Genesis 27장

When Isaac was old, and his eyes were dim, so that he could not see, he called Esau his elder son, and said to him, “ My son?” He said to him, “ Here I am.”And it came to pass, that when Isaac was old, and his eyes were dim, so that he could not see, he called Esau his elder son, and said unto him, My son: and he said unto him, Here am I.이삭이 나이가 많아 눈이 어두워져 볼 수 없게 되었을 때, 그는 큰아들 에서를 불러 그에게 말했다.

He said, “ See now, I am old. I don’t know the day of my death. And he said, Behold now, I am old, I know not the day of my death.

Now therefore, please take your weapons, your quiver and your bow, and go out to the field, and get me venison. Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me venison;그러니 이제 네 무기, 곧 화살통과 활을 가지고 들로 나가 나를 위해 사냥한 고기를 잡아 오너라.

Make me savory food, such as I love, and bring it to me, that I may eat, and that my soul may bless you before I die.”and make me savory food, such as I love, and bring it to me, that I may eat; that my soul may bless thee before I die.

Rebekah heard when Isaac spoke to Esau his son. Esau went to the field to hunt for venison, and to bring it.And Rebekah heard when Isaac spake to Esau his son. And Esau went to the field to hunt for venison, and to bring it.

Rebekah spoke to Jacob her son, saying, “ Behold, I heard your father speak to Esau your brother, saying,And Rebekah spake unto Jacob her son, saying, Behold, I heard thy father speak unto Esau thy brother, saying,리브가가 그의 아들 야곱에게 말했다.

‘ Bring me venison, and make me savory food, that I may eat, and bless you before Yahweh before my death.’Bring me venison, and make me savory food, that I may eat, and bless thee before Jehovah before my death.‘나를 위해 사냥한 고기를 가져와 별미를 만들어라.

Now therefore, my son, obey my voice according to that which I command you.Now therefore, my son, obey my voice according to that which I command thee.

Go now to the flock and get me two good young goats from there. I will make them savory food for your father, such as he loves.Go now to the flock, and fetch me from thence two good kids of the goats; and I will make them savory food for thy father, such as he loveth:가축 떼에게 가서 좋은 새끼 염소 두 마리를 내게 가져오너라.

You shall bring it to your father, that he may eat, so that he may bless you before his death.”and thou shalt bring it to thy father, that he may eat, so that he may bless thee before his death.

Jacob said to Rebekah his mother, “ Behold, Esau my brother is a hairy man, and I am a smooth man.And Jacob said to Rebekah his mother, Behold, Esau my brother is a hairy man, and I am a smooth man.

What if my father touches me? I will seem to him as a deceiver, and I would bring a curse on myself, and not a blessing.”My father peradventure will feel me, and I shall seem to him as a deceiver; and I shall bring a curse upon me, and not a blessing.

His mother said to him, “ Let your curse be on me, my son. Only obey my voice, and go get them for me.”And his mother said unto him, Upon me be thy curse, my son; only obey my voice, and go fetch me them.

He went, and got them, and brought them to his mother. His mother made savory food, such as his father loved. And he went, and fetched, and brought them to his mother: and his mother made savory food, such as his father loved.

Rebekah took the good clothes of Esau, her elder son, which were with her in the house, and put them on Jacob, her younger son.And Rebekah took the goodly garments of Esau her elder son, which were with her in the house, and put them upon Jacob her younger son;리브가는 집 안에 자기가 가지고 있던 큰아들 에서의 좋은 옷을 가져다가 작은아들 야곱에게 입혔다.

She put the skins of the young goats on his hands, and on the smooth of his neck.and she put the skins of the kids of the goats upon his hands, and upon the smooth of his neck:그리고 새끼 염소의 가죽을 그의 두 손과 매끈한 목에 둘러 주었다.

She gave the savory food and the bread, which she had prepared, into the hand of her son Jacob.and she gave the savory food and the bread, which she had prepared, into the hand of her son Jacob.

He came to his father, and said, “My father?” He said, “ Here I am. Who are you, my son?”And he came unto his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I; who art thou, my son?

Jacob said to his father, “ I am Esau your firstborn. I have done what you asked me to do. Please arise, sit and eat of my venison, that your soul may bless me.”And Jacob said unto his father, I am Esau thy first-born; I have done according as thou badest me: arise, I pray thee, sit and eat of my venison, that thy soul may bless me.

Isaac said to his son, “ How is it that you have found it so quickly, my son?” He said, “ Because Yahweh your God gave me success.”And Isaac said unto his son, How is it that thou hast found it so quickly, my son? And he said, Because Jehovah thy God sent me good speed.

Isaac said to Jacob, “ Please come near, that I may feel you, my son, whether you are really my son Esau or not.”And Isaac said unto Jacob, Come near, I pray thee, that I may feel thee, my son, whether thou be my very son Esau or not.

Jacob went near to Isaac his father. He felt him, and said, “ The voice is Jacob’s voice, but the hands are the hands of Esau.”And Jacob went near unto Isaac his father; and he felt him, and said, The voice is Jacob’s voice, but the hands are the hands of Esau.

He didn’t recognize him, because his hands were hairy, like his brother Esau’s hands. So he blessed him.And he discerned him not, because his hands were hairy, as his brother Esau’s hands: so he blessed him.

He said, “ Are you really my son Esau?” He said, “ I am.”And he said, Art thou my very son Esau? And he said, I am.

He said, “ Bring it near to me, and I will eat of my son’s venison, that my soul may bless you.” He brought it near to him, and he ate. He brought him wine, and he drank. And he said, Bring it near to me, and I will eat of my son’s venison, that my soul may bless thee. And he brought it near to him, and he did eat: and he brought him wine, and he drank.

His father Isaac said to him, “ Come near now, and kiss me, my son.”And his father Isaac said unto him, Come near now, and kiss me, my son.

He came near, and kissed him. He smelled the smell of his clothing, and blessed him, and said, “ Behold, the smell of my son is as the smell of a field which Yahweh has blessed. And he came near, and kissed him: and he smelled the smell of his raiment, and blessed him, and said, See, the smell of my son Is as the smell of a field which Jehovah hath blessed:야곱이 가까이 가서 입을 맞추었다.

God give you of the dew of the sky, of the fatness of the earth, and plenty of grain and new wine. And God give thee of the dew of heaven, And of the fatness of the earth, And plenty of grain and new wine:하나님께서 네게 하늘의 이슬과 땅의 기름진 것과 풍성한 곡식과 새 포도주를 주시기를 바란다.

Let peoples serve you, and nations bow down to you. Be lord over your brothers. Let your mother’s sons bow down to you. Cursed be everyone who curses you. Blessed be everyone who blesses you.”Let peoples serve thee, And nations bow down to thee: Be lord over thy brethren, And let thy mother’s sons bow down to thee: Cursed be every one that curseth thee, And blessed be every one that blesseth thee.

As soon as Isaac had finished blessing Jacob, and Jacob had just gone out from the presence of Isaac his father, Esau his brother came in from his hunting. And it came to pass, as soon as Isaac had made an end of blessing Jacob, and Jacob was yet scarce gone out from the presence of Isaac his father, that Esau his brother came in from his hunting.

He also made savory food, and brought it to his father. He said to his father, “ Let my father arise, and eat of his son’s venison, that your soul may bless me.”And he also made savory food, and brought it unto his father; and he said unto his father, Let my father arise, and eat of his son’s venison, that thy soul may bless me.

Isaac his father said to him, “ Who are you?” He said, “ I am your son, your firstborn, Esau.”And Isaac his father said unto him, Who art thou? And he said, I am thy son, thy first-born, Esau.

Isaac trembled violently, and said, “ Who, then, is he who has taken venison, and brought it to me, and I have eaten of all before you came, and have blessed him? Yes, he will be blessed.”And Isaac trembled very exceedingly, and said, Who then is he that hath taken venison, and brought it me, and I have eaten of all before thou camest, and have blessed him? yea, and he shall be blessed.

When Esau heard the words of his father, he cried with an exceedingly great and bitter cry, and said to his father, “ Bless me, even me also, my father.”When Esau heard the words of his father, he cried with an exceeding great and bitter cry, and said unto his father, Bless me, even me also, O my father.

He said, “ Your brother came with deceit, and has taken away your blessing.”And he said, Thy brother came with guile, and hath taken away thy blessing.

He said, “Isn’t he rightly named Jacob? For he has supplanted me these two times. He took away my birthright. See, now he has taken away my blessing.” He said, “Haven’t you reserved a blessing for me?”And he said, Is not he rightly named Jacob? for he hath supplanted me these two times: he took away my birthright; and, behold, now he hath taken away my blessing. And he said, Hast thou not reserved a blessing for me?

Isaac answered Esau, “ Behold, I have made him your lord, and all his brothers I have given to him for servants. I have sustained him with grain and new wine. What then will I do for you, my son?”And Isaac answered and said unto Esau, Behold, I have made him thy lord, and all his brethren have I given to him for servants; and with grain and new wine have I sustained him: and what then shall I do for thee, my son?

Esau said to his father, “Do you have just one blessing, my father? Bless me, even me also, my father.” Esau lifted up his voice, and wept. And Esau said unto his father, Hast thou but one blessing, my father? bless me, even me also, O my father. And Esau lifted up his voice, and wept.

Isaac his father answered him, “ Behold, your dwelling will be of the fatness of the earth, and of the dew of the sky from above. And Isaac his father answered and said unto him, Behold, of the fatness of the earth shall be thy dwelling, And of the dew of heaven from above;그의 아버지 이삭이 그에게 대답했다.

You will live by your sword, and you will serve your brother. It will happen, when you will break loose, that you will shake his yoke from off your neck.”And by thy sword shalt thou live, and thou shalt serve thy brother; And it shall come to pass, when thou shalt break loose, That thou shalt shake his yoke from off thy neck.

Esau hated Jacob because of the blessing with which his father blessed him. Esau said in his heart, “ The days of mourning for my father are at hand. Then I will kill my brother Jacob.”And Esau hated Jacob because of the blessing wherewith his father blessed him: and Esau said in his heart, The days of mourning for my father are at hand; then will I slay my brother Jacob.

The words of Esau, her elder son, were told to Rebekah. She sent and called Jacob, her younger son, and said to him, “ Behold, your brother Esau comforts himself about you by planning to kill you.And the words of Esau her elder son were told to Rebekah; and she sent and called Jacob her younger son, and said unto him, Behold, thy brother Esau, as touching thee, doth comfort himself, purposing to kill thee.

Now therefore, my son, obey my voice. Arise, flee to Laban, my brother, in Haran. Now therefore, my son, obey my voice; and arise, flee thou to Laban my brother to Haran;그러니 이제 내 아들아, 내 말을 듣고 일어나 하란에 있는 내 오라버니 라반에게로 피하여라.

Stay with him a few days, until your brother’s fury turns away —and tarry with him a few days, until thy brother’s fury turn away;

until your brother’s anger turns away from you, and he forgets what you have done to him. Then I will send, and get you from there. Why should I be bereaved of you both in one day?”until thy brother’s anger turn away from thee, and he forget that which thou hast done to him: then I will send, and fetch thee from thence: why should I be bereaved of you both in one day?

Rebekah said to Isaac, “ I am weary of my life because of the daughters of Heth. If Jacob takes a wife of the daughters of Heth, such as these, of the daughters of the land, what good will my life do me?”And Rebekah said to Isaac, I am weary of my life because of the daughters of Heth: if Jacob take a wife of the daughters of Heth, such as these, of the daughters of the land, what good shall my life do me?
