1 Now this is the history of the generations of the sons of Noah and of Shem, Ham, and Japheth. 3 The sons of Gomer were: Ashkenaz, Riphath, and Togarmah.And the sons of Gomer: Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.고멜의 아들들은 아스그나스와 리밧과 도갈마입니다.
4 The sons of Javan were: Elishah, Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.And the sons of Javan: Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.야완의 아들들은 엘리사와 다시스와 깃딤과 도다님입니다.

14 Pathrusim, Casluhim ( which the Philistines descended from ), and Caphtorim.and Pathrusim, and Casluhim (whence went forth the Philistines ), and Caphtorim.바드루심과 가슬루힘과 갑도림을 낳았는데, 블레셋 사람이 바로 가슬루힘에게서 나왔습니다.
15 Canaan became the father of Sidon ( his firstborn ), Heth,And Canaan begat Sidon his first-born, and Heth,가나안은 맏아들 시돈과 헷을 낳았고,
16 the Jebusites, the Amorites, the Girgashites,and the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite,또 여부스 족속과 아모리 족속과 기르가스 족속과
17 the Hivites, the Arkites, the Sinites,and the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,히위 족속과 알가 족속과 신 족속과
18 the Arvadites, the Zemarites, and the Hamathites. Afterward the families of the Canaanites were spread abroad.and the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite: and afterward were the families of the Canaanite spread abroad.아르왓 족속과 스말 족속과 하맛 족속을 낳았습니다. 그 뒤에 가나안 족속의 가문들이 널리 퍼져 나갔습니다.
19 The border of the Canaanites was from Sidon — as you go toward Gerar — to Gaza — as you go toward Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboiim — to Lasha.And the border of the Canaanite was from Sidon, as thou goest toward Gerar, unto Gaza; as thou goest toward Sodom and Gomorrah and Admah and Zeboiim, unto Lasha.가나안 족속의 경계는 시돈에서 그랄을 지나 가사에 이르고, 또 소돔과 고모라와 아드마와 스보임을 지나 라사에 이르렀습니다.

24 Arpachshad became the father of Shelah. Shelah became the father of Eber.And Arpachshad begat Shelah; and Shelah begat Eber.아르박삿은 셀라를 낳았고, 셀라는 에벨을 낳았습니다.
25 To Eber were born two sons. The name of the one was Peleg, for in his days the earth was divided.
