Genesis 40장

After these things, the butler of the king of Egypt and his baker offended their lord, the king of Egypt. And it came to pass after these things, that the butler of the king of Egypt and his baker offended their lord the king of Egypt.

Pharaoh was angry with his two officers, the chief cup bearer and the chief baker. And Pharaoh was wroth against his two officers, against the chief of the butlers, and against the chief of the bakers.

He put them in custody in the house of the captain of the guard, into the prison, the place where Joseph was bound. And he put them in ward in the house of the captain of the guard, into the prison, the place where Joseph was bound.

The captain of the guard assigned them to Joseph, and he took care of them. They stayed in prison many days. And the captain of the guard charged Joseph with them, and he ministered unto them: and they continued a season in ward.

They both dreamed a dream, each man his dream, in one night, each man according to the interpretation of his dream, the cup bearer and the baker of the king of Egypt, who were bound in the prison. And they dreamed a dream both of them, each man his dream, in one night, each man according to the interpretation of his dream, the butler and the baker of the king of Egypt, who were bound in the prison.

Joseph came in to them in the morning, and saw them, and saw that they were sad.And Joseph came in unto them in the morning, and saw them, and, behold, they were sad.

He asked Pharaoh’s officers who were with him in custody in his master’s house, saying, “ Why do you look so sad today?”And he asked Pharaoh’s officers that were with him in ward in his master’s house, saying, Wherefore look ye so sad to-day?

They said to him, “ We have dreamed a dream, and there is no one who can interpret it.” Joseph said to them, “Don’t interpretations belong to God? Please tell it to me.”And they said unto him, We have dreamed a dream, and there is none that can interpret it. And Joseph said unto them, Do not interpretations belong to God? tell it me, I pray you.

The chief cup bearer told his dream to Joseph, and said to him, “ In my dream, behold, a vine was in front of me,And the chief butler told his dream to Joseph, and said to him, In my dream, behold, a vine was before me;술 맡은 관원장이 자기 꿈을 요셉에게 이야기했다.

and in the vine were three branches. It was as though it budded, it blossomed, and its clusters produced ripe grapes.and in the vine were three branches: and it was as though it budded, and its blossoms shot forth; and the clusters thereof brought forth ripe grapes:그 포도나무에는 가지가 셋 있었는데, 싹이 트더니 꽃이 피고 그 송이들이 익은 포도가 되었소.

Pharaoh’s cup was in my hand; and I took the grapes, and pressed them into Pharaoh’s cup, and I gave the cup into Pharaoh’s hand.”and Pharaoh’s cup was in my hand; and I took the grapes, and pressed them into Pharaoh’s cup, and I gave the cup into Pharaoh’s hand.

Joseph said to him, “ This is its interpretation: the three branches are three days. And Joseph said unto him, This is the interpretation of it: the three branches are three days;요셉이 그에게 말했다.

Within three more days, Pharaoh will lift up your head, and restore you to your office. You will give Pharaoh’s cup into his hand, the way you did when you were his cup bearer.within yet three days shall Pharaoh lift up thy head, and restore thee unto thine office: and thou shalt give Pharaoh’s cup into his hand, after the former manner when thou wast his butler.

But remember me when it is well with you. Please show kindness to me, and make mention of me to Pharaoh, and bring me out of this house. But have me in thy remembrance when it shall be well with thee, and show kindness, I pray thee, unto me, and make mention of me unto Pharaoh, and bring me out of this house:그러나 당신이 잘되거든 나를 기억하시고, 부디 내게 은혜를 베풀어 바로께 나를 말씀드려 이 집에서 나가게 해 주십시오.

For indeed, I was stolen away out of the land of the Hebrews, and here also I have done nothing that they should put me into the dungeon.”for indeed I was stolen away out of the land of the Hebrews: and here also have I done nothing that they should put me into the dungeon.

When the chief baker saw that the interpretation was good, he said to Joseph, “ I also was in my dream, and behold, three baskets of white bread were on my head. When the chief baker saw that the interpretation was good, he said unto Joseph, I also was in my dream, and, behold, three baskets of white bread were on my head:빵 굽는 관원장은 그 꿈 풀이가 좋은 것을 보고 요셉에게 말했다.

In the uppermost basket there were all kinds of baked food for Pharaoh, and the birds ate them out of the basket on my head.”and in the uppermost basket there was of all manner of baked food for Pharaoh; and the birds did eat them out of the basket upon my head.

Joseph answered, “ This is its interpretation. The three baskets are three days. And Joseph answered and said, This is the interpretation thereof: the three baskets are three days;요셉이 대답했다.

Within three more days, Pharaoh will lift up your head from off you, and will hang you on a tree; and the birds will eat your flesh from off you.”within yet three days shall Pharaoh lift up thy head from off thee, and shall hang thee on a tree; and the birds shall eat thy flesh from off thee.

On the third day, which was Pharaoh’s birthday, he made a feast for all his servants, and he lifted up the head of the chief cup bearer and the head of the chief baker among his servants. And it came to pass the third day, which was Pharaoh’s birthday, that he made a feast unto all his servants: and he lifted up the head of the chief butler and the head of the chief baker among his servants.

He restored the chief cup bearer to his position again, and he gave the cup into Pharaoh’s hand; And he restored the chief butler unto his butlership again; and he gave the cup into Pharaoh’s hand:그는 술 맡은 관원장을 그의 자리로 회복시켜, 그가 바로의 손에 잔을 드리게 하였으나,

but he hanged the chief baker, as Joseph had interpreted to them.but he hanged the chief baker: as Joseph had interpreted to them.

Yet the chief cup bearer didn’t remember Joseph, but forgot him.Yet did not the chief butler remember Joseph, but forgat him.
