1 After these things, God tested Abraham, and said to him, “Abraham!” He said, “ Here I am.”And it came to pass after these things, that God did prove Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham; and he said, Here am I.이 일들이 있은 뒤에, 하나님께서 아브라함을 시험하시려고 그를 부르셨습니다. "아브라함아!" 그가 대답했습니다. "제가 여기 있습니다."
2 He said, “ Now take your son, your only son, Isaac, whom you love, and go into the land of Moriah. Offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains which I will tell you of.”And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son, whom thou lovest, even Isaac, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt-offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.하나님께서 말씀하셨습니다. 3 Abraham rose early in the morning, and saddled his donkey; and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son. 5 Abraham said to his young men, “ Stay here with the donkey. The boy and I will go over there. We will worship, and come back to you.”And Abraham said unto his young men, Abide ye here with the ass, and I and the lad will go yonder; and we will worship, and come again to you.아브라함이 종들에게 말했습니다. "너희는 나귀와 함께 여기 머물러 있어라. 나와 이 아이는 저기로 가서 예배하고 너희에게 돌아오겠다."
6 Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering and laid it on Isaac his son. He took in his hand the fire and the knife. They both went together.And Abraham took the wood of the burnt-offering, and laid it upon Isaac his son; and he took in his hand the fire and the knife; and they went both of them together.아브라함은 번제에 쓸 나무를 가져다 아들 이삭에게 지우고, 자기 손에는 불과 칼을 들었습니다. 그렇게 두 사람은 함께 걸어갔습니다.
7 Isaac spoke to Abraham his father, and said, “My father?” He said, “ Here I am, my son.” He said, “ Here is the fire and the wood, but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?”And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold, the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt-offering?이삭이 아버지 아브라함에게 말했습니다. "아버지." 그가 대답했습니다. "내 아들아, 내가 여기 있다." 이삭이 말했습니다. "불과 나무는 여기 있는데, 번제로 드릴 어린 양은 어디 있습니까?"
8 Abraham said, “God will provide himself the lamb for a burnt offering, my son.” So they both went together.And Abraham said, God will provide himself the lamb for a burnt-offering, my son: so they went both of them together.아브라함이 대답했습니다. "내 아들아, 번제로 드릴 어린 양은 하나님께서 친히 준비하실 것이다." 그러고 나서 두 사람은 함께 걸어갔습니다.
9 They came to the place which God had told him of. 10 Abraham stretched out his hand, and took the knife to kill his son.And Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son.아브라함이 손을 내밀어 아들을 죽이려고 칼을 잡았습니다.
11 Yahweh’s angel called to him out of the sky, and said, “Abraham, Abraham!” He said, “ Here I am.”And the angel of Jehovah called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here am I.그때 여호와의 천사가 하늘에서 그를 불렀습니다. "아브라함아, 아브라함아!" 그가 대답했습니다. "제가 여기 있습니다."
12 He said, “Don’t lay your hand on the boy or do anything to him. For now I know that you fear God, since you have not withheld your son, your only son, from me.”And he said, Lay not thy hand upon the lad, neither do thou anything unto him; for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son, from me.천사가 말했습니다. "그 아이에게 손을 대지 말아라. 그에게 아무 일도 하지 말아라. 네가 네 아들, 네 외아들까지 내게 아끼지 않았으니, 네가 하나님을 경외하는 줄을 내가 이제 알았다."
13 Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and saw that behind him was a ram caught in the thicket by his horns. Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering instead of his son.And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and, behold, behind him a ram caught in the thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt-offering in the stead of his son.아브라함이 눈을 들어 바라보니, 자기 뒤편에 숫양 한 마리가 뿔이 덤불에 걸려 있었습니다. 아브라함은 가서 그 숫양을 가져다 아들 대신 번제로 드렸습니다.
14 Abraham called the name of that place “ Yahweh Will Provide”. As it is said to this day, “ On Yahweh’s mountain, it will be provided.”And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovah-jireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of Jehovah it shall be provided.아브라함은 그곳의 이름을 "여호와께서 준비하신다"라고 불렀습니다. 그래서 오늘날까지 "여호와의 산에서 준비될 것이다"라고 말합니다.
15 Yahweh’s angel called to Abraham a second time out of the sky,And the angel of Jehovah called unto Abraham a second time out of heaven,여호와의 천사가 하늘에서 두 번째로 아브라함을 불러
16 and said, “‘ I have sworn by myself,’ says Yahweh, ‘ because you have done this thing, and have not withheld your son, your only son,and said, By myself have I sworn, saith Jehovah, because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son,말했습니다. "여호와의 말씀이다. 내가 나 자신을 두고 맹세한다. 네가 이 일을 행하여 네 아들, 네 외아들까지 아끼지 않았으니,
17 that I will bless you greatly, and I will multiply your offspring greatly like the stars of the heavens, and like the sand which is on the seashore. Your offspring will possess the gate of his enemies.that in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heavens, and as the sand which is upon the sea-shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;내가 반드시 네게 큰 복을 주고, 네 자손을 하늘의 별처럼, 바닷가의 모래처럼 크게 번성하게 하겠다. 네 자손은 원수들의 성문을 차지할 것이다.
18 All the nations of the earth will be blessed by your offspring, because you have obeyed my voice.’”and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.네가 내 목소리에 순종하였으니, 네 자손으로 말미암아 땅의 모든 민족이 복을 받을 것이다."
19 So Abraham returned to his young men, and they rose up and went together to Beersheba. Abraham lived at Beersheba.So Abraham returned unto his young men, and they rose up and went together to Beer-sheba; and Abraham dwelt at Beer-sheba.그래서 아브라함은 종들에게로 돌아가, 그들과 함께 일어나 브엘세바로 갔습니다. 그리고 아브라함은 브엘세바에서 살았습니다.
20 After these things, Abraham was told, “ Behold, Milcah, she also has borne children to your brother Nahor:And it came to pass after these things, that it was told Abraham, saying, Behold, Milcah, she also hath borne children unto thy brother Nahor:이 일들이 있은 뒤에, 아브라함에게 이런 소식이 전해졌습니다. "보십시오. 밀가도 당신의 동생 나홀에게 자녀를 낳아 주었습니다.
21 Uz his firstborn, Buz his brother, Kemuel the father of Aram,Uz his first-born, and Buz his brother, and Kemuel the father of Aram,맏아들 우스와 그 동생 부스와 아람의 아버지 그무엘과
22 Chesed, Hazo, Pildash, Jidlaph, and Bethuel.”and Chesed, and Hazo, and Pildash, and Jidlaph, and Bethuel.게셋과 하소와 빌다스와 이들랍과 브두엘입니다."
23 Bethuel became the father of Rebekah. These eight Milcah bore to Nahor, Abraham’s brother.And Bethuel begat Rebekah: these eight did Milcah bear to Nahor, Abraham’s brother.브두엘은 리브가를 낳았습니다. 이 여덟 사람은 밀가가 아브라함의 동생 나홀에게 낳아 준 자녀입니다.
24 His concubine, whose name was Reumah, also bore Tebah, Gaham, Tahash, and Maacah.And his concubine, whose name was Reumah, she also bare Tebah, and Gaham, and Tahash, and Maacah.또 나홀의 첩 르우마라는 여인도 데바와 가함과 다하스와 마아가를 낳았습니다.
