1 When Jeremiah had finished speaking to all the people all the words of Yahweh their God, with which Yahweh their God had sent him to them, even all these words,And it came to pass that, when Jeremiah had made an end of speaking unto all the people all the words of Jehovah their God, wherewith Jehovah their God had sent him to them, even all these words,예레미야가 그들의 하나님 여호와께서 자기를 그들에게 보내어 전하게 하신 모든 말씀, 곧 여호와의 이 모든 말씀을 온 백성에게 다 전하기를 마쳤을 때에,
2 then Azariah the son of Hoshaiah, Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the proud men spoke, saying to Jeremiah, “ You speak falsely. Yahweh our God has not sent you to say, ‘ You shall not go into Egypt to live there;’then spake Azariah the son of Hoshaiah, and Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the proud men, saying unto Jeremiah, Thou speakest falsely: Jehovah our God hath not sent thee to say, Ye shall not go into Egypt to sojourn there;호사야의 아들 아사랴와 가레아의 아들 요하난과 모든 교만한 사람들이 예레미야에게 말하였다. "당신은 거짓말을 하고 있소. 우리 하나님 여호와께서는 '너희는 이집트로 가서 거기서 살지 말라'고 말하라고 당신을 보내신 적이 없소.
3 but Baruch the son of Neriah has turned you against us, to deliver us into the hand of the Chaldeans, that they may put us to death or carry us away captive to Babylon.”but Baruch the son of Neriah setteth thee on against us, to deliver us into the hand of the Chaldeans, that they may put us to death, and carry us away captive to Babylon.네리야의 아들 바룩이 당신을 부추겨 우리를 대적하게 하여, 우리를 바벨론 사람들의 손에 넘겨 죽게 하고, 우리를 바벨론으로 사로잡아 끌고 가게 하려는 것이오."
4 So Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces, and all the people, didn’t obey Yahweh’s voice, to dwell in the land of Judah.So Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces, and all the people, obeyed not the voice of Jehovah, to dwell in the land of Judah.그리하여 가레아의 아들 요하난과 모든 군대 지휘관들과 온 백성이 유다 땅에 머물러 살라는 여호와의 음성에 순종하지 않았다.
5 But Johanan the son of Kareah and all the captains of the forces took all the remnant of Judah, who had returned from all the nations where they had been driven, to live in the land of Judah —But Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces, took all the remnant of Judah, that were returned from all the nations whither they had been driven, to sojourn in the land of Judah;도리어 가레아의 아들 요하난과 모든 군대 지휘관들은 쫓겨났던 모든 나라에서 돌아와 유다 땅에 살게 된 유다의 남은 사람들을 다 데리고 갔다.
6 the men, the women, the children, the king’s daughters, and every person who Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard had left with Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan; and Jeremiah the prophet, and Baruch the son of Neriah.the men, and the women, and the children, and the king’s daughters, and every person that Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard had left with Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan; and Jeremiah the prophet, and Baruch the son of Neriah.곧 남자들과 여자들과 아이들과 왕의 딸들과, 호위대장 느부사라단이 사반의 손자요 아히감의 아들인 그달리야에게 맡겨 둔 모든 사람과, 예레미야 선지자와 네리야의 아들 바룩까지 다 데리고,
7 They came into the land of Egypt, for they didn’t obey Yahweh’s voice; and they came to Tahpanhes.And they came into the land of Egypt; for they obeyed not the voice of Jehovah: and they came unto Tahpanhes.이집트 땅으로 들어가 다바네스에 이르렀으니, 이는 그들이 여호와의 음성에 순종하지 않았기 때문이다.
8 Then Yahweh’s word came to Jeremiah in Tahpanhes, saying,Then came the word of Jehovah unto Jeremiah in Tahpanhes, saying,그때에 여호와의 말씀이 다바네스에서 예레미야에게 임하여 이르셨다.
9 “ Take great stones in your hand and hide them in mortar in the brick work which is at the entry of Pharaoh’s house in Tahpanhes, in the sight of the men of Judah.Take great stones in thy hand, and hide them in mortar in the brickwork, which is at the entry of Pharaoh’s house in Tahpanhes, in the sight of the men of Judah;"너는 큰 돌들을 손에 가져다가, 유다 사람들이 보는 앞에서 다바네스에 있는 바로의 궁전 어귀의 벽돌 깔린 곳에 진흙으로 감추어 두어라.
10 Tell them, Yahweh of Armies, the God of Israel, says: ‘ Behold, I will send and take Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and will set his throne on these stones that I have hidden; and he will spread his royal pavilion over them.and say unto them, Thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel: Behold, I will send and take Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and will set his throne upon these stones that I have hid; and he shall spread his royal pavilion over them.그리고 그들에게 말하여라. 만군의 여호와, 이스라엘의 하나님이 이렇게 말한다. 보라, 내가 사람을 보내어 내 종 바벨론 왕 느부갓네살을 데려오리니, 내가 그의 보좌를 내가 감추어 둔 이 돌들 위에 두겠고, 그가 자기의 왕궁 차일을 그 위에 펼 것이다.
11 He will come, and will strike the land of Egypt; such as are for death will be put to death, and such as are for captivity to captivity, and such as are for the sword to the sword.And he shall come, and shall smite the land of Egypt; such as are for death shall be given to death, and such as are for captivity to captivity, and such as are for the sword to the sword.그가 와서 이집트 땅을 칠 것이니, 죽을 자는 죽음에 넘겨지고, 사로잡힐 자는 사로잡힘에, 칼을 받을 자는 칼에 넘겨질 것이다.
12 I will kindle a fire in the houses of the gods of Egypt. He will burn them, and carry them away captive. He will array himself with the land of Egypt, as a shepherd puts on his garment; and he will go out from there in peace.And I will kindle a fire in the houses of the gods of Egypt; and he shall burn them, and carry them away captive: and he shall array himself with the land of Egypt, as a shepherd putteth on his garment; and he shall go forth from thence in peace.내가 이집트 신들의 신전에 불을 지르리니, 느부갓네살이 그것들을 불사르고 그 신상들을 사로잡아 가져갈 것이다. 그가 목자가 자기 옷을 걸쳐 입듯이 이집트 땅을 두르고, 평안히 그곳에서 떠나갈 것이다.
13 He will also break the pillars of Beth Shemesh that is in the land of Egypt; and he will burn the houses of the gods of Egypt with fire.’”He shall also break the pillars of Beth-shemesh, that is in the land of Egypt; and the houses of the gods of Egypt shall he burn with fire.그가 또 이집트 땅에 있는 벧세메스의 기둥들을 부수고, 이집트 신들의 신전들을 불로 사르리라."
