1 The two angels came to Sodom at evening. Lot sat in the gate of Sodom. Lot saw them, and rose up to meet them. 2 and he said, “ See now, my lords, please come into your servant’s house, stay all night, wash your feet, and you can rise up early, and go on your way.” They said, “ No, but we will stay in the street all night.”and he said, Behold now, my lords, turn aside, I pray you, into your servant’s house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and ye shall rise up early, and go on your way. 5 They called to Lot, and said to him, “Where are the men who came in to you this night? Bring them out to us, that we may have sex with them.”and they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men that came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them.그들이 롯을 부르며 말했습니다. "오늘 밤 네게 들어온 그 사람들이 어디 있느냐? 그들을 우리에게로 끌어내라. 우리가 그들과 관계하겠다."
6 Lot went out to them through the door, and shut the door after himself.And Lot went out unto them to the door, and shut the door after him.롯이 문으로 나가 그들에게 가서, 등 뒤로 문을 닫고
7 He said, “ Please, my brothers, don’t act so wickedly.And he said, I pray you, my brethren, do not so wickedly.말했습니다. "내 형제들이여, 제발 이런 악한 짓을 하지 마십시오.
8 See now, I have two virgin daughters. Please let me bring them out to you, and you may do to them what seems good to you. Only don’t do anything to these men, because they have come under the shadow of my roof.”Behold now, I have two daughters that have not known man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do ye to them as is good in your eyes: only unto these men do nothing, forasmuch as they are come under the shadow of my roof.보십시오, 내게 남자를 알지 못한 두 딸이 있으니, 그들을 여러분에게 데려오겠습니다. 여러분 좋을 대로 그들에게 하시고, 다만 이 사람들에게는 아무 짓도 하지 마십시오. 그들이 내 지붕 그늘 아래로 들어왔기 때문입니다."
9 They said, “ Stand back!” Then they said, “ This one fellow came in to live as a foreigner, and he appoints himself a judge. Now we will deal worse with you than with them!” They pressed hard on the man Lot, and came near to break the door.And they said, Stand back. And they said, This one fellow came in to sojourn, and he will needs be a judge: now will we deal worse with thee, than with them. And they pressed sore upon the man, even Lot, and drew near to break the door.그러나 그들이 말했습니다. "물러서라!" 또 말했습니다. 12 The men said to Lot, “ Do you have anybody else here? Sons-in-law, your sons, your daughters, and whomever you have in the city, bring them out of the place:And the men said unto Lot, Hast thou here any besides? son-in-law, and thy sons, and thy daughters, and whomsoever thou hast in the city, bring them out of the place:그 사람들이 롯에게 말했습니다. "여기 네 식구가 또 있느냐? 사위든 아들이든 딸이든, 이 성읍에 네게 속한 자가 있거든 모두 이곳에서 데리고 나가라.
13 for we will destroy this place, because the outcry against them has grown so great before Yahweh that Yahweh has sent us to destroy it.”for we will destroy this place, because the cry of them is waxed great before Jehovah; and Jehovah hath sent us to destroy it.우리가 이곳을 멸하려 한다. 그들에 대한 부르짖음이 여호와 앞에 크게 이르렀으므로, 여호와께서 이곳을 멸하라고 우리를 보내셨다."
14 Lot went out, and spoke to his sons-in-law, who were pledged to marry his daughters, and said, “ Get up! Get out of this place, for Yahweh will destroy the city!” But he seemed to his sons-in-law to be joking.And Lot went out, and spake unto his sons-in-law, who married his daughters, and said, Up, get you out of this place; for Jehovah will destroy the city. But he seemed unto his sons-in-law as one that mocked.롯이 나가서, 그의 딸들과 약혼한 사위들에게 말했습니다. "일어나 이곳에서 빠져나가게. 여호와께서 이 성읍을 멸하실 것이네." 그러나 그의 사위들에게는 그가 농담하는 것처럼 보였습니다.
15 When the morning came, then the angels hurried Lot, saying, “ Get up! Take your wife and your two daughters who are here, lest you be consumed in the iniquity of the city.”And when the morning arose, then the angels hastened Lot, saying, Arise, take thy wife, and thy two daughters that are here, lest thou be consumed in the iniquity of the city.아침이 밝아 오자, 천사들이 롯을 재촉하며 말했습니다. 16 But he lingered; and the men grabbed his hand, his wife’s hand, and his two daughters’ hands, Yahweh being merciful to him; and they took him out, and set him outside of the city.But he lingered; and the men laid hold upon his hand, and upon the hand of his wife, and upon the hand of his two daughters, Jehovah being merciful unto him: and they brought him forth, and set him without the city.그러나 롯이 머뭇거리니, 여호와께서 그에게 긍휼을 베푸셔서, 그 사람들이 롯의 손과 그의 아내의 손과 그의 두 딸의 손을 붙잡아 끌어내어 성 밖에 두었습니다.
17 It came to pass, when they had taken them out, that he said, “ Escape for your life! Don’t look behind you, and don’t stay anywhere in the plain. Escape to the mountains, lest you be consumed!”And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth abroad, that he said, Escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the Plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed.그들을 성 밖으로 데리고 나온 뒤에, 그분께서 말씀하셨습니다. "네 생명을 위하여 도망하라! 뒤를 돌아보지 말고, 이 들판 어디에도 머물지 말라. 산으로 도망하라. 그렇지 않으면 멸망할 것이다!"
18 Lot said to them, “ Oh, not so, my lord.And Lot said unto them, Oh, not so, my lord:롯이 그들에게 말했습니다. "오, 내 주여, 그렇게는 못 하겠습니다.
19 See now, your servant has found favor in your sight, and you have magnified your loving kindness, which you have shown to me in saving my life. I can’t escape to the mountain, lest evil overtake me, and I die.behold now, thy servant hath found favor in thy sight, and thou hast magnified thy lovingkindness, which thou hast showed unto me in saving my life; and I cannot escape to the mountain, lest evil overtake me, and I die:보십시오, 종이 주의 눈에 은혜를 입었고, 주께서 제 생명을 구하시는 큰 인자를 제게 베푸셨습니다. 그러나 제가 산으로 도망하지 못하겠으니, 재앙이 저를 덮쳐 죽을까 두렵습니다.
20 See now, this city is near to flee to, and it is a little one. Oh let me escape there (isn’t it a little one?), and my soul will live.”behold now, this city is near to flee unto, and it is a little one. Oh let me escape thither ( is it not a little one?), and my soul shall live.보십시오, 저 성읍은 도망하기에 가깝고 작은 곳입니다. 오, 그곳으로 도망하게 해 주십시오. (작은 곳이 아닙니까?) 그러면 제 영혼이 살겠습니다."
21 He said to him, “ Behold, I have granted your request concerning this thing also, that I will not overthrow the city of which you have spoken.And he said unto him, See, I have accepted thee concerning this thing also, that I will not overthrow the city of which thou hast spoken.그분께서 그에게 말씀하셨습니다. "보아라, 이 일에 대해서도 네 청을 들어주어, 네가 말한 그 성읍을 멸하지 않겠다.
22 Hurry, escape there, for I can’t do anything until you get there.” Therefore the name of the city was called Zoar.Haste thee, escape thither; for I cannot do anything till thou be come thither. Therefore the name of the city was called Zoar.서둘러 그곳으로 도망하여라. 네가 그곳에 이르기까지는 내가 아무 일도 할 수 없다." 그러므로 그 성읍의 이름을 소알이라 불렀습니다.
23 The sun had risen on the earth when Lot came to Zoar.The sun was risen upon the earth when Lot came unto Zoar.롯이 소알에 이르렀을 때, 해가 땅 위에 떠올랐습니다.
24 Then Yahweh rained on Sodom and on Gomorrah sulfur and fire from Yahweh out of the sky.Then Jehovah rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from Jehovah out of heaven;그때 여호와께서 하늘에서, 여호와께로부터 유황과 불을 소돔과 고모라 위에 비처럼 내리셨습니다.
25 He overthrew those cities, all the plain, all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew on the ground.and he overthrew those cities, and all the Plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground.그분께서 그 성읍들과 온 들판과 그 성읍의 모든 주민과 땅에서 자라난 것을 다 멸하셨습니다.

27 Abraham went up early in the morning to the place where he had stood before Yahweh.And Abraham gat up early in the morning to the place where he had stood before Jehovah:아브라함이 아침 일찍 일어나, 전에 여호와 앞에 섰던 그곳으로 갔습니다.
28 He looked toward Sodom and Gomorrah, and toward all the land of the plain, and saw that the smoke of the land went up as the smoke of a furnace.and he looked toward Sodom and Gomorrah, and toward all the land of the Plain, and beheld, and, lo, the smoke of the land went up as the smoke of a furnace.그가 소돔과 고모라 쪽을, 그리고 그 들판의 온 땅을 바라보니, 그 땅에서 연기가 마치 가마의 연기처럼 솟아오르는 것이 보였습니다.
29 When God destroyed the cities of the plain, God remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the middle of the overthrow, when he overthrew the cities in which Lot lived.And it came to pass, when God destroyed the cities of the Plain, that God remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow, when he overthrew the cities in which Lot dwelt.하나님께서 그 들판의 성읍들을 멸하실 때, 하나님께서 아브라함을 기억하셔서, 롯이 살던 성읍들을 뒤엎으실 때에 롯을 그 멸망 가운데서 내보내셨습니다.
30 Lot went up out of Zoar, and lived in the mountain, and his two daughters with him; for he was afraid to live in Zoar. He lived in a cave with his two daughters.And Lot went up out of Zoar, and dwelt in the mountain, and his two daughters with him; for he feared to dwell in Zoar: and he dwelt in a cave, he and his two daughters.롯이 소알에 사는 것을 두려워하여, 소알에서 나와 두 딸과 함께 산으로 올라가 살았습니다. 그는 두 딸과 함께 동굴에서 살았습니다.

33 They made their father drink wine that night: and the firstborn went in, and lay with her father. He didn’t know when she lay down, nor when she arose.And they made their father drink wine that night: and the first-born went in, and lay with her father; and he knew not when she lay down, nor when she arose.그날 밤 그들이 아버지에게 포도주를 마시게 하니, 큰딸이 들어가 아버지와 함께 누웠습니다. 그러나 그는 딸이 언제 눕고 언제 일어났는지 알지 못했습니다.
34 It came to pass on the next day, that the firstborn said to the younger, “ Behold, I lay last night with my father. Let’s make him drink wine again tonight. You go in, and lie with him, that we may preserve our father’s family line.”And it came to pass on the morrow, that the first-born said unto the younger, Behold, I lay yesternight with my father: let us make him drink wine this night also; and go thou in, and lie with him, that we may preserve seed of our father.다음 날 큰딸이 작은딸에게 말했습니다. 36 Thus both of Lot’s daughters were with child by their father.Thus were both the daughters of Lot with child by their father.이렇게 롯의 두 딸이 아버지로 말미암아 임신하게 되었습니다.
37 The firstborn bore a son, and named him Moab. He is the father of the Moabites to this day.And the first-born bare a son, and called his name Moab: the same is the father of the Moabites unto this day.큰딸이 아들을 낳고 그 이름을 모압이라 하니, 그는 오늘날까지 모압 사람의 조상입니다.
38 The younger also bore a son, and called his name Ben Ammi. He is the father of the children of Ammon to this day.And the younger, she also bare a son, and called his name Ben-ammi: the same is the father of the children of Ammon unto this day.작은딸도 아들을 낳고 그 이름을 벤암미라 하니, 그는 오늘날까지 암몬 자손의 조상입니다.
