1 That same year, in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the fourth year, in the fifth month, Hananiah the son of Azzur, the prophet, who was of Gibeon, spoke to me in Yahweh’s house, in the presence of the priests and of all the people, saying,And it came to pass the same year, in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the fourth year, in the fifth month, that Hananiah the son of Azzur, the prophet, who was of Gibeon, spake unto me in the house of Jehovah, in the presence of the priests and of all the people, saying,같은 해, 곧 유다 왕 시드기야가 다스리기 시작한 초기인 넷째 해 다섯째 달에, 기브온 출신인 예언자 앗술의 아들 하나냐가 여호와의 성전에서 제사장들과 모든 백성이 보는 앞에서 나에게 이렇게 말하였다.
2 “ Yahweh of Armies, the God of Israel, says, ‘ I have broken the yoke of the king of Babylon.Thus speaketh Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel, saying, I have broken the yoke of the king of Babylon.만군의 여호와, 이스라엘의 하나님께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. 내가 바벨론 왕의 멍에를 꺾어 버렸다.
3 Within two full years I will bring again into this place all the vessels of Yahweh’s house that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon took away from this place and carried to Babylon.Within two full years will I bring again into this place all the vessels of Jehovah’s house, that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon took away from this place, and carried to Babylon:두 해가 다 차기 전에, 바벨론 왕 느부갓네살이 이곳에서 가져다가 바벨론으로 옮긴 여호와의 성전 기물들을 내가 모두 이곳으로 다시 가져오겠다.
4 I will bring again to this place Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, with all the captives of Judah, who went to Babylon,’ says Yahweh; ‘ for I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.’”and I will bring again to this place Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, with all the captives of Judah, that went to Babylon, saith Jehovah; for I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.또 바벨론으로 끌려간 여호야김의 아들 유다 왕 여고냐와 바벨론으로 잡혀간 유다의 모든 포로를 내가 이곳으로 다시 데려오겠다. 내가 바벨론 왕의 멍에를 꺾을 것이기 때문이다. 여호와의 말씀이다.
5 Then the prophet Jeremiah said to the prophet Hananiah in the presence of the priests, and in the presence of all the people who stood in Yahweh’s house,Then the prophet Jeremiah said unto the prophet Hananiah in the presence of the priests, and in the presence of all the people that stood in the house of Jehovah,그러자 예언자 예레미야가 여호와의 성전에 서 있던 제사장들과 모든 백성이 보는 앞에서 예언자 하나냐에게 말하였다.
6 even the prophet Jeremiah said, “Amen! May Yahweh do so. May Yahweh perform your words which you have prophesied, to bring again the vessels of Yahweh’s house, and all those who are captives, from Babylon to this place.even the prophet Jeremiah said, Amen: Jehovah do so; Jehovah perform thy words which thou hast prophesied, to bring again the vessels of Jehovah’s house, and all them of the captivity, from Babylon unto this place.예언자 예레미야가 이렇게 말하였다. 아멘. 여호와께서 그렇게 해 주시기를 바란다. 여호와께서 당신이 예언한 말씀대로 이루셔서, 여호와의 성전 기물들과 모든 포로를 바벨론에서 이곳으로 다시 데려오시기를 바란다.
7 Nevertheless listen now to this word that I speak in your ears, and in the ears of all the people:Nevertheless hear thou now this word that I speak in thine ears, and in the ears of all the people:그러나 내가 당신의 귀와 모든 백성의 귀에 들려주는 이 말을 이제 들어 보라.
8 The prophets who have been before me and before you of old prophesied against many countries, and against great kingdoms, of war, of evil, and of pestilence.The prophets that have been before me and before thee of old prophesied against many countries, and against great kingdoms, of war, and of evil, and of pestilence.나보다 먼저, 또 당신보다 먼저 옛적에 있던 예언자들은 많은 나라와 큰 왕국들을 향하여 전쟁과 재앙과 전염병을 예언하였다.
9 As for the prophet who prophesies of peace, when the word of the prophet happens, then the prophet will be known, that Yahweh has truly sent him.”The prophet that prophesieth of peace, when the word of the prophet shall come to pass, then shall the prophet be known, that Jehovah hath truly sent him.평화를 예언하는 예언자는 그 예언한 말씀이 이루어질 때에야, 여호와께서 참으로 그를 보내셨다는 것이 드러나게 된다.
10 Then Hananiah the prophet took the bar from off the prophet Jeremiah’s neck, and broke it.Then Hananiah the prophet took the bar from off the prophet Jeremiah’s neck, and brake it.그때 예언자 하나냐가 예언자 예레미야의 목에서 멍에를 벗겨 꺾어 버렸다.
11 Hananiah spoke in the presence of all the people, saying, “ Yahweh says: ‘ Even so I will break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon from off the neck of all the nations within two full years.’” Then the prophet Jeremiah went his way.And Hananiah spake in the presence of all the people, saying, Thus saith Jehovah: Even so will I break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon within two full years from off the neck of all the nations. And the prophet Jeremiah went his way.그리고 하나냐가 모든 백성이 보는 앞에서 말하였다. 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. 내가 이와 같이 두 해가 다 차기 전에 바벨론 왕 느부갓네살의 멍에를 모든 민족의 목에서 꺾어 버리겠다. 그러자 예언자 예레미야는 자기 길을 갔다.
12 Then Yahweh’s word came to Jeremiah, after Hananiah the prophet had broken the bar from off the neck of the prophet Jeremiah, saying,Then the word of Jehovah came unto Jeremiah, after that Hananiah the prophet had broken the bar from off the neck of the prophet Jeremiah, saying,예언자 하나냐가 예언자 예레미야의 목에서 멍에를 꺾어 버린 뒤에, 여호와의 말씀이 예레미야에게 임하여 이렇게 말씀하셨다.
13 “ Go, and tell Hananiah, saying, ‘ Yahweh says, “ You have broken the bars of wood, but you have made in their place bars of iron.”Go, and tell Hananiah, saying, Thus saith Jehovah: Thou hast broken the bars of wood; but thou hast made in their stead bars of iron.가서 하나냐에게 말하여라. 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. 네가 나무 멍에를 꺾었으나, 그 대신 쇠 멍에를 만들었다.
14 For Yahweh of Armies, the God of Israel says, “ I have put a yoke of iron on the neck of all these nations, that they may serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; and they will serve him. I have also given him the animals of the field.”’”For thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel: I have put a yoke of iron upon the neck of all these nations, that they may serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; and they shall serve him: and I have given him the beasts of the field also.만군의 여호와, 이스라엘의 하나님께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. 내가 이 모든 민족의 목에 쇠 멍에를 메워, 그들이 바벨론 왕 느부갓네살을 섬기게 하겠다. 그들이 그를 섬길 것이며, 내가 들짐승까지도 그에게 주었다.
15 Then the prophet Jeremiah said to Hananiah the prophet, “ Listen, Hananiah! Yahweh has not sent you, but you make this people trust in a lie.Then said the prophet Jeremiah unto Hananiah the prophet, Hear now, Hananiah: Jehovah hath not sent thee; but thou makest this people to trust in a lie.그때 예언자 예레미야가 예언자 하나냐에게 말하였다. 하나냐야, 이제 들어 보라. 여호와께서는 너를 보내지 않으셨는데, 너는 이 백성으로 거짓을 신뢰하게 하였다.
16 Therefore Yahweh says, ‘ Behold, I will send you away from off the surface of the earth. This year you will die, because you have spoken rebellion against Yahweh.’”Therefore thus saith Jehovah, Behold, I will send thee away from off the face of the earth: this year thou shalt die, because thou hast spoken rebellion against Jehovah.그러므로 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. 보라, 내가 너를 땅 위에서 쫓아내겠다. 네가 여호와를 거역하는 말을 하였으므로, 올해에 네가 죽을 것이다.
17 So Hananiah the prophet died the same year in the seventh month.So Hananiah the prophet died the same year in the seventh month.그래서 예언자 하나냐는 그해 일곱째 달에 죽었다.
