 '그분이 말씀하신다'고 하는 선지자들을 내가 대적한다." 여호와께서 말씀하신다.
32 Behold, I am against those who prophesy lying dreams,” says Yahweh, “ who tell them, and cause my people to err by their lies, and by their vain boasting; yet I didn’t send them or command them. They don’t profit this people at all,” says Yahweh.Behold, I am against them that prophesy lying dreams, saith Jehovah, and do tell them, and cause my people to err by their lies, and by their vain boasting: yet I sent them not, nor commanded them; neither do they profit this people at all, saith Jehovah."보라, 거짓 꿈을 예언하고 그것을 이야기하여, 그들의 거짓과 헛된 자랑으로 내 백성을 그르치게 하는 자들을 내가 대적한다." 여호와께서 말씀하신다. "나는 그들을 보내지도 명하지도 않았으니, 그들은 이 백성에게 아무 유익도 끼치지 못한다." 여호와께서 말씀하신다.
33 “ When this people, or the prophet, or a priest, asks you, saying, ‘ What is the message from Yahweh?’ Then you shall tell them, ‘“ What message? I will cast you off,” says Yahweh.’And when this people, or the prophet, or a priest, shall ask thee, saying, What is the burden of Jehovah? then shalt thou say unto them, What burden! I will cast you off, saith Jehovah.이 백성이나 선지자나 제사장이 너에게 "여호와의 엄중한 말씀이 무엇이냐?"고 묻거든, 너는 그들에게 "무슨 엄중한 말씀이냐? 내가 너희를 버리겠다"고 여호와께서 말씀하신다고 전하라.
34 As for the prophet, the priest, and the people, who say, ‘ The message from Yahweh,’ I will even punish that man and his household.And as for the prophet, and the priest, and the people, that shall say, The burden of Jehovah, I will even punish that man and his house."여호와의 엄중한 말씀"이라고 말하는 선지자와 제사장과 백성, 그 사람과 그 집을 내가 벌하겠다.
35 You will say everyone to his neighbor, and everyone to his brother, ‘ What has Yahweh answered?’ and, ‘ What has Yahweh said?’Thus shall ye say every one to his neighbor, and every one to his brother, What hath Jehovah answered? and, What hath Jehovah spoken?너희는 저마다 자기 이웃에게, 저마다 자기 형제에게 "여호와께서 무엇이라 대답하셨느냐? 여호와께서 무엇이라 말씀하셨느냐?"라고 말하라.
36 You will mention the message from Yahweh no more, for every man’s own word has become his message; for you have perverted the words of the living God, of Yahweh of Armies, our God.And the burden of Jehovah shall ye mention no more: for every man’s own word shall be his burden; for ye have perverted the words of the living God, of Jehovah of hosts our God.너희는 다시는 "여호와의 엄중한 말씀"을 입에 올리지 말라. 이는 사람마다 자기 말이 자기에게 엄중한 짐이 될 것이기 때문이다. 너희가 살아 계신 하나님, 만군의 여호와 우리 하나님의 말씀을 왜곡하였구나.
37 You will say to the prophet, ‘ What has Yahweh answered you?’ and, ‘ What has Yahweh spoken?’Thus shalt thou say to the prophet, What hath Jehovah answered thee? and, What hath Jehovah spoken?너는 그 선지자에게 "여호와께서 너에게 무엇이라 대답하셨느냐? 여호와께서 무엇이라 말씀하셨느냐?"라고 말하라.
38 Although you say, ‘ The message from Yahweh,’ therefore Yahweh says: ‘ Because you say this word, “ The message from Yahweh,” and I have sent to you, telling you not to say, “ The message from Yahweh,”But if ye say, The burden of Jehovah; therefore thus saith Jehovah: Because ye say this word, The burden of Jehovah, and I have sent unto you, saying, Ye shall not say, The burden of Jehovah;그러나 너희가 "여호와의 엄중한 말씀"이라고 말한다면, 그러므로 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. "너희가 '여호와의 엄중한 말씀'이라는 이 말을 하기 때문에, 내가 너희에게 '여호와의 엄중한 말씀이라 말하지 말라'고 보내어 일렀거늘,
39 therefore behold, I will utterly forget you, and I will cast you off with the city that I gave to you and to your fathers, away from my presence.therefore, behold, I will utterly forget you, and I will cast you off, and the city that I gave unto you and to your fathers, away from my presence:그러므로 보라, 내가 너희를 완전히 잊고, 너희와 너희 조상에게 준 성읍과 함께 너희를 내 앞에서 던져 버리겠다.
40 I will bring an everlasting reproach on you, and a perpetual shame, which will not be forgotten.’”and I will bring an everlasting reproach upon you, and a perpetual shame, which shall not be forgotten.또 내가 너희에게 영원한 치욕과 영구한 수치를 가져오리니, 그것은 잊혀지지 않을 것이다."
